HPV är en grupp av över 100 olika virustyper varav 40 kan infektera könsorganen. Dessa virus orsakar den vanligaste sexuellt överförbara infektionen i Sverige och även i övriga världen. Personer med kvarstående HPV-infektion har en ökad risk att på sikt få cellförändringar och cancer, framför allt livmoderhalscancer. HPV-typ 16 och 18 är de typer som oftast orsakar livmoderhalscancer (omkring 70 % av fallen). Införandet av program för regelbundna gynekologiska cellprovskontroller har under de senaste 40 åren minskat insjuknandet i livmoderhalscancer med drygt 60 procent i Sverige.

Hälsosamma kostvanor och regelbunden fysisk aktivitet har visat sig vara viktiga beståndsdelar i förebyggandet och behandlingen av flertalet sjukdomar. Människors uppfattningar har visat sig vara av vikt i förändringen mot en mer hälsosam livsstil. Syftet med studien är att kartlägga uppfattningar bland vuxna invånare i Göteborgs kommun, med avseende på kost- respektive motionsvanornas betydelse för såväl den personliga risken, som allmänhetens risk att drabbas av sju livsstilsrelaterade sjukdomstillstånd. Enkäter valdes som forskningsmetod i syfte att samla in kvantitativa data från 180 individer i tre av Göteborgs kommuns tio stadsdelar. Resultaten visade att tron på livsstilens inverkan på sjukdomsriskerna, generellt sett, var stor men varierade beroende på sjukdomstillstånd.

This study investigated how banner ads, depending on its quality and placement,can capture a user's attention while searching for editorial content in an online newspaper. Furthermore, the user's search strategy was also studied to see whether it varied depending on the placement of an ad. An experiment was conducted where 20 subjects searched for articles in a Swedish online newspaper while their eye ovement was recorded with a headmounted eye?tracker. In each search task the online newspaper contained either a low quality ad or a high quality ad.

BakgrundFatigue är ett begrepp som beskriver trötthet som påverkar den drabbades dagliga liv negativt. I samband med en cancerbehandling drabbas i stort sett alla patienter av fatigue i olika grad. När sedan behandlingen är slutförd kvarstår problemet med trötthet, och behov finns av rehabilitering som syftar till att patienten ska återgå till en normal nivå av trötthet. Antalet patienter som överlever sin cancerbehandling ökar och då även deras behov av rehabilitering. Därför behöver sjukvården se till hela familjens behov och ge dem stöd och hjälp för att kunna hantera situationen. Syfte: Syftet med litteraturstudien var att beskriva föräldrarnas upplevelse och reaktion när deras barn får en cancerdiagnos samt vilka strategier de använder sig av för att hantera det. Metod: I denna litteraturstudie ingår 14 stycken artiklar varav 12 stycken är kvalitativa och 2 stycken är kvantitativa som granskades och sammanställdes. Resultat: Föräldrarna reagerade på diagnosen med stor sorg, rädsla och ångest.

The object of this paper is to examine the marketing of PUNKTmedis, a youth library. In order to do so we have looked at two different perspectives; how the library has marketed itself towards its target group, and how young people perceive what PUNKTmedis has to offer. The thesis? foundation is a case study. Since the question at hand concerns the library?s intentions with and execution of its marketing efforts, as well as the target group?s opinion of them, the empirical data is based partially on an interview with the head of marketing at PUNKTmedis, and partially on a target group questionnaire.

The aim of this thesis is to investigate how libraries market themselves in social media and why they do it. I have studied a certain public library?s process of introducing social media into its marketing mix, the preparations for this process and the effects of these marketing methods.The theoretical framework for this thesis is based on relationship marketing, a theory which focuses on relationships, networks and interaction. My main method has been semi-structured interviews with a librarian at the relevant library, with the manager of the library and with the head of the municipality?s department of communication.The results of my studies show that marketing on social media is a positive and important thing for libraries.

The purpose of this Bachelor thesis is to investigate which rolesthe mobile library has to its users in a small community in Sweden.To reach this purpose I have focused on the following two researchquestions:? Which are the different functions, social, cultural, educational orinformation-based, that the mobile library offers its users andwhich of these are used in reality?? What purposes are there for the mobile library and how it is usedby it?s visitors?To answer these questions I have interviewed four users of amobile library and I have held e-mail interviews with librarians incharge of a mobile library as well as the head of the department ofculture and peoples health in the community.
