The aim of this study has been to describe the ongoing region enlargement process in the region Mälardalen, located in the east part of Sweden, and to investigate how this process can affect the local level. The study is especially orientated on public communications and accessibility. The intention has also been to examine how the local accessibility can affect the re-gional development in Mälardalen. The local investigation object that has been chosen for this research is the city Strängnäs, situated in the province of Södermanland. The city of Strängnäs and the cities in it?s near geographic surroundings has been the benchmark for this casestudy, in which the local accessibility with public transportation has been investigated.

Intresset kring mode är stort i Sverige och handeln med detaljhandelsvaror ökar för varje år. Det senaste året har dock varit tufft för många företag i branschen, både nationellt och internationellt. Rapporter visar att handeln ökar totalt sett i landet, men att det finns stora regionala skillnader. Storstäderna i landet ökar mest både befolkningsmässigt och handelsmässigt, på bekostnad utav övriga regioner. Rapporter visar även att trenden går mot att de mindre lokala butikerna blir färre och de stora butikskedjorna ökar sin utbredning världen över.Syftet med uppsatsen är att beskriva och försöka förklara om en mellanstorstad i Sverige har de förutsättningar som krävs för att etablera en butik från en världsomfattande modekedja, varvid huvudsakligen kvalitativ metod använts.

En av park- och gatuarbetarnas många verktyg, är den traditionella sopkvasten.Sopkvasten används för att städa upp ytor där maskiner inte kommer åt, såsom;under bänkar, i hörn och mindre områden. Vid användning av en traditionellsopkvast innefattar rörelsen rotation och framåtlutning av kroppsställningen, somkan om den utförs under en längre tidsperiod leda till muskuloskeletala besvär ochha negativa effekter på hälsan. Detta projekt syftar till att utveckla ett nyttrengöringsverktyg för att minska framåtlutad, roterad kroppsställning.Denna avhandling har använt en produktutvecklingsmetodik och en biomekaniskanalys för att uppfylla en faktabas för att nå målet. Översyn av litteratur,biomekanisk analys och benchmarking användes för att ställa inkravspecifikationer för detta projekt. Projektet tillämpade David G Ullman iterativproduktutvecklingsmetodik, inklusive brainstorming, Quality FunctionDeployment, Morfologi, Pugh's matris och Failure Mode Effects Analysis.

Konsumentbeteende handlar om när, varför, hur och var människor gör ett inköp av en vissprodukt. Konsumenternas demografiska profiler är ett viktigt område inomkonsumentbeteende. När det kommer till frågan om shopping så förknippas ordet i stort settmed kvinnor. Samtidigt beskrivs ofta manligt konsumentbeteende från ett traditionelltperspektiv och skiljer sig från det kvinnliga köpbeteendet. De traditionella stereotyperna förmanligt konsumentbeteende är att män är mer benägna att ta risker när de handlar eftersom deinte brukar fråga personalen om hjälp eller åsikt, de jämför inte olika alternativ med varandra,de brukar inte planerar sina inköp, de är inte villiga att handla i grupp och är ?rädda? för atthandla i kvinnliga butiker.Eftersom könsrollerna kan ändras över tid är det viktigt att inom marknadsföring undersökakring dessa ämnen och inte ta de stereotypa könsrollerna förgivet.
