The focus of this master thesis is the library politics of the French Right wing party the National Front and the debate that followed the application of this politics. This qualitative study is divided into two parts where the critics to this politics represents one side and the adherents the other. The critics are composed by representatives from the French, Swedish and ? to some extent ? international library sector, while the adherent side is made up of politicians from the National Front and their adherents. The empiric material mostly consists of articles published in library, Right wing and daily press.

The aim of this master?s thesis is to examine which ideas about the public library that appear in a selection of municipal library plans and to examine if these ideas are unanimous. The comprehensive questions are: Which ideas about the public library appear in each municipal library plan? How do the ideas agree in the different municipal library plans? The sub questions are: Which judgements of reality appear in the different library plans concerning each municipality and its library needs? How do the municipalities define the concept of development and future demands in the municipality on the basis of the judgements of reality? Which recommendations do the judgements of reality give and how is the plan of action that is established in each library plan justified? Which fundamental views of reality, i. e.

Denna studie behandlar en alternativ pedagogik och belyser ett alternativt arbetsätt till den kommunala skolan. Den pedagogik som behandlas är waldorfpedagogiken och den avhandlas allmänt och med en enskild del som är riktad mot waldorfskolans sätt att arbeta med matematikundervisningen i de lägre åldrarna. Waldorfskolans bakgrund och tankar beskrivs och även dess metodik och undervisningsinnehåll. En djupare studie i en alternativ pedagogik kan utveckla synen på undervisningsmetoder och få tips på hur man kan lägga upp undervisningen. Ett annat syfte är att skapa en förståelse varför waldorfpedagogerna arbetar som dom gör.

Denna uppsats behandlar lärarkårens nationalismunder perioden 1882-1914. Dess syfte är att undersöka hur lärarkåren underdenna period ansåg att man bäst förmedlade nationell fostran och vad dennafostran borde innebära. Med hjälp av den tidigare forskningen på området somofta behandlar skolans roll och funktion inom nationalistisk fostran så har jagtagit mig an att undersöka hur lärarkåren själva uttryckt denna sin roll ochuppgift genom sitt dåtida fackorgan SvenskLäraretidning. De teorier som jag stöder mig på har framföralltpresenterats av författarna Eric Hobsbawm och Herbert tingsten. Den förre harbeskrivit ingående hur nationalism, patriotism och fosterlandskärlek bildas ochvad de stöder sig på, den senare har mer ingående beskrivit processen i Sverigeoch i förhållande till skolväsendet.

In which purpose, for who and when does equality get fullfilled in the education system? This studie takes aim on the upper level and second upper level school system to study what the curriculum says on the one hand and what the system brings out on the other. With critical theory as method, with Herbert tingsten as founder, this studie analyzes the logic of the education system to set out if the pupils choice of education, after the upper level lower secondary school, in second upper level is legit with democratic principles such as freedom (of choice). The theory, used to analyze the individuals progress to be autonomous, uses Adam Swifts definition of freedom as an individual being autonomous. The findings of the study shows that what politicians chases as equality really i´snt equality.

The purpose of this essay is to critically review Pierre Bourdieus contribution to agency ? structure debate. I will do this with help from the thinking of George Herbert Mead. My aim is to show that Mead can provide valuable knowledge to Bourdieus theory.Pierre Bourdieus notion of habitus is his solution to the dilemma between agency and structure. It is in the habitus that the objective structures meet the inner, subjective structures and this results in various actions.

The aim of this Master?s thesis is to examine how librarians in two Swedish public libraries view the subject of face-front marketing and literary hierarchy. The questions posed in this thesis are: How do two public libraries in Sweden market fictional literature? Which literature does get marketed? How do the librarians view fictional literature? How do the librarians view marketing? and Does Herbert Gans? literary scale work to examine the marketing of fictional literature in two Swedish public libraries? The theoretical starting-points are Niels Ole Pors? thoughts on stock development, Philip Kotler?s thoughts on the responsible non-profit organisation and Herbert Gans? thoughts on taste-publics and taste-cultures. The empirical material was gathered through qualitative interviews with library staff in two public libraries in the south of Sweden, and by reading a sample of the fictional literature exposed in these libraries.

Syftet med studien var att undersöka hur individer, som fått en ADHD-diagnos i vuxen ålder, idag beskriver sin och omgivningens interaktion under livets gång, i huvudsak med fokus på självbild.Studiens datainsamlingsmetod var semistrukturerade intervjuer. Under bearbetningen av intervjumaterialet skapades ett övergripande tema kallat självbild, omgivning & ADHD. Materialet har även brytits ner i kategorier och underkategorier. Resutatet analyserades med utgångspunkt i George Herbert Mead och Herbert Blumers symboliska interaktionism samt Erving Goffmans teoribildning om Stigma.Resultatet visar att alla informanter sett det som övervägande positivt att få diagnosen ADHD och att alla var öppna med att prata om sin ADHD-diagnos med andra. Resultatet visar även att alla känt sig "dumma" under uppväxten samt att skolmiljön inte varit anpassad för dem.

När Fröbel var verksam gick han metodiskt tillväga genom att tillhandahålla barnen varsin griffeltavla. Fröbels metod kan idag anses, som mycket lärarstyrd. Under 1950- talet fick Herbert Reads tankar sitt genombrott. Barnen fick då ett fritt sätt att arbeta på. Det var alltså ett fritt skapande som förelåg.

In order to study how science and archeology was exploited for political means during the Third Reich this thesis investigates the scientific institute Ahnenerbe, founded in 1935. The thesis is built up as a literature study combining literature sources from the time of the eventas well as research done around Ahnenerbe after the war.The purpose of the thesis is to examine the official and unofficial purposes of the organisation. It investigates how scholars viewed Ahnenerbe at the time, and after the war. It further examines the scientific value of the material published by the organisation, where there is a specific focus on the material covering Germanic Männerbunds..

Denna studie bygger på en enkätundersökning av 80 stycken grundskolepedagoger från två kommuner i Östergötlands län. En totalundersökning har gjorts vilket innebär att samtliga pedagoger i kommunerna ingår. Syftet med studien är att undersöka vilka faktorer som påverkar grundskolepedagogers benägenhet att fullgöra sitt ansvar gentemot anmälningsskyldigheten som stadgas i 14 kap 1 § socialtjänstlagen (2001:453). De faktorer som undersöks har delats upp i tre delar, organisationsstrukturella faktorer, individuella bakgrundsfaktorer och faktorer i det enskilda fallet därtro om att en elev far illa finns. Vidare avser studien att undersöka om det finns några skillnader i pedagogernas inställning till socialtjänsten samt benägenhet beroende av om den kommun pedagogen arbetar i har deltagit i samverkansprojekt riktat mot skola och socialtjänst eller inte.
