Denna uppsats behandlar medarbetares motivation inom restaurangbranschen. Restaurangbranschens höga personalomsättning i Sverige idag beror bland annat på att branschen fortfarande ses som en genomfartsbransch med låg status. Dålig arbetsmiljö och en personalintensiv bransch i kombination med krävande yrken har präglat restaurangbranschen genom historien som bland annat har visat sig genom låga grundlöner med liten löneutveckling, i förhållande till andra branscher samt att anställningstryggheten ofta är låg. Uppsatsens teorier och empiri bygger på och utgår ifrån Herzbergs Tvåfaktorteori som beskrivs genom motivations- och hygienfaktorer samt Adairs teorier om motivation och ledarskap genom hans 50/50-regel samt åttastegsmodell. Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka vad som främst motiverar medarbetare i kök, servering/bar och disk i sitt dagliga arbete på sin arbetsplats.

This thesis has been written at Linköping University for the company Instrument Control Sweden AB (ICS).ICS is a small company located in Linköping that develops software and hardware for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, UAV. At present, ICS has a fully functional autopilot called EasyPilot but they want to reduce the autopilot?s size to make it more attractive.The purpose of this thesis was to investigate if it was possible to reduce the size of the autopilot and how, in that case, it would be done. It was also necessary to examine whether the old processors should be replaced by new ones and how hard it would be to convert the old software to these new processors.To succeed with the goals many of the old components had to be changed for new, smaller ones. Some less necessary parts were also completely removed.

Context. In today?s society we use smart cards in many areas, NFC is a smart card technology that allows contactless interaction between a reader and the tag, the tag is often in the form of a card. NFC can be used for various payment methods or as access card to a building which makes life easier. In previous studies, the technique has proven to be weak to attacks using an NFC reader connected to a computer.

This report is written in cooperation with the Swedish National Road Administration South-Eastern Region in Jönköping. The report is a result of the evaluation to give an answer to the question about how well the function contract has been carried out on the E4 in Östergötlands and Jönköpings län. The evaluation is divided in two hard parameters and one soft.The Swedish National Road Administration is interested in knowing how the standard on the road have been changed during the functions period, which is the reason why the first hard parameter is considering road standard. To evaluate the standard there have been a comparison of values from measures taken every year on the current road stretch. The second hard parameter considers economy.
