AbstractBackground The importance of establishing well-functioning parent-teacher relationships are clear objectives in the Swedish National Curriculum for Preschools, (Lpfö 98, Lpo 94 & Lgr 11 chapter 1-2). Parental involvement in preschool activities is seen as important for several reasons. Facilitating healthy child development, learning and socialisation are some of these reasons. During the past twenty years Sweden has become a multicultural society. Today, people from more than 170 countries live in Sweden, and about 18% of the population are first or second generation immigrants.

Hemoplus® (Sarstedt, Nümbrecht, Tyskland) is a guaiac-based fecal occult blood test developed for human medicine. Guaiac-based tests make use of the pseudoperoxidase activity of hemoglobin so the test is not specific for human hemoglobin and can therefore be used in veterinary medicine. Peroxidase-containing foods such as meat (hemoglobin and myoglobin) can cause false-positive results of the test. To ensure that a positive result is not caused by diet, it has been suggested that canine patients should be fed a meatless diet for a few days prior to fecal occult blood testing. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of commercial dog food on guaiac-based tests. In this study fecal samples from healthy dogs were analyzed with Hemoplus®.

SyfteSyftet med den här studien var att kartlägga det upplevda ät- och träningsbeteendet hos studenter på en hälsoinriktad högskoleutbildning. Ytterligare ett syfte var att få en större förståelse för hur olika ät- och träningsbeteenden inklusive tendenser till Ortorexi samvarierar med den självupplevda hälsan- Hur ser det upplevda ät- och träningsbeteende ut hos studenterna?- Vilka skillnader i ät- och träningsbeteende finns mellan årskurserna på den hälsoinriktade utbildningen?- Vilka samband finns mellan det fysiska och psykiska hälsotillståendet och ät- och träningsbeteendet?- Hur stor andel av studenterna har ett spänt förhållningssätt till kost och träning enligt Bratmans test?MetodDetta är en kvantitativ studie där enkätundersökning använts som datainsamlingsmetod. Ett riktat bekvämlighetsurval gjordes på målgruppspopulationen och urvalsgruppen kom att bestå av 100 stycken studenter från en hälsoinriktad högskoleutbildning. Enkäten utformades efter ett redan befintligt test, Bratmans Ortorexitest.

Bakgrund Forskningen om lärares arbetssituation har mestadels utgått från det patogena synsättet och identifierat problem och riskfaktorer. Därför behövs det mer salutogen forskning som lyfter fram hälsoskapande faktorer och uppmärksammar samt ger underlag för att utveckla goda arbetssätt och arbetsformer. Dessa kan sedan underlätta arbetet och därigenom förbättra hälsan och välbefinnandet i arbetslivet för lärare. Syfte Syftet med studien var att utifrån teorin om känsla av sammanhang (KASAM) identifiera arbetsrelaterade faktorer och processer som lärare uppfattar som stärkande och hälsofrämjande. Metod Tre fokusgruppsintervjuer, varav en i en gymnasieskola och två i en grundskola i södra Sverige, genomfördes med sammanlagt tio lärare. Materialet analyserades med deduktiv innehållsanalys med teorin om känsla av sammanhang som analysmatris. Resultat Arbetsrelaterade specifikt stärkande resurser för lärare har identifierats och analyserats in i KASAM-teorins tre komponenter begriplighet, hanterbarhet och meningsfullhet. Meningsfullhet finns inbyggd i lärarnas uppdrag.

Malassezia otitis in dogs is a common cause of visit to a veterinary service. In otitis externa due to Malassezia overgrowth the dog has a higher number of yeast organisms and/or a local inflammatory response to the micro organism. Calculations of energy, noise and moisture riskassessment has been carried out.The work has resulted in the conclusion that the lightweight concrete itself is notable to isolate in the extent necessary to obtain chosen U-value of 0,1 W/m2 ° C,without getting to thick. Therefore additional insulation is needed. There are fewrelevant reference objects built with only light weight concrete.

Most of the beef production in Sweden has been integrated with milk production. Since the 1990:s, the number of dairy cows has decreased. A specialised beef production has developed in purpose to compensate for this decrease. Bakgrund: En familj som lever med ett barn som har autismspektrumtillstånd påverkar dem och hela deras livssituation. Barnet behöver särskilt stöd av föräldrarna under hela deras levnadsår. Barn med autismspektrumtillstånd är personer som har individuella behov och dessa kan variera stort. Enligt tidigare studier som inkluderats i denna litteraturstudie framkom det att dessa individuella behov kan ha negativ påverkan på föräldrarna. Autismspektrumtillstånd är en neuropsykiatrisk funktionsnedsättning där personen har ett annorlunda sätt att ta in, bearbeta och tolka information.
