Bakgrund: Sömnen är ett av våra grundläggande behov och är viktig för vår hälsa och välbefinnande. Sömnproblem är vanligt bland äldre personer som bor på särskilt boende. Sömnproblemen behandlas ofta med sömntabletter som medför risk för exempelvis förvirring och fall.Syfte: Syftet med denna litteraturstudie är att beskriva effekter av icke farmakologiska åtgärder för att minska sömnproblem bland personer som bor och vårdas på särskilt boende.Metod: Detta är en litteraturstudie där resultatet från åtta kvantitativa artiklar granskats och sammanställts. Resultatet av analysen redovisas utifrån följande sex kategorier; fysisk aktivitet, social aktivitet, ljusterapi, ändrade vårdrutiner, avslappning och kognitiv beteendeterapi.Resultat: I litteraturstudien framkom att icke farmakologiska åtgärder kan minska sömnproblem hos äldre personer på särskilt boende. Dock redovisas varierande resultat av de olika åtgärderna.

BAKGRUND: Idag dricker allt fler svenskar alkohol allt oftare och i större mängder. Alkoholmissbruk innebär ett lidande för den drabbade och dennes anhöriga, samtidigt som det är ett omfattande och kostsamt problem för samhället. Sjukvårdspersonal har goda kunskaper om alkohol och dess påverkan och kan därför spela en mycket viktig roll i det hälsoförebyggande arbetet relaterat till alkohol och missbruk. SYFTE: Syftet med denna litteraturöversikt är att beskriva vårdandet av patienter med ett alkoholmissbruk med speciellt fokus på bemötande och vårdrelationen. METOD: En litteraturöversikt där nio vetenskapliga artiklar analyserats.

I ett alltmer välinformerat samhälle, ökar individens kunskap om hälso- och sjukvård samt om patientens rättigheter och skyldigheter. Detta ställer krav på sjuksköterskor att arbeta aktivt för ökad patientdelaktighet. Syftet med denna pilotstudie var att undersöka patientens upplevelse av patientdelaktighet på en cytostatikamottagning på ett sjukhus i södra Sverige. Datainsamling skedde med hjälp av enkät, utdelad på mottagningen. Materialet bearbetades med kvalitativ innehållsanalys, vilket resulterade i två huvudkategorier: Kommunikation mellan patient och sjuksköterska och hantering av sjukdomsupplevelsen.
