AbstractMedia has since a long time back been writing about extensive thievery of recreational boats and their engines. The value of the stolen goods is estimated to several hundreds of million Swedish crowns per year. The widespread stealing creates a secondary market where boats sometimes are sold by sellers that do not have the rights to sell the boat. This creates risk for the buyer who most often is a private person. A situation the buyer can face is that the boat was stolen and that the original owner can demand to get the boat or engine back.

This essay explores how artwork in the public space can be analysed, conceptualized and described by bringing attention to site. Through an analysis of artworks in the yearly art exhibition of Fittja Open 2011, the essay draws attention to site-specific art and structures of power. The principal aim is to present not only the exhibition of Fittja Open 2011 but also other artwork in the public sphere in Fittja, a suburb to Stockholm. From this point of departure other interests evolve that concerns the "image" of Fittja. The analysis, based on research in art history, architecture, ethnology and philosophy as well as qualitative interviews, also focuses on understanding the role of site and the relations between art practice, institutions and site.The result shows that there are problems with a ruptured interface between the artwork and site.

The purpose of this study is to further develop the understanding of Nextopia, the belief that the next product will always be better, and the effects it has on Word of mouth, both oral (WOM) and electronic (eWOM), and investigate possible causes of this effect. This has been made through an experimental study of responses to two mineral water ads, with a manipulated time frame. First, this thesis supports the fact that there is a general Nextopia-effect on customers being exposed to a future product, which makes them evaluating the product higher in terms of feelings, attitude and intention. Further this study shows that there is also a Nextopia-effect on WOM and eWOM, by customers being more likely to recommend a future product rather than a current one. This propensity to recommend the product also has a relationship with responsibility, which correlates much stronger with WOM than eWOM.

The purpose of this paper is to analyse how work by Swedish artist Ylva Ogland (born in 1974) function as an eye-opener for the social marginalisation of people identified with homosexuality, prostitution and drug addiction. Although highly present in reality, these phenomena were historically, and are still today, hidden from view in public discourse. I have focused on the installations Rapture and Silence and Things Seen, and the still-life painting called Xenia. I argue that these artworks carefully represent the above-mentioned marginalised groups, by way of references to comparable motives in the history of art, from neoclassicism in France, to realism and romanticism..

This Master thesis is about elderly visually impaired and their use of libraries. It poses the question how visually impaired elderly looks upon their local library. Their thoughts and opinions are mainly from two sides. One is what they think about the service that they get. The other is what they think about the information concerning this service.

The aim of this study is to learn about the nineteenth century poor relief system, how itoperated in the rural parish Kristdala during the period 1881-1890, and not least, who was thesupported person? The poor are defined as the individuals that received public poor relief, but in onechapter this definition of poverty is contrasted with a definition based upon tax exemption:inability to pay taxes. Two villages have been selected for intensive study, namely Kroxhult and Calerum, and Calerum is the smaller one. The connection between age and the poverty ratio is clear, and tobe a lodger was especially disadvantageous with respect to poverty. Further the position ofwidow was the most unfavourable among the female poor people.

Allt fler patienter väljer att vårdas hemma då den kurativa behandlingen övergår till palliativ vård och många av dessa har diagnosen cancer. Detta ställer stora krav på hemsjukvården då man i hemmet är berättigad till samma kvalificerade vård som bedrivs på sjukhus. Närstående har en ansvarsfull roll i vårdandet och det är viktigt att sjuksköterskan har förståelse av närståendes upplevelser för att kunna bemöta och stötta dem på ett kompetent sätt. Syftet med denna uppsats är att belysa hur närstående upplever det att vårda en cancerdrabbad person i hemmet, i livets slut. Vi har gjort en kvalitativ innehållsanalys där vi har analyserat åtta artiklar med kvalitativ ansats.

The digital printing market is changing faster now than before and the ability to adjust to newsituations has become more importat to a printing company. An efficient internal communicationis essential. At Elanders Digitaltryck a decision was made in august 2002 to look over the shiftworking system for the printer operators. In this paper, an investigation of the possibilities tochange the existing system to a better one was made.The project resultet in four different timetabels. The construction was based on theoretical studiesand an analysis of the current situation at the workplace.

