Abstract Title: Coaching Leadership - A win-win situation? Level: Final assignment for Master Degree in Business Administration Author: Helena Gustafsson Supervisor: Pär Vilhelmson Date: 2012 ? mars Aim: The purpose of this study is to examine how companies use the coaching leadership and how the employees perceive to have a manager who uses this way to lead. Method: The study was conducted as a qualitative study in which interviews was an important feature. The information I gathered is the basis for analysis and final discussion. The material has been collected through personal interviews with two managers and then I send questions to the employees by e-mail that they responded. This is to get such an interesting empirical data as possible.

Denna rapport handlar om en användbarhetsutvärdering av synthesizern OP-1, utvecklad av företaget Teenage Engineering. Studien är kvalitativ och undersöker bara den omedelbara användarupplevelsen av produkten. Rapporten baseras på resultat från ett antal användbarhetstester, utförda på företaget i fråga. Användbarhetstesterna avser att undersöka hur en användare kan förstå hur OP-1:s kan användas och hur de kan förstår dess olika lägen och vidare på vilket sätt detta påverkar den initiala användarupplevelsen.Totalt nio av fjorton tillfrågade personer har ingått i användbarhetstesterna. Urvalsgruppen bestod av personer med tidigare, dock varierande mängd, erfarenhet av synthesizers.

Root rot causes large economical losses for Swedish forestry. The spread of root rot can partly be prevented by treating the spruce stumps in thinnings. Late pre-commercial thinning (PCT) is one of the forestry measures where stump treatment is not used. Late PCT can be defined as: The act of cleaning the stand with the aim of improving accessibility and sight within the stand, and so to increase the mean stem´s volume during the first conventional thinning. The aim of this study was to examine how late PCT is performed, its spatial extent and if it aids the spreading of root rot. The study was limited to encompass late PCT before first conventional thinnings in spruce stands in southern Sweden. Samples of spruce stumps were taken from four stands where late PTC had been carried out.

Smittan finns i blod, sädesvätska och slidvätska och smittar därför via sexuellt umgänge av alla dess slag samt via blod till blodkontakt exempelvis vid intravenöst missbruk. Ute i samhället bildades tidigt en negativ uppfattning om sjukdomen, och de som har drabbats av den, som än idag sitter kvar. Detta trots att det har gått snart 30 år sedan sjukdomen fick sitt stora genombrott.Syfte: Syftet med studien var att belysa vårdpersonals och studenters/elevers attityder mot patienter med HIV.Metod: Metoden var en systematisk litteraturstudie med artikelsökningar i databaserna PubMed, Cinahl och sökmotorn Google Scholar. 11 artiklar valdes ut för kvalitetsgranskning, totalt nio artiklar analyserades sedan och utgör studiens resultat.

BakgrundI dagsläget lever ungefär 6500 personer med sjukdomen humant immunbristvirus (hiv) i Sverige, det rapporteras 400-500 nya fall per år. Viruset bryter ner kroppens immunförsvar och vid smitta uppenbaras därför infektionsliknande symtom. Hiv påträffas i samtliga kroppsvätskor och överförs via sexuell kontakt, blod och blodprodukter, via vävnads- och organtransplantationer samt från mor till barn vid graviditet och amning. Sjukdomen är idag obotlig, behandlingen utgörs av antivirala tabletter som tas dagligen livet ut. Obehandlat leder hiv till sjukdomen aids.

The health care system in most western countries is undergoing rapid changes with an increasing amount of people living with chronic cancer. These people have to deal with their disease in every day life together with working and family life. The relationship between health services and every day life has changed and raises new requirements. Earlier research has shown that maintaining every day life is important for cancer patients and their families. This study comprised patients with lymphoma receiving their diagnosis during 2003 ? 2005.

AbstractBackground. The need for drugs delegation is increasing as more and more sick people are cared for at home and too few nurses working in home health care. Because of this, the number of delegations per nurse is often unacceptably high.Aim. The aim of this study was to describe the public health nurses´ experience in drugs delegation to home care staff in home care.Method. In this study a qualitative method with an inductive approach was used.

To get a good economy on the dairy farms the fertility control of heifers and cows is a crucial factor. It is also important to know which key parameters that should be tracked. In this work well established routines for heat detection have to be applied. When the dairy farmers use technical aid in estrus control it is important not to forget that technical aids can not replace the human eye. Approximately 50 % of all opportunities to inseminate are missed because clear signs of estrus have not been displayed and/or recorded. The cattle fertility has been declining over recent years. During the same time the cow?s proceeds have increased, consequently applying a higher pressure on the cow and the manager.

This study was made in an attempt to give the forest research centre Mógilsá a producedtetratherm map and a better understanding of how topography and temperature influencethe growth of two tree species. The digital tetratherm map model, covering the northernpart of Iceland, was developed to investigate the correlation between tetratherm and thegrowth of Picea sitchensis and Larix (sukaczewii + sibirica). The study confirms theusefulness of digital terrain models in providing data for a lot of different factors and forthe tetratherm model. Hopefully will this tetratherm map be used in future studies.Secondly, investigations were made correlating the growth of the two species againsttopographic factors representing height above sea level, distance to the sea, slope andtopex. Thirdly, investigations were made comparing the aspect and the ground shape tothe growth.The growth rate of Larix had strong significant correlations to the tetratherm and thedistance to the sea- factors.

This study focuses on the Nordic model of Extended Collective Licenses (ECL) and how this model can be used in the process of digitalising and publishing archival material such as photos, letters, maps or films. The question that this study aims to deal with is what advantages, and disadvantages, there are for archives and copyright holders when an ECL is being used. To help answering this question the ?theory of the knowledge commons? has been applied. The research question has been answered through a text analysis based on legal texts including Swedish law.

Antalet personer med blodsmitta ökar både globalt men även i Sverige. De vanligaste sjukdomarna orsakade av blodsmitta är Hepatit B (HBV), Hepatit C (HCV) och Humant immunbristvirus (HIV). Bemötandet från vårdpersonal är viktigt för att patienten ska få en positiv upplevelse av vården och sjuksköterskan har till uppgift att ge en god vård på lika villkor till hela befolkningen. Stigmatisering är kopplat till begreppet stigma som innebär en egenskap som avviker från våra normer på ett negativt sätt och leder till att en person inte accepteras i det sociala samspelet. Syftet med denna studie var att beskriva den samlade kunskapen kring stigmatisering hos personer med blodsmitta i vårdsituationer.

Vår studie baseras på en kvalitativ undersökning. Syftet är att ta reda på indiska ungdomarserfarenheter av sexuell och reproduktiv hälsa utifrån sexualundervisning som den indiskaicke-statliga organisationen (NGO) MAMTA implementerat. Detta då sexualundervisninginte är en del av utbildningsväsendet i Indien. Vi vill även undersöka hur lärare på en skolaoch hur professionella på MAMTA resonerar kring samma ämne. De metoder vi använder förvår datainsamling är fokusgrupper med ungdomar och enskilda intervjuer med deprofessionella på MAMTA och lärare på skolan.
