Studien syftar till att undersöka hur det är att vara en garvare som arbetar med traditionella tekniker utifrån ett specifikt fall. Syftet med arbetet är att undersöka hur det är att vara yrkesverksam garvare idag och hur garvaren ser på sin kunskap och sin verksamhet. Problemformulering:Vad innebär det att vara garvare och arbeta småskaligt och med traditionell tekniker?Vilka problem och utmaningar kan en garvare som arbetar småskaligt med traditionella tekniker mötas av?Hur hanterar garvaren dessa problem och utmaningarna?Arbetet har varit en kvalitativ fallstudie med metodologisk triangulering som kombinerar olika metoder så som observation, intervju, en text och film analys för att undersöka en och samma informant. Informanten som har undersöks är en yrkesverksam garvare i Östergötland.

Jag har som examensarbete på master-nivå formgivit en sittmöbel med utgångspunkt från min uppväxt i Dalarna. Målet har varit att göra en filosofisk tolkning av mina minnen samt en hyllning till regionen, i synnerhet Borlänge där jag växt upp.Jag har under projektets gång gjort en resa både på ett mentalt och rent fysiskt plan tillbaka till den plats jag växt upp för att utforska mina minnen och därigenom skapa en plattform för mitt designarbete.För att nå mitt resultat har jag använt mig av designmetoder som ITK, intervjuer, skisser, studiebesök, materialtester, mockups samt modelleringsverktyget Rhino.Resultatet är en stol inspirerad av saker som bland annat Ornäs stugan och musikkulturen i Borlänge. The story of Jonathan and David is a part of the deuteronomical view of Israels history from the occupation of the holy land all the way to the exile in Babylon. I am aware of that this is not true history, but it is nevertheless interesting to ask oneself: Why are those people a part of the deuteronomical history? What was the meaning in telling the story in this way?Exegetes and researchers are trying to give the relationship between Jonathan and David a place in the political realm, but here I have used several sources to show that it is not only a political story, but a loveaffair, where Jonathan is pictured as a submissive woman and thereby excludes himself from the throne of Israel. David on the other hand, acts as the perfect man, who is in command in spite of his youth. He does not break the rules of the patriarchal society, where the relation between two men was accepted as long as the older one did not play the womans role.

Uppmärksamheten kring vårdrelaterade infektioner har lyfts fram i media som ett växande problem på sjukhus i Sverige. En av de stora anledningarna till spridning av smitta är personalens brist på korrekt utförande av basala hygienrutiner. Syftet med studien var att undersöka följsamheten gentemot Handbok för hälso- och sjukvårds riktlinjer gällande handhygien, användande av handskar och skyddskläder. Data samlades in genom strukturerade observationer på en avdelning på ett sjukhus i södra Sverige och analyserades därefter både kvalitativt och kvantitativt med hjälp av en modifierad version av Burnards (1991) innehållsanalys. Resultatet visade att följsamheten var mindre god inom samtliga kategorier.

The Purpose of the study was to highlight the primary care managers' perception of the barriers and opportunities in the implementation of the national guidelines for harmful drinking and alcohol abuse in KalmarCounty. The data was collected by questionnaires which were directed to all primary care managers in the county. The response rate was low, 40%. The data collection was complemented at a later stage with a non-response analysis. To analyze the results implementation theory with following terms were used: wants to, understand and know.

The aim of this project is to examine the needs and problems that exists amongst homeless people and to develop a solution that will help them in their everyday life. Since the homeless are a relatively large vulnerable group i Sweden, their everyday lives could be made easier in many ways.A clear definition of the target group is put together to create a good starting point. What state and help orginazations do to help the homelss and the society?s view of the homeless is also relevant and has been documented. Four personal stories have been put together to desicribe cases of clear problems existing in everyday life.Several interesting problems has been defined from the research and acceptance in the communtiy, desire to be seen and heard and a lack of confidence were the main needs.

Denna studie avser att undersöka om motorisk träning används i special undervisningen för barn med diagnosen ADHD och i så fall hur. I studien användes en kvantitativ enkätundersökning samt två kompletterande kvalitativa intervjuer. Studien undersöker om idrottslärare, speciallärare samt specialpedagoger överhuvudtaget har motorisk träning i sin undervisning. Följande undersöktes: Längden på motorikpassen, fördelningen flickor - pojkar. Studien undersökte hur ofta och i vilken åldergrupp den motoriska undervisningen bedrevs.

