The aim of this thesis is to investigate how the majorities view on the minority can affect the minorities view on themselves.The study focuses on the research questions; what does the Roma identity look like? Is there a connecting between the week feeling of belonging to the majority ? Slovaks - that the Roma people feel and the widespread racism, stereotypes and scapegoat view towards Roma that the majority in the Slovak society have? Is the view Roma have on themselves effected by how other see them? Has the situation for the Roma gotten better since Slovakia entered the European Union?An empirical research study has been conducted in Slovakia during the period of April 2006 and interviews with Roma and NGO representatives where done.The Roma people's situation in Slovakia is bad and the discrimination towards them is widespread, both in the working life, healthcare, education system and housing. A lot has happened the last years, before Slovakia entered the EU the country adapted many new laws that strengthen the Roma people place in the society and gave them as a minority more support and rights.According to my findings it is found, and what most of the interview Roma expressed themselves, was that today they have a very low feeling of belonging and being a part of the Slovak society. They also expressed that they are very much affected by the poor view that the majority of Slovak have of them and in many cases they did not even want to try to be part of the society. The NGOs expressed that the situation for Roma in Slovakia is bad and even if it has been improved since the country entered the EU, the NGOs said that there are only a lot of new laws and in reality not much has changed..

Examensarbetet behandlar det s.k. Kingområdet i södra Helsingborg. Planområdet benämns som King i arbetet, har en storlek av ca 45 hektar och ett avstånd till innerstaden på ca i kilometer. Området består idag främst av bangård och verksamheter av olika karaktär. Under en kommande 20-årsperiod kan stora förändringar förväntas ske i dessa delar av staden och det är i denna utveckling som arbetet tagit sin utgångspunkt.

In 2010 mandatory audit was revoked for small and medium sized companies in Sweden. At the same time the authorization for accounting consultants was established with the aim of raising the knowledge and status of the profession. Even though The Swedish Companies Registration Office has discovered more errors in the accounting after the mandatory audit was eliminated, it especially concerns those companies who does not have neither an auditor or an accounting consultant. One of the reasons often mentioned to be audited is the auditors role when it comes to lending decisions. Our empirical studie show that the auditors most important function, being unbiased, is not what is of greatest importance for the credit institutions.Instead it was professional skills, and for small and medium enterprises (SME) it was consulting they requested the most.

Commissioned for this report is Ramboll, Bridge and Tunnel Unit in Stockholm. Theidea throughout the work has been to primarily help bridge designers compilingadvice and instructions on how fatigue verification for railway bridges in reinforcedconcrete shall be performed under the new rules, the Eurocodes.After the introduction of the Eurocodes in 2011 has major problems emerged amongdesigners around Sweden. In some areas, it differs in the calculation rules comparedwith rules from the Swedish Transport Administration and the National Board ofHousing, Building and Planning calculation. Fatigue verification is one area where thenew calculation rules are different from the past.A large part of the report has been to interpret and find the relevant information inthe Eurocodes concerning fatigue. When questions or doubts have surfaced, this hasbeen discussed with Elisabeth Helsing at the Swedish Transport Administration andbridge designers at Ramboll.The result is a report where the structure is organized in the way that the bridgedesigners can move from cover to cover and realize that fatigue verification in realityfollows the same order as the report's sections.

Musiken som kompositör och regissör är en uppsats om hur vi som utövande sångare och kompositörer omedvetet verkar i en tradition som har sina rötter i en kompositionsteknik och estetik som hade sin storhetstid för tre till fyrahundra år sedan, nämligen affektläran.Som bas för min undersökning ligger min egen komposition, operan ?Post office?, med ettlibretto baserat på Charles Bukowskis roman med samma namn. Operan är komponerad utan att jag hade någon som helst kännedom om affektläran, och jag ställer därför frågan om jagomedvetet har komponerat utifrån en tradition som går tillbaka till 1600- och 1700-talet. Jaghar använt mig av en analysmetod där jag väljer ut vissa stycken ur operan, vilka sedan haranalyserats textligt och musikaliskt utifrån affektlärans tekniker. Jag har även med hjälp av en observation av ett antal sångare, som fått framföra delar av min opera, undersökt om det retoriskt-gestiska agerandet i barockens opera omedvetet kan leva kvar hos dagens sångare.

The purpose of this study was to find out if motion movements, e.g. number of lying bouts and lying time with a registered activity monitoring sensor can detect an impending calving and thereby be used as a measure and an indicator for an upcoming calving. For this, automatically step sensors were used and were attached to one of the cows? hind leg. The sensor registered the individual step and movement activity of the cow.

AbstractOur purpose was to understand how social workers experience the possible complexities that working with economical aid can entail. As an example we chose to focus on long-term economical aid work. We aimed to address the question of which factors could affect their work. In a prior study, done by Dellgran & Höjer (2003) the conclusion was drawn  that  the combination of economical aid, healthcare and schools makeup a third of  practical social work in the terms of the proportion of the amount of social workers, but only 8 percent of the research is done in those areas. Other studies (Stranz, 2007) demonstrate that the research that is done on working with economical aid is deficient.

