The authors were curious and asked themselves if teachers are aware of the base of their teaching in various teaching situations. Are teachers at all capable of expressing that in words? One of the reasons that the authors chose the particular issue was because they think teachers have the task to satisfy the needs of all students and therefore they found it interesting to study how various teachers act. The purpose of the study is to observe teachers didactical awareness, and how it can be added to their intentions and actions, as in how they speak about their teaching and how they act in various teaching situations. Methods used in the study were observations and qualitative interviews.

The purpose with my essay was to investigate how genre pedagogy works in a practical manor? I wanted to reach a deeper understanding for the genre pedagogy and to find out if it fits all students. To investigate this issue I have asked following questions:What is genre pedagogy?How do teachers work with different genres in the genre pedagogy?For whom is the genre pedagogy?Is the critic right that Frøydis Hertzberg is proposing about the genre pedagogy formalism? I have been using qualitative methods, to gather my empirical data. I have been using two unstructured interviews and one unsystematically observation, in a third grade class in a school south of Stockholm, with 30% second language students.

Sjuksköterskeutbildningen på högskolor i Sverige utgörs av teoretiska och praktiska studier, uppdelat på sex terminer. I den svenska utbildningstraditionen var upplägget att en person, lärare eller handledare, hade kunskapen om ett ämne där studenten skulle ställa frågor för att få ta del av denna kunskap. Denna tradition återfanns även i yrkesutbildningar så som sjuksköterskeutbildningen, även om den då lade mycket ansvar hos både studenten och handledaren. Syfte: Syftet med studien var att kartlägga hur sjuksköterskestudenter i termin 4 uppfattade det stöd de fick av sina handledare (kliniska sjuksköterskor) under VFU placeringarna i termin 4. Dessutom efterfrågades de egenskaper studenterna ansåg att en god handledare bör ha.

Patienter i hälso- och sjukvård har generellt en positiv attityd till studentmedverkan. Dock är forskningen om vilken uppfattning patienter inom psykiatrisk vård har till studentmedverkan mycket begränsad.Syfte: Att undersöka hur patienter inom psykiatrisk vård upplever studenters medverkan i vårdenMetod: Kvantitativ studie, en enkätstudie. Patienter från tre verksamhetsområden på ett universitetsjukhus i Mellansverige tillfrågades om att svara på enkätfrågor.Resultat: Resultatet blev 655 besvarade enkäter. Av respondenterna uppgav 95 % att de ansåg att det var viktigt att studenter får träffa patienter under sin utbildning.

En av specialpedagogens arbetsuppgifter kan vara som intern handledare i en skol- eller förskoleorganisation. Syftet med vårt examensarbete är att undersöka hur specialpedagoger beskriver sina upplevelser och uppfattningar av att vara intern handledare i en skol- eller förskoleorganisation. I vår studie har vi intervjuat åtta specialpedagoger och en speciallärare som handleder kollegor som en del i sitt arbete. Vi har använt en metod med halvstrukturerade frågor. Specialpedagogerna kommer från förskolor, grundskolor, gymnasieskolor och en särskola i Stockholms län.

AbstractThe purpose of this study has been to find out what attitude fifth graders have towards mathematics. This is done to get a better understanding of student?s feelings regarding about mathematics and what it is that makes mathematics fun or boring. My questions have been: What do the students think is fun, boring and difficult about mathematics? How do students think that a good mathematics teacher should be? Do the students see a difference in the mathematics teaching in easy compulsory school years?To find answers to my questions I have looked into prior research on students attitudes towards mathematics.

The aim of this study is to highlight the computer as a learning resource in the education and give us knowledge about how the students uses the computer in year one in a selected High School where one computer per student were introduced in autumn 2011. The aim is also to contribute to the discussion about how the computer can become a natural learning resource for all students in all subjects, including the students in need of special support.How are the High School students using the computer?Are there differences in computer use, whether the student is in academic or vocational program?Are there differences in computer use between boys and girls?Do the student experience that the digital competence is increasing together with if they experience the computer as aid?In what degree do the teachers encourage the students to use the computer?How much do the students use the computer to learn mathematic?The study is based on a survey of all students in year one in a municipal High School.The result of the study is showing that the students first of all use the computer to play music, surf the Internet and to be logged in on social media (eg. Facebook). The students have learned to use the computer for the tasks they need, although the teachers don?t encourage the students to use the computer in any higher means, not in mathematics and not in other subjects.

