Syfte: undersöka och jämföra eventuella skillnader i upplevelse av delaktighet och livskvalitet hos två grupper av människor med para- eller tetraplegi. En grupp har medverkat på rekryteringsgruppens läger och den andra gruppen har inte varit på något läger men antagits till nästa.Design: Statisk gruppjämförelse av två grupper där den ena har genomgått ett läger av rekryteringsgruppen.Metod: Elva män och kvinnor med ryggmärgsskada medverkade i studien. Upplevd delaktighet och livskvalitet hos deltagarna undersöktes med instrumenten Reintegration to Normal Living (RNL) och The Spinal Cord Injury Quality of Life Questionaire (SCI QL-23). Resultat: De som deltagit på lägret skattade högre delaktighet på åtta av de elva frågorna. De skattade också högre siffror på den del av SCI QL-23 om livskvalitet som handlade om uppskattad fysisk och social funktion.Slutsats: Man kunde se tendenser på att delaktigheten skattats högre av dem som deltagit på rekryteringsgruppens läger.

The aim of this study was to document treatments of sick and injured reindeer in Tornedalen and the area around Gällivare. I also wanted to find out the basis for the treatments, how they are considered to work and if they agree with established veterinary science. The occurrence of ?folk remedies? was especially studied. In all, 40 reindeer owners were interviewed.

GNT Group is a Nordic/Baltic wholesaler that distributes products in the IT, entertainment and home electronics sector. GNT is facing problems with inaccurate inventory levels which can lead to unnecessarily high inventory carrying costs or lost sales. Diet is mentioned by many seamen as a subject of joy and aims to give nutritional value and sufficient energy to manage a long working day at sea. The purpose with this investigation is to examine if there is a need among seamen to receive more information about diet regulations onboard and if they wish that it was shaped differently to meet their demands. The study is based on a literature part where diet regulations are examined and an interview part with semi structured qualitative interviews with five seamen. The conclusion of the study indicates that seamen have limited knowledge about the enunciation of the regulation, where it is to be found and consider it to be imprecise. Interviews showed that seamen believe that variety is the most important factor in diet intake and it was this expression that they primarily wanted stated in the regulations.

The goal with this study have been to investigate how teachers in physical education perceive health as a concept, and how they choose to work with in the classes they teach. Health as a concept can be somewhat diffuse and as the Swedish curriculum doesn?t define the concept the teacher are given a freedom in interpreting what health is and how it will be taught to the students. This makes it interesting to study if teachers perceive health differently and if that affect what they are teaching their students.I used interviews as a method to answer my questions and the results show that there wasn?t much difference between the teachers in how they perceive health and how, and what, they teach their students.

Increasing immigration to Sweden has transformed a culturally homogeneous society into a more heterogeneous one. As a consequence intercultural communication and interaction have been increasing. Child health care agencies have encountered these increases. The aim of this study was to examine what the health care professionals experienced and communicated in these intercultural environments. Eight interviews with child health care nurses were carried through at four child health care centers in the south of Sweden.

There I was given the opportunity to meet different personalities and take part in their stories and everyday life. I have followed this life and collected memories and in this project I have portrayed an older generation, now looked upon only as crumbs, yet crumbs that in many ways rested on and still rests on society today..

Abstract"The Care of Work" is a study whose background comes from the problems surrounding work-life balance and equality that permeates social debates today. The problematic work-life-balance and gender equality are just as relevant today as they were 35 years ago. The aim of the study was to investigate whether or not men and women have a satisfactory work-life balance and if the organization they work for is doing something to make their life puzzles function. Last, but not least, the purpose is to see if gender equality is in the interest of the individual or the state.The study is based on work-life balance, gender equality and gender as the theoretical frames of reference. Eight respondents, four men and four women, from established IT companies were interviewed.