Många personer lever med demenssjukdom, och antalet beräknas stiga i takt med att befolkningen blir äldre. Syftet med studien var att utifrån personer med demenssjukdom och deras berättelser beskriva upplevelser av att bo i ordinärt boende och hantera vardagen. Studien har utförts genom ostrukturerade intervjuer med nio personer med demenssjukdom som är över 65 år och som bor i ordinärt boende. Data bearbetades genom kvalitativ manifest innehållsanalys. Resultatet redovisas i sex olika kategorier som handlar om begränsningar i vardagen, förändrad självbild, känslan av missnöje, känslan av förnöjsamhet, sociala relationer och strategier.De äldre personerna upplevde begränsningar och varberoende av andra på grund av sin demenssjukdom.

Vårt syfte med denna uppsats har vart att undersöka om den sekundära bostadsmarknaden påverkar socialarbetarna i arbetet med hemlösa klienter som har eller haft missbruksproblematik. Då vi ansåg att det är socialarbetarnas upplevda verklighet som är av störst intresse valde vi att utföra kvalitativa intervjuer med fyra socialarbetare. Intervjuguiden formades med hjälp av Michael Lipskys bok Street-level Bureaucracy (2010) i vilken han beskriver sin teori om gräsrotsbyråkrats yrket, denna bok har även genomsyrat hela arbetet och sedan använts som ett verktyg i analysen av vår empiri. Bakgrunds avsnittet avser att ge en vid förståelse av hur komplex hemlöshetsproblematiken är, för att sedan i tidigare forskning smalna av till den forskning som behandlar vår syfte mer specifikt. Vi kommer i vår avslutande diskussion argumentera för att den sekundära bostadsmarknaden påverkar socialarbetarna på olika sätt då de måste acceptera hyresvärdarnas krav.

Today there are many system development projects that break both budget and time plan. Often this depends on defects in the information systems that could have been prevented. The cost of test can in some cases be as high as 50 % of the projects total cost and it's at the same time an important part of development. Test as such has moved its focus from the software it self and its faults to a wider perspective on whole infrastructures of information systems where assure a good quality is important. Sogeti in the Netherlands have developed a test method called TMap (Test Management approach) that can be used for structured testing of information systems.

Syftet för den här undersökningen är att försöka se och belysa vad som utmärker verksamheten i en barngrupp på en mångkulturell förskola. Detta syfte har delats in i tre frågeställningar-     Vad har pedagogerna för pedagogiska tankar kring sin verksamhet?-     Hur arbetar pedagogerna med språk?-     Hur ser samarbetet mellan förskola och hem ut?Undersökningsmetoden för arbetet har varit kvalitativa intervjuer med fem pedagoger som arbetar med mångkulturella barngrupper.Resultaten jag har fått fram kring vad som utmärker sig under de olika frågeställningsrubrikerna visar att pedagogerna menar att de;-     arbetar mer konkret än i icke mångkulturella förskolor, och att de försöker vara mer närvarande i barnens lek, för att hjälpa barnen med sin tvåspråkighet;-     upplever att personal med annat modersmål än svenska är en stor tillgång i verksamheten, likväl som resursen modersmålspedagog, som finns i de rektorsområden jag gjort min undersökning i. De uppger även att de uppmuntrar barnen att använda olika språk i förskolan;-     tycker att samarbetet mellan förskolan och föräldrarna fungerar bra, och att föräldrarna är delaktiga i verksamheten. De poängterar även att kontakten med föräldrarna är viktig, och att man måste vara tydlig, då det kan vara språkförbistringar..

They wantedto, among other things, create an aesthetically but at the same time affordable alarm.The aesthetic theme is something that is missing in today?s market.

The E-department at GETRAG All Wheel Drive in Köping have problems with the efficiency on parts of their production equipment. The equipment with the most significant efficiency problems are four automated multifunctional production cells that produces housing for rear drive units. The major part of the problem is the large amount of small stops that causes the low efficiency.The department already worked with logging of interruptions and efficiency calculations before this project started. However this work was not done to the extent considered necessary for a systematic follow-up of the interruptions.The aim of this paper is to point out a more effective and systematic way to work with logging of interruptions and the follow-up. In addition the equipment were studied with a method for efficiency calculation that ? if used properly- is a more powerful and a visually better method than the one used by the company today.As the initial current state analysis of the equipment was made a lack of documented knowledge about the equipment was discovered.

Bakgrund: Hästar tillbringar större delen av sin tid i hage eller stall och här sker många skador, vilket är negativt för hästens välmående och välfärd. Det finns så vitt jag känner till ingen systematiserad forskning om inhysningsrelaterade skador i Sverige. Syfte: Att ta reda på var hästar skadar sig och varför de skadar sig, för att kunna förebygga dessa skador. Metod: Hästägare från många olika discipliner vars hästar skadat sig i stall eller hage de senaste tio åren intervjuades om skadescenarier, behandling, konvalescens och utgång. Resultat: Sexton hästägare intervjuades om sammanlagt 24 hästar. Skadorna uppstod i de flesta fall i hagen (20/24). Den vanligaste skadeorsaken var staket (8/24), följt av annan häst (5/24) och vasst föremål (2/24). I stallet orsakade boxvägg (1/24), boxdörr (1/24) och uppbindning/stallgång (1/24) skador.
