Lantmäteriet har fått i uppdrag att ta fram en Ny Nationell Höjdmodell (NNH) över Sverige. Höjddata samlas in med flygburen laserskanning (FLS) och osäkerheten i höjd ligger generellt sett under 0,1 m på hårda plana ytor, dock kan osäkerheten öka avsevärt i terrängtyper med tät vegetation eller i områden med starkt sluttande terräng. Syftet med detta examensarbete är att kontrollera hur osäkerheten påverkas av olika vegetationstyper samt olika lutningsgrader. Provningen utfördes i delar av Avesta och Hedemora kommun i april 2012, där nio olika provytor kontrollerades enligt den tekniska specifikationen SIS-TS 21145:2007 ?Byggmätning ? Statistisk provning av digital terrängmodell?.

Background: Markets in Financial Instruments Directive, MiFID, was implemented in Swedish law in 2007 and aimed to increase competition of the securities market in order to achieve efficiency and lower transaction costs and to enhance investor protection. Another aim was to increase confidence in the market. After the implementation of MiFID some doubts had been highlighted regarding its intentional effects. This evoked the authors? interest to examine the directive?s effects and its impact on investors? trust.Aim: To examine how various participants in the Swedish securities market experienced changes since the implementation of MiFID in 2007, and its impact on the securities market and minor investors' trust.Method: The study applied a qualitative method with a deductive approach to describe, interpret and understand the problem area.

I denna studie undersöker vi fem andraspråkslevers syn på skolmatematiken med hjälp av semistrukturerade intervju. Vi undersöker vad de har för uppfattningar om matematiken, om matematikundervisningen, om sig själva som elever och som användare av matematiken och om hur matematikinlärning går till. Vi valde att göra detta arbete eftersom en stor andel elever med utländsk bakgrund inte uppnådde målen i matematik ämnesprov 2007 och 2008. Vi ville ta reda på vad detta kunde bero på. The case about Thomas Quick and its associated news coverage has been used as an example to illustrate the problematization regarding media imag-es and media framing attempt. The purpose of this essay was to illuminate how daily and evening newspapers works with various framing methods.The theoretical framework for this essay will discuss the media framing theory and its ramification attribute framing theory. The purpose of this essay is to study the impact of different factors on corporate capital structure. The factors studied in relation to corporate debt ratio are industry affiliation, size and profitability. The study involves all 252 companies quoted on the Stockholm stock exchange and cover a time period from 2007 to 2011. The result shows that branch affiliation has a significant impact on corporate debt ratios. Regarding size and profitability, however, these factors do not have an evident impact on corporate debt ratios..

Bakgrund och problem: Genom införandet av IFRS förändrades hanteringen av goodwill påså sätt att goodwill numer skall nedskrivningsprövas. Nedskrivningsprövningen baseras påföretagsledningens bedömningar om framtiden och flertalet studier har belyst att detdärigenom finns utrymme för subjektivitet. De senaste åren har präglats av kraftigakonjunkturförändringar och aktuella studier kring svenska företag har visat attnedskrivningarna inte har ökat i den grad som förväntades.Syfte: Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka huruvida storleken på företags nedskrivningarsamt antaganden vid nedskrivningsprövningen har förändrats under åren 2007-2009. Vidareundersöks bakomliggande faktorer i form av ett antal finansiella mått för att se om det finnsskillnader mellan de företag som skrivit ner respektive inte skrivit ner.Avgränsningar: I uppsatsen studeras endast företag noterade på Stockholmsbörsens LargeCap-, Mid Cap- och Small Cap-listor. Företag som inte följt IFRS eller haft goodwill irapporten över finansiell ställning under de undersökta åren samt företag med bruteträkenskapsår exkluderades i studien.Metod: Genom en kvantitativ studie granskades 166 börsnoterade företags årsredovisningarför åren 2007-2009.

In conventional viscose manufacturing, a large amount of carbondisulfide is consumed. This amount has to be decreased to keep the production cost down and to reduce the environmental impact. The purpose with this work was to show if an enzyme treatment of a dissolving pulp could increase the degree of substitution in the viscose so that the amount of carbon disulfide consumed in the process could be decreased. Previous investigations by Kvarnlöf (2007), Engström et.al. (2006) and Henriksson et.al.

