The aim of the study is to examine how religion legitimates outrages and it what ways we can regard religion as politics. The study uses the theory that Eickelman and Piscatori present in their book Muslim politics. They use the term ?Muslim politics? to describe the relation between Islam and politics. Eickelman and Piscatori divide Muslim politics in five elements that the essay uses to structure the analysis.

The goal of this Bachelor project was to develop the Sundsvall42 website,whose name originates from the conference held in week 42 and during whichall the IT-companies in Sundsvall gather and hold a number of different lectures.The website has been designed to accommodate both speakers and partipicants.All partipicants and lecturers will receive a personalized page inwhich there are a number of functions which are available for use, including ablog for each workshop and a calendar. The program used to create this isLiferay and the operating system is Linux. The entire website is encoded usingLiferay and Java, but the website is not adapted for use with the smaller screensize of the Smartphone. However, because of the Responsive Design technology,the website is able to adapt to various devices such as the Ipad and Smartphonesand the website will be able to adapt to the screen sizes of these devices.As it has all been processed using open-source, everyone has the right to accessthe source code. It is also possible for anyone to make changes to the code ifsuch changes are required.

Studiens syfte var att undersöka barns uppfattningar kring iPaden i förskolan. I dagens samhälle växer barnen upp med modern teknik och den kommer mer och mer in i förskolan. Undersökningen genomfördes med hjälp av kvalitativa barnintervjuer och vårdnadshavarnas godkännande har getts, vilket är av vikt. Sammanlagt har 26 barn intervjuats i två olika förskolor i samma kommun, i södra Sverige. Studien utgick ifrån ett sociokulturellt perspektiv där begrepp såsom interaktion, kulturellt redskap, sociala praktiker och den proximala utvecklingszonen stod i fokus.

Tekniken idag utvecklas ständigt, barnen i dagens förskola föds in i en digital värld fylld av teknik. Användandet av surfplattor har ökat kraftigt bland förskolebarn jämfört med år 2012. Syftet med vår studie var att undersöka vilka sociala positioner barn intar när de använder iPaden i den fria leken. Vi har använt oss av Agneta Ljung Djärfs avhandling Spelet runt datorn ? datoranvändande som meningsskapande praktik i förskolan (2004). I avhandlingen presenterar Ljung Djärf positionerna ägare, deltagare och åskådare.

The overall aim of this thesis is to examine the production and repetitiveness of gender patterns with focus on girls in the swedish tween magazine Kamratposten. This is of importance due to the non existing research on Kamratposten concerning this specific topic. The aim is also to evoke a broader discussion about the relationsship between gender representation and pedagody. The theoretical framework is based on three concepts, namly Yvonne Hirdman?s gender contract, Judith Butler?s performativity and the idea of heteronormativity.

When is it acceptable to make fun of religion, and when does it become disrespectful? On January 7, 2015, the headquarters of the French satirical news paper Charlie Hebdo was subjected to a terrorist attack that claimed the lives of 12 staff members, due to the publishing of caricatures picturing the prophet Muhammed. The reactions that followed the attack circled around two perspectives; the importance of freedom of expression and the obligation to show respect for certain institutions and traditions in society. How come the caricatures can elicit such completely different reactions? This is the question that this thesis uses as a starting point for the examination of the subject caricatures and satire.

Our essay focuses on media's coverage on the topic of overweight. We investigated how media portrays the picture of the ideal body and person and how the overweight person deviate from those pictures. We also tried to uncover how the media addresses specific types of subjects which we interpret to represent the normative way of being. From the way media presents their message we distinguished which subjects are being excluded. For this work we studied articles from the daily newspaper called Aftonbladet and a lifestyle magazine for women called Må Bra.

On the 12:th of April 2011, the Swedish tabloid magazine Expressen publishes a story, claiming that Ola Lindholm, presenter of critically acclaimed TV-show ?Wild Kids? has been suspected and apprehended on cocaine allegations. The serious allegation called for Ola Lindholm to defend himself against the allegations. His only public response was a blog-post where he claimed his innocence, albeit with some reservations.  The purpose of this paper is to analyze Lindholm?s rhetorical defense.

This is a study about a company in Norrköping, called Stadium AB, and its first steps into the global market. We have studied how the conditions of the company have changed during their expansion. This study is not written from the viewpoint of business economics, it is rather a study from a cultural and social studies perspective. The study deals with subjects such as the globalization of society, organizational theories and leadership. The empiric material consists of Stadium?s staff magazine Tracks, the company?s swedish homepage on the Internet and an interview with Sussi Calås-Jonsson, Chief of the Department of Information at Stadium AB.

