I början av juni 2003 lämnade Brasilien, Thailand och Australien in en anmälan till World Trade Organisation (WTO) med EU:s sockerpolitik som utgångspunkt. Drygt ett år senare, den 14 juli 2004, presenterade den Europeiska Kommissionen ett förslag på en genomgripande omarbetning av EU:s sockerordning. Uppsatsens syfte är att undersöka effekterna av Europeiska Kommissionens reformförslag på sockerindustrin i de nordiska medlemsländerna, med den nuvarande sockerpolitikens påverkan på dessa länder som bakgrund. Sockerindustrin i Danmark, Sverige och Finland har olika förutsättningar inför en reformering och kommer således att drabbas olika, men framtiden ser inte så ljus ut för de nordiska medlemsländerna. Sockerindustrin i Finland kommer med stor sannolikhet att slås ut och näringen i Sverige och Danmark kommer att få det något svårare på längre sikt..

Syftet med den här studien var att belysa förutsättningarna för kvinnor respektive män att komma tillbaka till arbetslivet efter långtidssjukskrivning samt att utskilja likheter och skillnader mellan de som har kommit ut i arbetslivet igen och de som inte har gjort det. För att få svar på detta har 6 långtidssjukskrivna personer som bor i Norrbotten intervjuats under våren och sommaren 2006. Detta är en kvalitativ studie och slutsatserna av studien bygger på analysen av intervjuerna, sociologiska teorier och på tidigare forskning i ämnen som anknyter till studien. Resultatet visar på att rehabiliteringsutredningen och de åtgärder som följer på den har stor betydelse för att personer som är långtidssjukskrivna ska komma ut i arbetslivet igen. Den andra slutsatsen av studien är att individens egen livssituation, personlighet och drivkraft har stor betydelse för att de som är långtidssjukskrivna ska komma tillbaka till arbetslivet.

Background:Persons living with a mental illness often have to put up with a financial disadvantage. Their ability to work is often limited and because of that they have to rely on the welfare reform to get an income. This income is often low compared to other citizens which by itself is something strongly associated with mental illness. Purpose: The purpose in this study was to describe how people living with a mental illness experience that their economic situation has an impact on their daily life. Method: This study is a literature review containing nine scientific articles from previous research.

I november 2009 avreglerades det svenska apoteksmonopolet för vissa receptfria smärtstillande läkemedel. Syftet med avregleringen var att skapa ökad konsumentnytta genom konkurrens. Potentiella fördelar var en effektivare apoteksmarknad med ökad tillgänglighet, bättre service och ett ökat produktutbud. Konsumtionen hos de aktiva substanserna paracetamol, ibuprofen och acetylsalicylsyra undersöks i denna studie. Eventuella konsumtionsförändringar i samband med reformen diskuteras utifrån resultat av ett Chow test.

After W.W. II the Social democratic government wanted to modernize and rationalize the Swedish society. The university system was reformed[INS: :INS] to support growth of industry and science. But the reform did not reach Swedish academic library system and it was not well organized. The aim of this thesis is to analyze the reaction of the Swedish academic libraries to the new era in the framework of ideological criticism.

This bachelor thesis is studying the INTERREG cooperation between Denmark and Germany, and if there has been a change to the organization and the individual conditions due to the Danish regional reform in 2007. The research method used is semi-structured interviews and the participants are a mixture of politicians and civil servants. The study is based on two themes, change in work routines and cooperation, and change in visions and targets.The participants have experienced change, both positive and negative, in work routines and cooperation and to a lesser extent in visions and targets. Preparation is the key to success and makes the transition much easier, which has been the case for Denmark. Other mentioned aspects are more work due to more complicated applications, and that the politicians so far lack a regional perspective and tend to stick to the local.

