The interest in small-scale electricity in Sweden has increased strongly in recent years. The interest is noticeable both among politicians to increase the share of renewables in the energy mix, and among electricity consumers to partially replace purchased electricity with self-produced. This has resulted in a significant increase of electricity production in low voltage grids in recent years, and the trend appears to continue in the coming years. The majority of the new production plants are solar cells, followed by wind turbines, and it is also in these the greatest efforts are made in this paper.Distributed generation is often seen as something positive since it will contribute to reduced transmission losses and reduced voltage drop in the networks, and that it increases the share of electricity from renewable sources. In cases where the grids are not strong enough, or in other ways not adapted to manage the installed production, power quality may be adversely affected.

Transportation constitutes a large part of the forest industry's raw material costs. Transport also contributes a significant proportion of the carbon dioxide emissions. In order to reduce both the cost and environmental impact different types of decision support are required. These, in turn, require extensive information about the road network and correct information on road path selection and transport distances. In the development of national road data base for forestry (SNVDB) a road selection application has been included.

The high and seemingly increasing degree of consumer avoidance and disliking of television advertising breaks should raise many questions for commercially financed television networks as it can be argued that benefits sought by both viewers [seeking a fulfilling viewing experience] and advertisers [seeking advertising effectiveness] are eroded by this effect. This thesis studies effects on advertising effectiveness [RecallBRAND; AttitudeBRAND; AttitudeAD] as well as on the viewing experience [SatisfactionPROGRAM/CHANNEL; Attitude PROGRAM/CHANNEL; IntentionPROGRAM/CHANNEL] given a reduced degree of advertising clutter. By conducting an experiment two breaks are compared, one having the standard primetime nonprogram time units (5 min and 30 sec *3?16minutes/hour) and the other the standard nonprogram content cut in half (2.45 min *3 ?8min /hour).Results show that the reduced breaks award advertisers with higher commercial effectiveness. Measures of RecallBRAND demonstrates no differences between the standard and the reduced break, implying a significantly increased likelihood to be recalled and an equivalently lowered risk to be forgotten in the reduced break.

Swedish Development Cooperation emphasizes the need for collaboration among actors on a national level. In that context, the purpose of the thesis is to investigate how Public Private Partnership (PPP) on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) may influence the changing role of the state. The thesis is informed by Critical Discourse Analysis. In order to investigate the social constructions of reality, the thesis is a critical study of language related to ?Globalt Ansvar: Swedish Partnership for Global Responsibility? to identify through what discourses Collaboration on Corporate Social Responsibility is produced; and the implications in relation to Public Private Partnership.

The purpose of this essay is to illustrate immigrants? and refugees? thoughts and experiences of the process of integrating into Swedish society and to examine which social networks foster the process. The main questions in the study are: * What experiences enable refugees and immigrants to become integrated and fully participating members of the Swedish society?* What is the importance of the social networks with regards to integration into Swedish society? A qualitative method was used and five interviews were completed with SFI (Swedish for immigrants) students. The study shows that knowledge of Swedish language promotes an initiative in contacting native Swedes, and it also determines the success of integration.

SVT is Sweden?s largest TV-network and broadcasts more then 22 000 hours of TV each year. SVT is a public service company where the basic idea is to reflect the world from different perspectives and news is very important for providing neutral and versatile information in a variety of areas. An important part of the flow of information is to continuously receive reports from all corners of the world around the clock. This places very high demands on the technology used and it is important that it function and develops to meet current and future growing needs.

The major difference between venture capital-firms and other financiers is that their business idea is not only providing capital but also knowledge in business development. The ownership structure of an venture capital-firm can be private as well as public. The Swedish government is today one of the major actors in the Swedish venture capital-industry. The purpose of this study is to shed light on how venture capital-firms involve itself in its portfolio firm and if this contributes to an increased value of the portfolio firm. We also try to shed light on differences in how a public and a private venture capital-firm gets involved in its portfolio firm and if there is any difference in how they can contribute to added value.We have chosen to interview two public and two private venture capital-firms and one of their portfolio firms.

Background: Suicidal individuals are vulnerable patients in need of a caring relationship. A caring relationship should be based on a real presence were the patient's needs are in focus. Yet research has shown that suicidal patients experience caring that exacerbate their suicidial problems and hopelessness.Aim: To describe the experiences of hope and hopelessness in suicidal patients and their encounter with health care.Methods: In a literature review, in accordance with Friberg (2012) eight scientific papers have used, analyzed and scrutinized to answer the purpose of a new whole.Results: Two main themes emerged in the results with related subcategories. Experiences of hopegiving acts with sub-themes: The significance of  a caring relationship, the significance of a strong social network and the significance of feelings of hopefulness. The second main theme that emerged was: Experiences of acts connected to hopelessness with subthemes: The significance of a non-confirmatory caring relationship and the significance of feelings of hopelessness.Discussions: It is found that suicidal patients experience care that lead to feelings of despair.