The aim of this thesis is to study what conceptions of literature that are present in the teacher magazine Svenskläraren between the years 1985 and 2012. In other words: what is the underlying view on literature's value as a teaching aid and why should we study it in school? I relate my analysis to previous research about the use of fiction in education. A critical methodology has been used to study the material. In my results I distinguish three conceptions of literature that are present in Svenskläraren.

Examensarbetet är en interventionsstudie där syftet var att undersöka om elever med intellektuell funktionsnedsättning kan utveckla sin fonologiska medvetenhet genom "intensivt" arbete med Appen Bornholmslek.Under en fyraveckorsperiod arbetade fyra elever på gymnasiesärskolans individuella program, verksamhetsträning med övningar i Appen Bornholmslek. Elevernas fonologiska medvetenhet testades före och efter arbetet med Appen. Varje elev arbetade individuellt med mig 10-15 minuter per dag, fyra dagar per vecka. Under arbetet med Appen observerade jag och skrev fältanteckningar. Efter de fyra veckorna intervjuades eleverna om arbetet med Appen.Resultaten på testerna efter arbetet visade en liten utveckling av fonemisk medvetenhet för tre elever och en något förbättrad fonologisk medvetenhet för en elev.

Mobile devices such as tablets and smartphones are quite common in this day. The author of this thesis wanted to know how common these mobile devices are in the building industry and how they are used and what potential an app could have. The author thus conducted an investigation on this matter, mainly in the form of interviews.Answers given by the interviews were then used as a basis to survey the usage of mobile devices and the usage of different kinds of apps. An investigation of different apps with the potential to be used by professionals in the building industry has been carried through. Apps which manage such things as scanning documents, measuring distances and handle communication.

Syftet med denna studie är att bidra med kunskap och en diskussion om hur några pedagoger beskriver konstruktionen av utvecklingssamtal på förskolan samt hur pedagogerna beskriver det innehåll som de anser bör finnas med vid ett utvecklingssamtal. Studien har genomförts med utgångspunkt från ett konstruktionistiskt perspektiv med hjälp av en mindre enkätundersökning samt en fördjupad intervjustudie där svaren sedan har bearbetats kvalitativt. Bearbetning av materialet har gjorts genom att tolka innebörder och konstruera kategorier efter de svar som erhållits. Resultatet av studien visar att de deltagande pedagogerna använder sig av fortlöpande anteckningar under terminen, multimedia såsom Ipad och digitalkamera och pedagogisk dokumentation samt barnkonferens när de förbereder sig inför ett utvecklingssamtal. Pedagogerna anser också att de viktigaste delarna att ta upp vid ett utvecklingssamtal är barnets utveckling och lärande, information från föräldrar, föräldrarnas tankar och önskemål samt barnets trivsel och trygghet på förskolan. En viktig aspekt är relationen mellan föräldrarna och pedagogerna där både denna studies respondenter och tidigare forskning är samstämmiga, en god relation är grunden till hur utvecklingssamtalet uppfattas. .

The aim of this essay is to do a queer reading of the early Swedish pentecostal movement, with a special focus on the women within the movement. The main empirical material is Gustaf Emil Söderholms Den svenska pingstväckelsens historia part I and II, published 1927 and 1928, in addition to this a selection of articles from the Swedish pentecostal magazine Evangelii Härold has been used. The theoretical framework consists of Judith Butler's concepts of heterosexual matrix and performativity, as well as interpellation, and of Adrienne Rich's concept of a lesbian continuum. The analysis shows that the evangelist role, as well as the charismatic practices of the movement, made it possible for women to take the position as leader and teacher of congregations, and thereby take up a male subject position. The role as evangelist also made possible a life outside of the heterosexual norm, within the lesbian continuum..

Syftet med studien är att undersöka hur förskollärare använder sig av surfplattor och lärapplikationen Puppet Pals i förskolan. För att få svar på detta genomfördes fyra kvalitativa intervjuer med förskollärare i södra Sverige. Två filmer som respondenternas respektive barngrupper skapat i Puppet Pals har valts ut och analyserats. Det har även undersökts hur pedagogerna kopplar sitt arbete med Puppet Pals till förskolans läroplan, med andra ord; om de arbetar med paddagogik.Den teoretiska utgångspunkten har under hela studien varit det sociokulturella perspektivet, med nyckelord som samspel, interaktion och artefakt.Undersökning visar att lärarna med hjälp av surfplattan och applikationen Puppet Pals lyckas få med de fem bitar ur läroplanen som vi tolkar att förskolans läroplan bygger på; värdegrund, matematik, naturvetenskap, språkutveckling och dokumentation. Det som framkom studien var att förskollärarna som verkligen har ett brinnande intresse för surfplattan och lyckats tänka utanför ramarna i sitt användande av Puppet Pals har hittat ett mycket användbart och uppskattat pedagogiskt redskap för såväl värdegrund, matematik, naturvetenskap, språkutveckling och dokumentation..