The purpose of this paper is to present and analyze the yearly expenses for Swedish rental apartments during the period 1999 to 2007. At the end, it will give the reader a general picture of how the cost-level has fluctuated depending on the production year when the apartment building was finished, and where the same building is located. This paper has the following questions as a starting point:- Can there be an identification of regions depending on where people tend to favor renting an apartment?- How are those regions distributed? That is, where are the cost-levels of the yearly rental expenses highest and where are the levels lowest?Nine statistical surveys from the Swedish government agency Statistics Sweden (Statistiska Centralbyrån) have been used as primary sources for this paper. These surveys deal with price pictures of housing in general, but for this paper the only information that has been used is the one about rental apartments.

Introduction Every tenth patient in Sweden is affected by nosocomial infections. Among these, urinary tract infection (UTI) is the most frequently occurring within the hospital environment. Nosocomial infections lead to increasing costs for care, more suffering among the patients, increasing use of antibiotics, and longer treatment spells. The Academic hospital have engaged all wards in the so called VRISS-project (?nosocomial infections must be stopped?) in order to reduce the number of nosocomial infections.Aim In connection to the VRISS-project new routines for removal of uretrahl catheters are introduced at ward 70E2 at the Academic hospital.

A comparative study of students' beliefs about computer games, fiction reading and learning. This essay is part of a masters degree of pedagogy and investigates the experiences of 10 high-school students concerning playing computer-games-off-the-shelf (COTS) on the one hand, and reading fictional, printed novels on the other. The aim of this study was to learn more about the students' thoughts about playing COTS and reading novels; also, what differences and similarities there might be between these activities. Furthermore, I wanted to know what they thought they might learn from these activities. The theoretical point of departure for the study is twofold: Firstly, a theory of learning as expressed by Illeris (2007) and, secondly, a sociocultural perspective on learning, represented by Säljö (2000, 2005/2010) which includes the educational benifit of both playing COTS, represented by Gee (2007), and reading fiction, represented by Probst (1990) and Langer (1995). The method used in this study is mainly qualitative by nature.

Studiens syfte är att förstå hur statens fokus för att utbilda rektorer har ändrats över tid. Arbe-tet består i att studera två skilda statliga texter som talar om rektorsutbildning. Den första texten är Lärande ledare ? Ledarskap för dagens och framtidens skola (2001) (Text 1) och den andra texten är Tydligare ledarskap i skolan och förskolan ? förslag till en ny rektors¬utbildning Ds 2007:34 (Text 2). Mellan de båda texternas tillkomst har det gått sex år.Undersökningsfrågorna är: Vad uttrycker de två texterna om skolledare och den utbildning skolledare behöver? I vilken tidsanda skrevs respektive text? Vilka förändringar/förskjut¬ningar i synen på rektorns roll och utbildning kan iden¬tifieras?Metoden som använts är diskursanalys.

I uppsatsen undersöks hur integration av invandrare i de areella näringarna (växtodling, djurhållning och skogsskötsel) och på landsbygden kan underlättas, med fokus på Västra Götalands län. Det sker dels genom en litteraturstudie i ämnet, dels genom att beskriva erfarenheter av några projekt inom grön integration som genomförts i Västra Götaland, finansierat av landsbygdsprogrammet 2007-2013. Flyktingar med olika bakgrund intervjuas också om sin syn på landsbygden och intresse av att bo på landsbygden och arbeta inom de gröna näringarna. Litteraturstudien täcker olika aspekter på integration, såsom integration på landsbygden jämfört med i städerna, kommuners och myndigheters roll, möjligheter för invandrare att etablera sig som företagare inom de gröna näringarna, och nischer inom de gröna näringarna som kan vara lämpliga/möjliga för invandrare att etablera sig inom. Invandrare i Sverige bor i hög utsträckning i städer. Svensk landsbygd domineras av etniska svenskar och åldersstrukturen på landsbygden är ogynnsam för de gröna näringarna. För att utvecklas behöver landsbygden attrahera unga människor, entreprenörer och barnfamiljer. Invandrare är entreprenörer i högre utsträckning än etniska svenskar, och det finns många invandrade barnfamiljer som vill bo och arbeta på landsbygden.