This bachelor essay is divided into two parts, the first being a construction of a single-familyhouse and the second an in-depth study of five different isolation materials, analysed from anenergy perspective.The first part, the construction of the single-family house, has been created from knowledgeacquired during three years of studying at KTH Royal institute of Technology in Stockholm, inthe program Architecture and the Built Environment. The constructed house is a one-floorhouse of 137m2with façade plaster, situated in Borlänge, Sweden. The house has a wooden framewhich is built on a on sight cast concrete foundation, on the ground. SyfteSyftet med uppsatsen var att undersöka hur fyra förskollärare använder sig av pedagogisk dokumentation i förskolan samt vad de har för syfte med den pedagogiska dokumentationen.För att uppnå syftet med uppsatsen användes två frågeställningar, Hur arbetar fyra förskollärare med pedagogisk dokumentation och Varför och för vems skull används pedagogisk dokumentation?MetodEn metod i form av ostrukturerade intervjufrågor användes. Totalt intervjuades fyra kvinnliga förskollärare som varit verksamma inom förskolan mellan 5 och 29 år.ResultatSamtliga förskollärare använde sig av pedagogisk dokumentation, men med olika tillvägagångssätt. Den vanligast förekommande dokumentationsformen var enligt portfoliometoden, även där med olika tillvägagångssätt.Beträffande varför och för vems skull förskollärarna använde sig av pedagogisk dokumentation varierade svaren. Två av förskollärarna ansåg att det i första hand var för barnen skull och de andra två tyckte att den pedagogiska dokumentationen var till för pedagogerna i första hand.Nyckelbegrepp: pedagogisk dokumentation, portfolio, förskola, förskollärare.

The subject of this bachelors degree project is an interior layout for road ambulances.Landstinget Västernorrland (LVN) wanted a layout concept that would be used to com- municate their design intentions to the ambulance producers during their purchase process.Designing ambulance interiors is an extremely complex process since there so many fac- tors to take into consideration. It ?s not just about taking the equipment and place it where there is space left in the cabin. You have to start with the user in focus and the tasks that are to be performed in the ambulance environment.It ishard to find design solutions that will fit 100% of the ambulance personnel?s working routines for 100% of the tasks.

Det är tänkt att programmet ska användas i Björknäshallen, vilken är Bodens IK´s hemma arena. Som det fungerar nu så markerar de på papper vilka platser som säljs och skriver sedan ut biljetten för hand.

In the aftermath of September 11, 2001, issues related to religion and violence has beenactualized in the media. Do Islamic texts and sources legitimate violent actions? In responseto these questions, some professional scholars of Islam argued that the 11 September terroristswere not really Muslims, but hijackers of Islam. According to other scholars, such argumentsreflect a common sui-generis discourse in religious studies which stresses the autonomy ofreligious phenomena, the priority of faith over cultural production, interior experiences andbeliefs over social practice. The scholars in favor for a naturalistic approach in religiousstudies argues that, in order to approach religion in a naturalistic way, we have to be critical ofrepresentations of religion ? and in this case representations of Islam ? drawing on a suigenerisdiscourse.

The agriculture throughout the world is becoming increasingly deregulated and this has affected the prices of raw materials to fluctuate at a higher degree than earlier. This in turn has made it interesting and in some cases even necessary for the trader as well as the producer to gain knowledge about the trade instruments available to ensure a good enough price for their produced goods. This study encompasses a number of ways to trade grain and oil plants in order to clarify what differences there are in the several contracts that exist in the present situation, economical as well as practical. The various trade instruments available to the producers on the Swedish market are described in the theoretical part of this study. The study also contains a simple arithmetic example, based on historical prices collected from grain traders and trading floors, in order to point out the differences in the economical outcomes depending on the business strategy used to sell the produced goods. The study shows the importance, as a producer, of being able to use and take advantage of the different trading instruments at hand to monitor and exploit the shifts in the market. From an economical point of view it is not enough to just excel at farming but knowledge about the market functions and the trade instruments at hand is also required to be able to secure a good enough price for your goods.

The purpose of this study is, on one hand, to obtain an understanding of how children in municipal music- and culture schools choose instruments and what forms of recruitment methods they are subjected to, and on the other hand, how you can make them continue to play once they have begun.To acquire this information, I have interviewed five music teachers and two principals at municipal music- and culture schools in Värmland. The questions treated, among other things, what affects children?s instrument preferences, recruitment methods and what you can do to keep interest for the chosen instrument alive.The result of the study shows some apparent tendencies. Even though some of the instruments have trouble recruiting students and other instruments have trouble keeping them, the old methods, which obviously do not work in a satisfactory manner, are still being used. Instead, increased commitment at the occasion of recruitment, more group teaching which strengthens the social bonds through role models and a will to have the courage to change the organization when it does not work, is required..
