Bakgrund och problem: I samband med en tilltagande miljöförstöring har intresset förhållbarhetsarbete ökat. Detta har skapat press på företagen att redovisa miljöpåverkan ochutveckla hållbarhetsarbetet. Två industrier som är kritiserade för sin omfattandemiljöförstöring är gruv- respektive modeindustrin vars påverkan drabbar såväl natur sommänniskor och djur. Hur den konstaterade miljöpåverkan redovisas och eventuella skillnadermellan de två (helt) olika industrierna ligger till grund för den fortsatta studien.Syfte: Syftet med denna uppsats är att mer ingående undersöka redovisningen avmiljöindikatorer. Fokus riktas på omfattning och skillnader samt utveckling över enfemårsperiod mellan företag verksamma inom den svenska gruv- respektive modeindustrinsom redovisar sitt hållbarhetsarbete utifrån Global Reporting Initiative (GRI).Avgränsning: Studien är avgränsad till att endast behandla den miljöpåverkan de valdaföretagen har, ansvaret för de sociala och ekonomiska områdena har således bortsetts.Metod: Studien omfattar en kvalitativ innehållsanalys av hållbarhetsredovisningar för åren2009 till 2013 för sex utvalda företag, tre från vardera industri.

Under min verksamhetsförlagda utbildning (VFU) ingick det ett examensarbete, där jag skulle belysa ett problem i form av en rapport, det jag kom att ta upp var tidsåtgång och felkällor vid kvällsredovisningen av körda mängder på Cliffton Minings gruvverksamhet i Svappavaara. Rapporten visar hur vi genom att göra relativt enkla förändringar i redovisningsarbetet både sparade tid och förbättrade tillförlitligheten, dessa förbättringar fick stöd av arbetsledarna som vi intervjuade...

Bakgrund: Arbetet med hållbar utveckling har ökat väsentligt under det senaste decenniet och många begrepp har tagits fram för att beskriva detta arbete, exempelvis CSR och Triple Bottom Line. Begreppen syftar till att ta hänsyn till de tre delarna ekonomi, miljö och sociala frågor i ett företags verksamhet. Även riktlinjer har skapats för att kunna mäta detta arbete. Global Reporting Initiative, som bildades 1997, är en av de främsta och har under det senaste årtiondet blivit väl etablerat och ett internationellt erkänt ramverk. Även i Sverige redovisar många företag enligt riktlinjerna och år 2007 tog näringsdepartementet ett beslut som innebar att alla statliga bolag nu ska redovisa en hållbarhetsredovisning enligt GRI.Syfte: Syftet med vår uppsats är att jämföra statliga bolag med privata för att se skillnaden i hur de arbetar med hållbar utveckling.

Atlas Copco i Örebro tillhör affärsområdet gruv- och bergbrytningsteknik där de utvecklar, tillverkar, marknadsför och forskar på bergborrmaskiner, borraggregat, lastare samt truckar. Affärsområdet gruv- och bergbrytningsteknik består av olika divisioner som till exempel URE (Underground Rock Excavation). De maskiner som tillverkas på denna division är bland annat Boltec, Simba, Scaletec och Boomer. Dessa maskiner är alla olika typer av bergborrmaskiner och borraggregat. På produktionsavdelningen och slutmonteringen för dessa maskiner sker i dagsläget slutmontering av samtliga maskinerna som ett modulbygge och de flesta maskinerna stationsmonteras.

Efterfrågan på miljömässigt hållbara fastigheter har ökat i takt med att samhällets miljömedvetenhet har växt. År 2010 satte Vasakronan begreppet "gröna hyresavtal" på kartan när de lanserade denna avtalstyp. Begreppet har sitt ursprung utanför Sveriges gränser där Australien är det land som kommit längst i utvecklingen. Det är även här som kontraktsformen fått störst popularitet. Avtalstypen brukar innefatta mål för: minimering av energianvändning, en miljövänlig avfallshantering, användning av "grön el" och val av material som minimerar miljöpåverkan vid ombyggnad.

Syftet med studien var att beskriva överensstämmelsen mellan elevernas uppfattning och Carlforsska gymnasiets menade budskap med ?The Carlforsska experience?. Eleverna i detta fall var elever som gick i årskurs åtta på Skiljeboskolan i Västerås. För att beskriva överensstämmelsen gjordes en fallstudie där empiri insamlades genom intervjuer, där det togs reda på om vilka skillnader och likheter som fanns mellan elevernas uppfattning och den varumärkesidentitet som Carlforsska gymnasiet ville förmedla med ?The Carlforsska experience?.