This thesis deals with how natural resource teachers in natural resource schools in Sweden work with entrepreneurial learning and entrepreneurship. It is important both for our Government and our agricultural department that entrepreneurship is present in our education. In government´s new reform 2011 for upper secondary schools entrepreneurship is the main theme, but it is not only entrepreneurship as a business company, it is also about entrepreneurship in schools like entrepreneurial capabilities in government´s writ. The purpose of this study is to examine how a number of teachers in natural resource schools are working with entrepreneurial learning and entrepreneurship. I have also asked how the teachers would like to work with these areas.The method I have chosen to use in order to perform this study is qualitative interviews with six natural resource teachers and a pilote interview.The teachers I interviewed are working to provide students with self-knowledge and teaches students to see possibilities and solve problems, which is required for us to create entrepreneurial students and entrepreneurship in education. This paper takes it points of departure in a gender equality perspective and the perceived paradox between the governmental labour market policy and family policy. The first policy area has the aim to put people to work, whereas the other introduces a reform, vårdnadsbidraget, that point in the opposite direction. Which are the problem representations within the two policy areas and are the problem representations concordant or contradictive? From a constructivist perspective, langue is closely related to power through defining and ascribing meaning to reality. Drawing on political documents, speeches and articles formulated within the government, this paper analyzes problem representations through the use of discourse analysis and feminist political theory.

This thesis uses the ?What's the problem?-approach developed by Carol LeeBacchi. This approach studies how the problem that a certain policy is supposedto take care of is represented. Each representation will rest upon certainassumptions and will accordingly support certain solutions while other solutionswill be considered less suitable to the problem as it is represented.The thesis therefore evaluates the competing problem representations forgender mainstreaming in Sweden. The theory chapter explores two developmentpossibilities for gender mainstreaming, based on diversity and deliberativedemocracy.

This Master?s thesis investigates user education at high school libraries. The aim of this study is to examine user education and the educational approach that librarian?s experience in their teaching. The method used for the study is qualitative interviews with seven high school librarians.

This essay investigates the integration of the school library into teaching in one of Sweden?s senior high schools and the effects of the new education act which gives school libraries a stronger standing. A second purpose is to investigate teachers? views on professional responsibility with regard to the development of information literacy. Through an email survey different aspects of library integration are investigated.

This is the environment in which Lund University finds itself. Ideas in the beginning of the 21-century is concerning a stronger emfasis on steering, centralisation, re-hieriarchyzation, standardised processes and a new regulation concerning internal control. Through theories of new institutionalism, with conceptions as organizational identity and the expectations of adapting to new ideas, can you track the translation and adaptation that the ideas go through at the university- a decentralised organization where not only freedom has been a concept for the academic parts, but also for the administration.

Recent studies have reemphasized the importance of competition in democracy. An ideaoriginating from Weber: that demoeratic competition leads to more qualified leaders, has been resurrected. Research shows that democracies are more Iikely to elect leaders with a high leve l of education, and with in demoeratic states stronger competition correlates with elected politicians with higher education, more political experience and higher previous income. This study researehes whether the earrelation between greater competition and electedcandirlates with higher "Curriculum vitae-qualities" holds between electoral systems. Does a more competitive electoral system elect candirlates that score higher on such measures? Using education as a proxy forthese qualities the study traces different outcomes on education in a mixed electoral system, camparing the majoritarian (more competitive) part of the electoral system with the prop011ional (less competitive) part.

Detta är en studie som syftar till att bidra med fördjupad kunskap om lärares upplevelser kring gymnasieskolans reform, GY11. Huvudfrågorna är hur väl man anser att informationen om GY11 har nått ut till skolan och på vilket sätt detta har skett samt hur lärare förhåller sig till de nya förändringarna, både i praktiskt arbete och i attityder. För att kunna besvara dessa frågeställningar har jag gjort en kvalitativ undersökning i form av personliga intervjuer och med grund i tidigare forskning har jag i min analys beaktat faktorer som direkt påverkar framgången för implementering av reformer, närmare bestämt lärares upplevda behov av förändring samt vikten av deliberativa samtal, organisering och tidsfördelning. Resultaten visar att det har gjorts stora ansträngningar för att få ut information till skolorna men att det har funnits vissa brister, att lärarna generellt är mycket positivt inställda till förändringarna, att det finns en klar ambition att arbeta enligt de nya riktlinjer som lagts fram för GY11 men att de ökade kraven på dokumentation upplevs som en negativ aspekt av reformen..

The artistic subjects disappeared from the obligatory curriculum of the Swedish secondary school in 2011. The purpose of this work is to analyze to which extent the new curriculum Lgy11 is based on scientific results when it comes to the role the aesthetics were given. This paper analyzes the documents that preceded the reform, such as Government Reports and Interpellation Debates, for a start. It continues with an analysis of an interdisciplinary group of researchers, whose scientific work include research of impacts of art and art education in ordinary education and learning in a more holistic perspective. Finally an analysis of the curriculum itself is made.
