Do people, especially young people, have a more positive attitudetowards the Internet and has the fact that we, as a country, were among the first to use theInternet anything to do with it.Material/Method: Data collected from books, newspapers and articles from several sites onthe internet. I?ll use the information I?ve gathered to try to find an answer to my givenproblems for the paper.

The purpose of this thesis is to examine how novices set about when they search for information. Marchionini's information-seeking model is the theoretical starting point, which is supplemented by theories of other specialists within the field, such as Chowdhury; Harter; Large, Tedd and Hartley. As method a questionnaire survey was used. The questionnaire was sent to 96 students at IHM Business School in Gothenburg and 57 questionnaires were returned. The results show among other things that the majority of the students used highly interactive search strategies, and they did not plan their search before they carried out the search.

Förändringarna på arbetsmarknaden har lett till en ökadkänsla av anställningsotrygghet för arbetskraften.(Hartley,Jacobson, Klandermans, & van Vuuren, 1991) Syftet med denhär studien var att undersöka om ett internt kontrollokus ochfrivillighet för anställningsformen samt yrket samverkar föratt ge mindre anställningsotrygghet. Även variablernafrivillighet, kontrollokus, anställningsbarhet samt ett pardemografiska variabler undersöktes för att prediceraanställningsotrygghet. Urvalet bestod 69 stycken lokalvårdaresvarade som på enkäten. Den multipla hierarkiskaregressionsanalysen visade att ett internt kontrollokus ochfrivillighet inte samverkar för att ge lägre anställnings-otrygghet . Däremot framkom att ålder, vårdnadsform ochkontrollokus kunde predicera anställningsotrygghet.Resultaten beror troligen på att variabeln frivillighet ensaminte gav mindre anställningsotrygghet, vilket kan ha berott påatt urvalsgruppen var homogen vad det gäller bland annatålder, kön och anställningsform. .

Med avstamp i en rad, såväl juridiskt som politiskt, kontroversiella domslut från EU-domstolen publicerade Hjalte Rasmussen 1986 sin avhandling On Law and Policy in the European Court of Justice. Rasmussens avhandling representerade ett nytt, mer kritiskt förhållningssätt till studiet av EU-domstolen och beskrev domstolens dömande verksamhet i termer av rättslig aktivism. Under de kommande åren skall också J.H.H Weiler, T.C. Hartley och Ola Wiklund komma att publicera sina bidrag till diskussionen om avgränsningen av EU-domstolens juridiska sfär från lagstiftarens politiska. Weiler underkänner Rasmussens normativa kriterier för att styrka EU-domstolens aktivistiska verksamhet och efterfrågar en rättslig måttstock för utvärdering av domstolens rättspraxis.

The purpose of this Bachelor Thesis is to examine what happens when the solitary reading experience becomes a social activity. The study is based on semi-structured interviews with three women belonging to the same reading group. I have used Sten Furhammar?s reading dimensions and categories to explain their reading experience, and Jenny Hartley, Elizabeth Long and Immi Lundin to explain the function that the reading group has for them, and the relationship between reading experiences in a book-discussion.My result shows that they started the reading group because they lacked an opportunity to discuss their readings with people that had the same interest in books. They do all have different ways to read, which is displayed by Furhammar?s categories personal and impersonal reading for experience.

The purpose of this Master Thesis was to study the reader in the informal reading group. To fulfil our purpose we have used the following questions: how did the reader become a reader and what does her reading look like, why do people choose to participate in a reading group, how may the group influence the individual member in her reading and interpretation of a book, does the reading group have a therapeutic function, how does the informant find the group dynamics and different roles in the reading group, and finally how does the informant experience the discussion in the reading group. We have used two studies about reading groups, one by Elizabeth Long and one by Jenny Hartley. Our theory is divided into reading and group psychology. We have interviewed seven women belonging to different reading groups.

The Library of Uppsala University has decided to change their classification system from the Swedish SAB system to the American Dewey Decimal Classification. One of the main reasons for this decison was that Kungliga biblioteket also has made an exchange between these systems. Due to that, the national bibliography of Sweden classifies Swedish documents according to Dewey Decimal Classification and the SAB system is no longer maintained. A transition to Dewey Decimal Classification will enable Swedish librarians to import foreign catalouge posts and classification codes and will provide them with a common standard between their libraries and other libraries due to the use of the same international classification system. It is disputed whether the Dewey Decimal Classification is equally suitable for all subjects.

Flertalet händelser under 2000-talet, som Göteborgskravallerna, massgripanden av fotbollssupportrar för våldsamt upplopp och flera våldsamma upplopp i samband med Reclaim the city manifestationer, är oroande. Kan detta tyda på att det i samhället finns en tendens, att vi är på väg mot ett åsidosättande av individens skydd i form av fri- och rättigheter, till förmån för bekämpandet av brott.Denna studie har till syfte att undersöka konflikten mellan individens fri- och rättigheter och myndigheternas befogenheter vid gripanden och omhändertaganden. Detta innebär att med Europakonventionens artikel 5 som utgångspunkt, undersöka överensstämmelsen med svensk rätt och eventuella konflikter mellan individens fri- och säkerhet och samhällets regler för bekämpning av brott.Studien anger kriterier för hur en prövning kommer till och i viss mån även Europadomstolens funktion.