Personer med afasi får sin språkförmåga nedsatt på flera olika sätt vilket kan försvåra för dem att delta i samtal. De kan då använda sig av olika strategier för att hantera dessa problem. En sådan strategi är skratt. Denna uppsats syftar till att studera hur personer med afasi använder sig av skratt vid vardaglig interaktion. Föreliggande studie har utgått från videofilmer där en kvinna med afasi interagerar med olika personer i olika miljöer.

Stroke är en neurologisk sjukdom som medför svåra konsekvenser både för personen som genomgått stroke och för dennes närstående. Att vara närstående till någon som genomgått stroke innebär stora förändringar i livssituationen. Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att beskriva upplevelser av att vara närstående till en person som genomgått stroke. Fjorton vetenskapliga studier analyserades med kvalitativ innehållsanalys med manifest ansats och detta resulterade i fem kategorier: förlust av det liv som en gång varit; behoven hos personen som genomgått stroke kommer i första hand; osäkerhet inför framtiden; en kamp för att hantera situationen samt trots allt ser framtiden ljus ut. Det är viktigt att uppmärksamma närstående och dennes behov när en familjemedlem genomgått stroke.

Ett led i rättsskipningsapparaten är möjligheten för polis och åklagare att använda sig av straffprocessuella tvångsmedel i syfte dels att möjliggöra en ordentlig utredning och dels att överhuvud taget kunna beivra brott. De regler som reglerar användandet av dessa tvångsmedel återfinns bl a i 24 kap RB och innebär en avvägning mellan samhällets krav på en effektiv brottsbekämpning och den enskildes krav på integritet och rättssäkerhet. Dessa maktmedel är till sin natur ingripande i den enskildes rättssfär och de uppfattas inte sällan som integritetskränkande av den berörda parten. Trots att denne i viss mån kan ha fog för sin uppfattning har de straffprocessuella tvångsmedlen en stor betydelse för att en effektiv straffprocess ska kunna genomföras.En grundläggande förutsättning för att kunna lagföra, döma och straffa en person som har begått ett brott är att dennes identitet är känd. Vi måste med andra ord veta vem det är som lagförs, döms och straffas.

High housing- and construction costs is a fact in Sweden today. Prices on building materials more rapidly than producer price index for industrial goods. Prices tend to rise during market boom but does not adapt during diminishing demand. The effects of fading demand can rather be deduced through discounts and quotations. During 1992-1998 when the Swedish construction sector found it self in severe crisis the prices of construction materials kept rising more rapidly than PPI for industrial merchandise.

The traditional view of maintenance is machine-based, where acute maintenance tasks are highly valued. Preventive maintenance is viewed as secondary and less desirable to work with. The more modern view is to regard maintenance as a process. The machine-driven tasks are still necessary but are viewed as a part of the big picture.The purpose of this study is to examine how to high light general difficulties concerning maintenance management to aid organizations to reflecting upon their own situation. The study is based upon a pilot study initiated by ProcessIT concerning relevant key figures in maintenance.

Pyometra (chronic purulent uterine inflammation) is a common disease in middle-aged and older intact bitches. The disease most frequently occurs in metoestrus and previous research studies have shown that both hormones and bacteria are involved in the development of the disease. Analysis of the blood levels of prostaglandin metabolite 15-keto-13,14-dihydro-PGF2? (PG-metabolite) has previously been shown to be clinically useful in the differentiation of canine uterine diseases such as pyometra and mucometra. The PG-metabolite concentration has also been correlated to severity in pyometra as determined by hospitalisation length. The purpose of the present study was to investigate if blood levels of PG-metabolite can differentiate uterine diseases such as pyometra from other diseases in female dogs.

Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att beskriva hur det är att vara närstående till person med Parkinson sjukdom och att ta reda på hur sjukdomens karaktär påverkar närstående. När någon i familjen drabbas av en kronisk sjukdom drabbas inte bara den sjuke utan hela familjen. Det är viktigt att sjuksköterskan får bättre förståelse och försöker uppmärksamma de närståendes upplevelser och behov. Artiklarna analyserades med kvalitativ innehållsanalys med manifest ansats. Analysen resulterade i tre huvudkategorierier: Att vara närstående, Copingstrategier som närstående använder i samband med vård av person med Parkinsons sjukdom samt Stöd till närstående/ underlättande faktorer. Resultatet synliggör närståendes svåra situation präglat av sorg, ekonomisk förlust, oro, depression, fysisk trötthet samt aktivitetsbegränsning. Behovet av stöd och information var påtagligt och ansågs som en viktig del av sjuksköterskans roll..
