Today there are many different Cad-applications on the market for engineers. Because of big building projects it has become more and more important to work with the same application or to have access to a neutral file type to be able to transfer files between different ones.This report studies the single objects and how they react when transferring them between ADT and ArchiCAD via the neutral type IFC. We have also been looking at problems during the transfer between and if there are some connections between these problems. Afterwards we created a neutral object model of a small country house to see if the objects appeared different. The result shows no differences.But looking at the problems that appeared during the transmissions they felt small and no logical.Today it is not possible to save in a neutral type without facing small problems.

Metod: Den valda metoden för denna uppsats är en kvalitativ undersökning av ett fallföretag, Espresso House, som ska vara ett gott exempel på en kedja med synlig produktionsprocess.

To be able to plan for the expansion of a town, one needs a vision of the future appear-ance of the town. It is the current issues (social situation, supply and demand, political control etc.) which decide what the ideal for town planning is. This is turn is the steering factor of the physical structure of the town. Therefore, the town's structure is decided by these ideals.In this report, I will present planning ideals that have historically been, and which criticisms that have been directed towards them. With reference to these issues, I will present those guidelines and ideals we have today for planning of our towns.

This thesis deals with two types of agrarian remains in relation to settlement remains; clearance cairns, low stone walls and house terraces in the area of Northeastern Uppland and the area north of Lake Mälaren, during the middle Iron Age. The aim whit this thesis is trying to get a better understanding of the relation between agrarian and settlement remains in Uppland. Three places have been chosen where these three elements are present and they are interpreted through Richard Whites concept of middle ground but also Landesque capital. The three elements have shown to be expressed in different ways in all three sites. It is possible to see two areas with different traditions, but also to see two areas that closely interact with each other, this opens up for a new discussion around agrarian remains in both areas.

I denna fältstudie har vi gjort en undersökning av hur foderfraktioner i foderstaten till mjölkkor förhåller sig till sju olika parametrar; mjölkavkastning, fett- och proteinhalt, sjukdomsfrekvens, hull, gödsel och sortering. I studien har vi besökt 15 gårdar. På dessa gårdar har vi separerat foder i olika fraktioner, hullbedömt kor, bedömt gödselkonsistens och intervjuat bönderna om deras produktion för att bilda oss en uppfattning om hur foderfraktionerna påverkar våra sju hypoteser. Våra sju hypoteser var: 1. Partikelstorlek påverkar gödselkonsistensen. Större andel små partiklar ger lösare gödsel. 2.

I rapporten beskrivs sjöfartshandeln i stora drag för att sedan fokusera på mer tekniska detaljer, så som hur propellermodellering fungerar och ett bulkfartyg avsett för att frakta sågat virke mellan Gävle och Hull projekteras. Senare i rapporten studeras möjligheten att utvinna olja och gas i arktiska områden.I propellermodelleringen beskrivs teorierna och metoderna för att beräkna fram en optimal fartygspropeller. Kombinationen av bladelementteorin och momentteorin för att erhålla rimliga beräkningsresultat redogörs och används sedan för att göra ett rimligt propellerval till fartyget som projekteras.Vid projekteringen av ett bulkfartyg efter transportscenariot dimensioneras ett fartyg avsett att klara av transportuppgiften. Rimliga mått bestäms för att fartyget ska klara av att frakta den givna lastmängden. Stabilitets- och motståndsberäkningar görs samt val av propeller och motor.

My ethnographic study in a camp site with participation observations, interviews and analysis have results in facts that show why.The most common camper is the house owner with average income. And the choice of the camp site depend on the security and the service that the camp site offered. The camp site was controlled and the campers controlled each other.

The green areas that are left in city centres and suburbs are often small and surrounded by roads and buildings. Despite this, several studies have shown that these small green areas may house large biological diversity.This project aims to study the biological diversity in small green patches in residential areas. The study has been carried out in Råsunda in Solna municipality (Stockholm county) during the period May?July 2006.Three equivalent areas (5000?10 000 m2) with quite many old oaks were chosen for the study and inventoried for birds and saproxylic insects.

In order to take environmental consideration, different environmental assessment tools and standards are used. Miljo?byggnad, Svanen, FEBY12 and PHI are some of these. There has been increased interest to certify buildings and therefore it is of interest to evaluate the assessment of the energy field to see if relevant energy aspects are assessed.

The purpose of this thesis was to investigate the need of working instructions in Derome Träteknik ?s industrial house-building factories. Furthermore we wanted to determine an appropriate way for developing working instructions adapted to the conditions in a certain production environment. In the construction industry today prefabricated building elements are frequently used. With this come repetitive work tasks that need to be carefully planned.

The purpose of this study is to find out how buyers of forest-and farm land have valued the property's various parts. How buyers has valued the forest, field, pasture, house and the farm buildings on their property. A questionnaire with 22 questions was sent to 68 people how had bought a property in Kronoberg or Blekinge. They had bought the property in 2010 and first half of 2011, and the properties have been provided by LRF-konsult. To each question there were several alternatives and the buyers would choose the alternative that was most similar to his or her opinion. The study is based on 57 responses.

The aim of the present study was to investigate the effect of sensory modality on short-term memory recall. An exploratory, cross-sectional study was performed. A total of 119 individuals participated. There were 70 female and 49 male subjects, aged 4 to 80 years (M=34,3). The participants were presented with 12 different objects in auditory, visual or auditory/visual mode over a period of 24 seconds.

The glassed facadeneeds to have a very good U-value and all the parts of the facade need to be isolated and theconstruction needs to prevent thermal bridges.In this essay we will start by looking at the shape of the conservatory. Due to the façade consistsof glass the conservatory will need to have a good ratio between the area and the façade so thatthe heat losses will be at a minimum. However, due to the fact that one of the sides of the façadeis connected to the warm house, you quickly realize that the shape of the conservatory is of noimportance.There are two common ways to build a foundation for a conservatory, a molded concretefoundation and isolated wooden beams.
