In Jan Jagers and Stefaan Walgrave theory about populism as a political communication-style they claim that one can find this in the rhetoric of political parties. In their study of Belgian politics they found that the extreme-right party Vlaams Block has embraced this populism to a larger extent than other parties. Based on this theory this thesis aims at finding populism as a communication-style in three different Swedish political parties with the purpose to see if the extreme-right party ?The Sweden Democrats? will show populism to a larger extent than other parties, as was the case in the Belgian study.Based on Jagers and Walgraves operational definition of populism as a political communication-style this thesis applies it to the rhetoric of three different parties being ?The Social Democratic Party?, ?The Moderate Party? and ?The Sweden Democrats?. This is done in order to be able to clarify on the one hand if their theory is applicable to the Swedish case and on the other hand to what extent populism as a communication-style exists in Swedish political rhetoric.The method for this thesis has been a qualitative text analysis since and leads to the result that Jagers and Walgraves theory of populism as a communication-style is applicable to the Swedish case and that ?The Sweden Democrats? to a larger extent uses this political communication style, than the two other parties..

Syftet med studien är att undersöka hur samhälleliga institutioner och olika aktörer påverkade kvinnorna under 1950-talet att bli hemma och ta hand om hem och familj. Studien inleds med en historisk tillbakablick som startar omkring 1920 och avslutas med efterkrigstiden. Femtiotalet brukar kallas hemmafruarnas epok och jag har studerat litteratur, tidskrifter och forskning som behandlar denna period och som berör kvinnors situation.Undersökningen bygger på avhandlingar och andra böcker samt olika myndigheters betänkanden. Texterna har granskats kritiskt. Undersökningen visar hur flera aktörer försökte påverka kvinnorna till att stanna hemma och ta hand om hem och familj.

Fighting against accidents with elderly involved have come to be one of the west world's greatest challenges together with the climate changes and epidemics, and in order to fight against these accidents SDF Centre, Gothenburg appointed a man to the post as a caretaker.The aim of this master thesis is to analyse whether the implementation process and the systematic work correspond with Vedungs implementation theory and also put forward arguments for and against a masculine entrance into promotion old-age care; if it strengthens or is a take-off from the classical sexual roles.The thesis main theory is Evert Vedungs theory of implementation, which is constituted of eight factors which facilitates an implementation process. In order to theorise the sexual roles I have appropriated a gender perspective, constituted of multiple researchers and authors.The conclusion I have received through the qualitative interviews carried out with actors involved in the implementation process, is that the security services implementation correspond well with Vedungs implementation theory, hence the implementation has proceeded efficiently. The classical sexual roles is on one Hand Strengthened through a masculine possession of the security service, and on the other hand can the masculine entrance in the old-age care entail that more men apply for promotion old-age care work..

The aim of this study is to explore the approach and views on female genital mutilation(FGM) among young women from Somalia, and how they perceive the tradition afterimmigration to Sweden. This is structured under the following questions: What do theyknow about FGM? What are their experiences? And what do they reckon about FGMtoday? The study is based on one recorded interview with a group of young femalesfrom Somalia. The data were analysed using qualitative content analysis. The women?sfeelings were ambivalent though they on one hand opposed FGM because of serioushealth risks, but on the other hand were conscious of the tradition?s great influence inthe social network and daily life.

The aim of this study was to analyze society's efforts for girls who are victims of honorrelatedviolence and oppression. More specifically its aim was to examine what efforts thesociety can offer girls who are exposed to honor-related violence and oppression, and howsocial services and shelters cooperate on issues of honor. We have chosen to focus on girlswho are victims of honor-related violence, but we are aware that even boys and men face thisproblem. The study was conducted using a qualitative approach through interviews. Tocomplete the study we have conducted eight interviews throughout Sweden.

Uppsatsens syfte är att undersöka flerspråkiga elevers syn på sin skolsituation. Hur upplever elever med annat modersmål än svenska att de bemöts i skolan av lärare och kamrater? Tas elevers flerspråkighet tillvara i skolan och i sådant fall på vilket sätt? Vilken inställning har elever till modersmålsundervisning och varför? Ser elever med annat modersmål än svenska, sin flerspråkighet som en tillgång eller som ett hinder? Undersökningen genomfördes i form av kvalitativa intervjuer med åtta elever i skolår fem och sex på två olika skolor, i två olika kommuner. Genom att utveckla modersmålet förstärks även andraspråket, då språkutvecklingen går hand i hand. Om man inte känner kulturtillhörighet, det vill säga att man inte känner till sitt ursprung och inte behärskar modersmål väl kan det påverka identitetsutvecklingen negativt.

Empowerment har speciellt inom vårdsektorn blivit ett centralt begrepp, som samstämmigt anses vara ett otydligt begrepp. Syftet med denna studie var att beskriva hur arbetskonsulenter/stödpersoner upplever och tillämpar begreppet empowerment i sitt arbete med att få ut brukare/deltagare, med olika psykiska funktionsnedsättningar på arbetsmarknaden. I studien genomfördes sju individuella intervjuer med stödpersoner, som arbetade på varsin enhet inom en privat organisation. Därefter gjordes en tematisk analys. Resultatet pekar på att man i första hand ser empowerment som något på individnivå där begrepp som brukarinflytande, självständighet, självkänsla, egenmakt, stärkande och bemyndigande är nyckelord.

The traditional lawn is believed to be facing a dilemma. On one hand, it is valuable for people because of its esthetical and functional values. On the other hand, the lawn is perceived as a monoculture without biological diversity that hinders the domestic landscape?s flora and fauna. In this graduation-thesis, the private and public lawn?s dilemma of ?to be or not to be?, is examined from these two different perspectives.

The single market is one of the underlying ideas of the European Union. Free movement of goods and efficient competition are central for the function of the union and are therefore carefully protected by the Treaty of Rome. Exclusive rights of trademarks in the EU can be seen as a method of dividing the common market, preventing the free movement of goods and to be anti-competitive. What comes out of this is that there is a conflict between exclusive rights of trademarks and the rules of both free movement of goods and competition. The aim of this work is to see in which kind of situations the exclusive rights of trademarks can be a part of this conflict but also to study how this problem is resolved by the European Court.

I denna uppsats har vi valt att undersöka hur fem lärare, aktiva och blivande, använder sig av historisk spelfilm i undervisningen. Detta har i första hand gjorts utifrån fyra olika frågeställningar men som ibland visade sig flyta ihop med varandra. Fokus ligger bland annat på vilka problem respondenterna anser användningen av filmmediet kan föra med sig och hur man som lärare ska förhålla sig till detta. Syftet har också varit att undersöka hur respondenterna ser på det omdiskuterade begreppet "historiemedvetande". Undersökningen har genomförts genom kvalitativa intervjuer med de enskilda respondenterna.
