Syfte: Syftet med föreliggande studie var att beskriva hur förstagångsföräldrar upplevde den information, de råd och det stöd som de erhållit av BVC-sköterskan. Metod: Studien genomfördes genom personliga intervjuer med sex förstagångsföräldrar med barn under ett års ålder. De första informanterna rekryterades genom ett strategiskt urval i föräldragrupper på utvalda vårdcentraler i en norrländsk kommun och för att få fler informanter användes sedan snowball sampling. Intervjuerna genomfördes med hjälp av en intervjuguide med tre frågeområden om förstagångsföräldrars upplevelse av BVC-sköterskans råd, stöd och information. Intervjuerna analyserades och tolkades genom systematisk textkondensering enligt Malterud (2009).

This thesis deals with subject-based hierarchical search-services on the World Wide Web. The purpose is to investigate how systems of this kind facilitate information retrieval through subject-based information seeking. Its starting point is taken from the study of texts and qualitative analyses of search-services on the World Wide Web. Important aspects and features of the Internet and the World Wide Web are explained as well. Three systems are examined: Mölndals Stadsbiblioteks Länkkatalog, Svesök, and Alta Vista.

The aim of this Master thesis is to examine the institutionalization of Library- and Information Science in Sweden. I focus on the period 1978-1991, and pay special attention to the development of the discipline at the University College of Borås. My main method of investigation has been analysis of printed sources. After a brief description of the discipline and its history internationally, I describe how research and graduate education in Library- and Information Science developed in Sweden during the 20^th century. A major part of the thesis is an analysis of three reports from the chosen time period which are all, with slightly different prerequisites, trying to find a solution to the problem of how to establish Library- and Information Science as an academic discipline in Sweden.

Energy and LCC analyzes increases the ability to make conscious decisions in the process. A problem in the construction industry is that energy and LCC analysis is not used to the desired extent, as they are perceived as complicated and time consuming. The report aims to achieve a more sustainable building through increased use of energy and LCC analyzes.The goal is to show how BIM can be used to improve the efficiency of the energy and LCC analyzes.The study was conducted with a literature review and a case study to answer which information that is required in a BIM model to perform energy and LCC analyzes. The study also shows which software can be used in BIM based energy and LCC analyzes and how the analyzes can be carried out efficiently.The result shows that effective analyzes may be performed if the BIM-model contains the relevant information for making analyzes.

The aim of this master?s thesis is to examine how exchange students experience looking for information in their new life situation during a semester in Prague. A further purpose is to investigate what barriers they have faced and how this affected their information behavior. Six qualitative interviews of students constitute the empirical foundation for the study. During the past decade, consumer health information-centers have been developed at the hospital libraries in Sweden in order to meet the increasing demand from patients and their relatives concerning consumer health information. In 1993, the hospital libraries in Falun, Västervik and Karlstad launched a consumer health information database called PION. The aim of this Master's thesis is two-fold. My first aim is to describe and discuss the principles of user-oriented evaluation. In my attempt to convey the theoretical discussion into the everyday life of librarianship, my second and most important aim is to conduct a user-oriented evaluation of the database PION.

In order to analyse the texts and films on www.ams.se I have used tools from the modern rhetoric analysis. In the last part of my analysis I compared the results of the rhetoric analysis and the requests from the interviews to see if and how they match.Main Results: The respondents requested inspiration for their future work lives, and information that could de-dramatize the image of working. The texts on www.ams.seconsist mostly of facts, while the films made a slightly more emotional contribution to the image of the occupation. The films showing relaxed and satisfied people can be seen as a way to de-dramatize the image of working-life.

Aim: To describe perceptions about written and verbal information regarding diet and physical activity in women with breast cancer and to study possible differences between ages and perception. Method: A cross-sectional study was conducted and consisted of 57 women with breast cancer stages I-III who started adjuvant chemotherapy within a year (2007-2008). A questionnaire, regarding their perceptions about the written and verbal information they had received about diet and physical activity, was responded to three months following treatment completion. Between 67-93 % of the participants responded to the questions. The answers was analyzed with descriptive statistics and Mann Whitney U-test.

För att föräldrarna ska känna att de får stöd av sjuksköterskan, krävs att de får anpassad och lättillgänglig information om sitt barns sjukdom. Syftet med den här litteraturstudien är att belysa behovet av stöd, hjälp och information inom barncancersjukvården, ur både föräldrars och sjuksköterskors perspektiv. Både kvalitativa och kvantitativa artiklar användes.

During 2001-2002 a prototype, IMIS (Integrated Mobile Information System) was developed at BTH (Blekinge University of Technology) to demonstrate how mobile IT-systems can be used in healthcare. The prototype was based on the activity theory of Engeström. An ongoing project started in spring 2003. The purpose of the project is further development of IMIS with special focus in the diabetes healthcare. Participants in the project are scientists and students at BTH, ALMI Företagspartner, Blekinge FoU-enhet, Barndiabetesförbundet Blekinge, Blekinge Diabetesförening, Vårdcentralen Ronneby and Vårdcentralen Sölvesborg.

Ett av de största folkhälsoproblemen för både män och kvinnor är hjärt- kärlsjukdom. Varje år drabbas 26 000 personer och behöver vårdas på sjukhus. Idag är vårdtiden kort, ca 2-3 dagar och patienterna befinner sig ofta i chock efter sin hjärtinfarkt. Detta kan resultera i att de har svårt att ta till sig den information som ges. Patienterna behöver få insikt i att hjärt- kärlsjukdom är en kronisk sjukdom och vilka livsstilsförändringar som bör göras för att minska risken för att drabbas av ny hjärtinfarkt.

Syfte: Syftet med studien är att ta reda på hur lärarna upplever det stöd som elever i läs- och skrivsvårigheter har. Jag utgår då från frågorna: ? Hur ser lärare på läs-och skrivsvårigheter? ? Hur ser det nuvarande stödet ut? ? Vilket stöd önskar lärarna till elever i läs-och skrivsvårigheter?Teori: I teorin beskrivs de två huvudperspektiven som vi i Sverige har i specialpedagogiken: Det kategoriska och det relationella perspektivet. Det gör jag för att se om synen på läs-och skrivsvårigheter och det stöd som eleverna har är förankrat i någon av dem och vad det i så fall innebär i praktiken. I ett kategoriskt perspektiv ses eleven som ensam bärare till sina svårigheter medan det i ett relationellt perspektiv ses elevens svårigheter i ett samspel mellan elev, lärare och miljö (Persson, 2007).

Background: Municipalities are organizations facing a turbulent environment characterized by social, economical and political changes. It is the responsibility of the topleaders of the municipality (the municipal manager and the chairman of the local government board) to manage the situation and to make sure that the organization continuously develops. Purpose: To explain, from a leadership perspective, how the municipal topleaders'duties have developed during the past 25 years.