This paper reports from a study looking at teacher?s and student?s apprehensions regarding rubrics. The idea to research this specific subject stems from our interest in this phenomenon due to our education and curiosity about how rubrics are apprehended and not about how they are used or described. To explore this area we have used empirical material compiled through interviews. The analysis is done by creating categories containing various apprehensions expressed in the material through different characterizations of the phenomenon called rubrics.

This thesis primarily includes a study on whether companies can develop a mathematical activity that supports students' motivation in mathematics. The work was done together with Midroc Electro, a company that pays attention to the difficulty of recruiting and therefore was interested in investigating how the business world would be able to contribute.The thesis can be divided into three stages. The first part comprised by a exploration into research on student motivation regarding mathematics as well as numerous interviews with engineers to see how the research findings did fit with Midroc Electros reality. In these studies it became clear that the student who aims for a profession whose education or work requires math belongs to the group of students who primarily manage their studies in mathematics, that is, those that have the greatest motivation to work hard and complete their studies.Research information and interviews were compared and resulted in the thesis second part, Midroc Challenge. An activity where students primarily came to learn about the engineering profession and secondly how mathematics can be used in the engineering profession.

The basic principle of the integrated school according to the Salamanca Declaration is that all children, whenever possible, should be taught together, regardless of any difficulties or diversity. It has been shown that students with neuropsychiatric disorders are having much more difficulties to achieve the targets than the average student. Pupils with neuropsychiatric syndrome will always be present in school and we who are working in the business must be better at learning to adapt to them so that they too can achieve proficiency in school.Mathematics is perhaps the topic that Swedish students generally have most problems with,and it will not obviously be easier if you have some form of neuropsychiatric disability.In our future role as special education teachers, we will mentor and support other teachers in the complex educational environment that exists today. The aim that has been built up is thus partly to explore how mathematics teachers work with included students with neuropsychiatric disorders, as well as how teachers wishing to become supervised by specialeducation teachers in mathematics. Syftet med denna undersökning är att ta reda påom det finns speciella mönster i layouten mellan tio olika annonser fråntidningen Metro Student Magazine. Genom att undersöka hur rubriker, bilder ochlogotyper är placerade samt göra färg-, text- och retorikanalyser på annonsernavill jag ta reda på om det finns samband - likheter och/eller skillnader -mellan deras layout. Annonsernas färger, teckensnitt, genomsnittliga meningslängdersamt mottagartilltal undersöks för att slutsatser ska kunna dras om deraslayout. Undersökningen visar att det finns vissa likheter och skillnader mellanannonserna beroende på om de kommer från företag som vill rekrytera personaleller om de kommer från företag som vill sälja en speciell produkt.Resultatetvisar även att det finns ett mönster angående annonsernas placering i tidningenoch att samtliga annonser, som grupp, har vissa likheter, vilket kan visa påatt annonser i Metro Student Magazine har speciella layoutmönster..

Marketing of education is a phenomenon which has been developed throughout the increasing competition within the educational sector. The focus of this paper is the marketing made by upper secondary schools (grade 10-12) in Stockholm. The competition in this area is increasing partly due to the growing number of private schools. However, this is a phenomenon seen only in larger cities with several schools available. There are over 170 upper secondary schools in Stockholm and the students freely can choose among these.

Three different factors are thought to be involved in the increased segregation in Stockholm: the living segregation, scientific and political dissonances and the social economical factor. Many segregated areas have many inhabitants with foreign background. Schools in these areas have a higher number of students with lower grades compared to other schools with higher number of students that are ethnical Swedes. Jordbromalmsskolan is a school in Haninge kommun that is one of the seven schools in Stockholms suburbs where students graduate with the lowest grades. The school is suffering from a very bad reputation because of many problems like fights between students and lack of resources like purchase stop.

Studien har haft en hermeneutisk utgångspunkt där semistrukturerade intervjuer av kvalitativ metod har använts för att samla in data från fem studerande män i åldrarna 20-26 år. Syftet med studien har varit att belysa unga universitetsstuderande mäns erfarenheter av den manliga studentrollen i relation till alkoholkonsumtion. Vi har med Goffmans dramaturgiska perspektiv och Connells maskulinitetsteori tolkat resultatet. Det framgår att rollen som student har förväntningar på sig att gestaltas på specifika vis och att detta formar de individer som går in i denna roll. Lika så gäller för rollen som man, där vissa attribut och handlingar krävs av individen för att visa upp och markera tillhörighet till rollen.