Denna uppsats undersöker hur intressenter och aktörer påverkar, eller kan påverka en destinationsutveckling. För att specificera det något har författarna gjort en fallstudie av en påtänkt destination som är under utveckling lokaliserad i Figeholm, Kalmar län. Då destinationer överlag kan ha en vidare påverkan på regioner, handlar denna uppsats om den regionala påverkan som The Circle Resort kan tänkas få och föra med sig genom sin utveckling. Meningen med detta arbete är att försöka visa på hur de olika intressenterna och aktörerna samarbetar och kommunicerar med sin omgivning. Materialet till empirin är insamlad från källor som har, eller kommer att ha, en roll i destinationens utveckling.

Entreprenörskap skapar nya idéer, nya produkter och nya jobb och är därmed viktigt för ett lands ekonomiska utveckling. I Sverige blir det en alltmer globaliserad ekonomi, som leder till strukturförändringar i näringslivet. För att Sverige ska klara av den framtida tillväxten behövs fler företag startas. Företag är bra för samhället. Med inspiration från Gartner´s resonemang om att intresset inom entreprenörskap skall fokuseras på hur organisationen uppstår och bildas, är vårt syfte med uppsatsen att studera och klargöra faktorer som påverkar framväxten av entreprenörskap.

I detta examensarbete undersöks tillämpligheten av speciellt anpassade kartprojektioner för projektering, byggnation, drift och underhåll av långsträcka objekt inom svensk infrastruktur. Speciellt intresse ägnas åt Snake Grid-projektionen som utvecklats av University College London i samarbete med Network Rail, som bygger och underhåller det brittiska järnvägsnätet.I samband med att man i Sverige satsar på utbyggnad och uppgradering av järnvägsnätet med höghastighetsspår, uppstår även ny mätningstekniska utmaningar då anläggningarna blir allt mer komplicerade, och toleranserna allt snävare. Projekteringen av anläggningarna utförs oftast i programvaror som antar att bygget kommer att utföras i ett tredimensionellt rum med rätvinkliga axlar, med norr och öst i ett plan och lodriktningen vinkelrätt mot detta plan. Problem uppstår när detta antagande om en platt jord möter verkligheten med en krökt jordyta och kuperad terräng.Den klassiska lösningen på problemet är att arbeta med kartprojektioner, för att på så sätt lokalt eller regionalt approximera en platt jord vid kartering och projektering. Storleken på det område som kartprojektionen är giltig för och lokala höjdförhållanden bestämmer hur stora avbildningsfelen, i form av skalförskjutningar, som mest blir i kartan.

Det här examensarbetet berör ämnet färgstyrning inom digitaltryck. Grundprincipen med färgstyrning är att få hela den grafiska produktionskedjan att resultera i en förutsägbar och korrekt slutprodukt. Den här styrningen sker i huvudsak med hjälp av ICC-profiler. Syftet med arbetet var att hjälpa företaget dpn att ta fram ett väl fungerande arbetsflöde för deras två Kodak digitalpressar. Företaget ville dels få en så bra färgmatchning mellan de båda tryckpressarna som möjligt, och dels få en så bra matchning mot gällande standardvärden för offsettryck som möjligt. Dessutom syftade arbetet till att utveckla min egen kunskap kring arbetet med färgstyrning. Arbetet utfördes genom instudering av relevant teori i ämnet, vilken sedan applicerades på det praktiska arbetet.

The meeting industry is a growing industry around the world, and the technological development in recent decades is one of the contributing factors to the increased travel opportunities and meeting industry's expansion. It can be assumed that the technology could replace some of the personal meetings, but humans have always had a need to meet in physical locations in work related purposes, therefore there is no evidence that personal meetings will disappear. Technological development should be seen as complementary rather than a substitute to the existing professional meetings. Public and private sectors within countries has drawn attention to meeting industry's potential, as favored destinations in terms of economic administration, image creation, expansion and acquisition of further market share in the global market. Meeting industry is complex precisely because there are so many different actors and stakeholders that integrate.

Målet med detta arbete har varit att besvara frågan; ?Varför uppstår det så mycket problem med trådlösa nätverk??. Detta har gjorts genom att studera relevant litteratur för att sedan kunna utföra två egna studier: en enkätundersökning och tre experiment. Teorin har framförallt hämtats ur kurser och material från Cisco. Undersökningen har hjälpt till att fastställa den generella datoranvändarens kunskaper om trådlösa nätverk.

The social network services (SNS) on the Internet are becoming more common, and are starting to have a higher range of users, which is affecting Internet marketing. We (the authors) have a feelingthat a growing online marketing within social networks could interrupt the order of social standards. That is why we in this paper have tried to figure out what position marketing has ? and might have ? within SNS, and what impact it will have on social relations.During qualitative interviews along with both representatives of public relation offices as well as with SNS users, we became aware of the occurring strategies of online marketing, and the usersunderstanding of it. In the information from the interviews, we found some interesting contradictions on which this paper underlies.
