Utfodringens betydelse för osteokondros hos hund
Osteokondros är en vanlig multifaktoriell sjukdom hos stora och snabbt växande hundraser och kan drabba flera leder så som exempelvis armbågs- och bogleder. En lokal störning i den endokondrala benbildningen i epifysen eller metafysens tillväxtbrosk leder till ojämnheter i brosket, som i sin tur orsakar smärta och hälta. Osteokondros påverkar hundens välfärd såväl som människans användning av hunden. Kunskap om sjukdomsförloppet och faktorer som påverkar sjukdomsutveckling krävs för att förhindra uppkomst av osteokondros.
Den här litteraturgenomgången syftar till att klargöra huruvida utfodring påverkar utvecklingen av osteokondros hos hund och i så fall på vilket sätt. Litteraturstudien har
avgränsats till betydelsen av överutfodring med energi och protein samt över- eller underutfodring med kalcium och fosfor.
För att en normal ledyta ska bildas krävs ett intrikat samspel mellan mekanismerna för skelettillväxt, endokondral benbildning samt benremodulering.

Agriculture buildings and forestry plots are not examined.

This paper aims to examine how and to what extent, a transition of Sweden according to the principles of Omställning Sverige (Transition towns Sweden), have the potential to contribute to a society with increased happiness.The paper is based on a qualitative textual analysis of the key texts in the Swedish Transition towns movement, Omställning Sverige. In the first part of the study the most important transition principles of Omställning Sverige were identified. Four key principles emerged: An altered view of economics, a spiritual change, a stronger local community and increased awareness. These transition principles were then analyzed through the lens of the scientific fields position on happiness, followed by a summarizing conclusion.The altered view of economics which Omställning Sverige advocates, where sustainability and quality of life are priorities over economic Growth, is even necessary to secure our basic physiological needs. Such an economy has also improved conditions for economic stability, high employment and higher efficiency in the sense of happiness promoted in relationship to how many natural resources are used.

According to a report from PriceWaterhouseCoopers and Urban Land Institute, published by Avanza Wealth Management,the three most attractive markets for property investment in Europe are London, Paris and Stockholm. Because of this the authors have focused their investigation on two companies in the London andStockholm. The authors will additionally use an international bank, an estate agent and a consultancy firm for further information, with regards to the property market and risks associated with these typesof investment in particular.
EC Legal Regulation of the Insurance Market; Challenges of Integration
Over the last decade, the private insurance market has undergone a stable Growth in turnover and growing demand for insurance products in all Member States of the European Union. Therefore, the creation of a single market in insurance will enable consumers to have access to wider choice of insurance products, and insurance companies to gain access to markets in various Member States and compete effectively. The EU legal framework for the insurance industry embraces the Treaty freedoms of services, establishment and capital, the EC Directives and the ECJ case-law. The present thesis identifies numerous factors that hinder the Community insurance market integration and offers possible remedies. The summary of the market obstacles is all-inclusive and reflects the responses to the questionnaires and the Commission surveys.

None of the three goals with relation to the construction sector will however be achieved before 2020.

Garbage to gardens : design proposals for two decentralised waste management units in Pune, India
The population Growth and urbanisation in low-income countries bring issues of poor living standards and miserable sanitation conditions onto the agenda. If well-functioning waste management systems were developed, this could master some of the problems. The already existing local informal waste handling system that is common in many low-income countries, needs to be developed with proper sorting and composting solutions to decrease the environmental burden and improve the overall situation in the dense cities.
This master?s thesis project is performed with the intention of developing functional decentralised waste management units in the city of Pune, India.

Bakgrund: E-handel har haft en ständig ökning i Sverige sedan de första företagen startade sina verksamheter. Under de senaste åren har e-handeln visat en betydligt större tillväxttakt än detaljhandeln. Statistik visar att nio av tio konsumenter någon gång har e-handlat vilket tyder på att e-handeln idag är väletablerat bland konsumenterna. En mognare marknad har lett e-handeln in i en ny fas i den konkurrenskraftiga expansionen. Med en expanderad e-handel tillkommer nya utmaningar och problem inom logistik.
Svårklassryttares förberedelser för dressyrträning : för bäst lärande
SUMMARYThere was no previous study in what high level dressage riders had for ideas of how to best prepare for their training sessions with an instructor. Neither any study of how high level dressage riders seemed to be more or less susceptible to the instructions from their instructor during their training sessions. If the sport had more knowledge about this, it might result in more riders on a higher level. The purpose of this study was to find out how high level dressage riders are preparing themselves for the best result for an instructor led training session and how they could bring as much as possible instructions from the coach. The two questions of the study were: How are high level dressage riders preparing themselves for a training session with an instructor, practically and mentally, and how can they affect their susceptibility to instructions?The study was carried out both by reviewing existing literature and studies in general education and pedagogy in the riding education, and by a qualitative interview study of six dressage riders who rode on a difficult level at the competitions, during the year of 2009.

In Europe poplar plantations has been planted for more than one hundred years. In the first plantation was made in 1940. The interest for poplars has since then shifted over the years and has for long periods been very low but is now slowly increasing again. The main reasons why poplars are becoming more interesting are because of their great production potential. Nevertheless, the knowledge of how to mange poplars in Sweden are very low and very little research has been done concerning management of the species.
The objective for this study was to; 1) investigate and document experience and results obtained in practical Swedish forestry, 2) to give a fair picture of the perceived advantages and disadvantages that the poplars has for the forestry, 3) document what the foresters that has experience and those who has no experience of poplar plantations thinks about the potential of poplars.
Folkbiblioteket och marknaden - En diskursanalys av ideologiska konflikter i diskussionen om marknadsanpassning av folkbibliotek
The recent decades have been characterised by a trend where the public sector's been inspired by several methods and strategies from the private sector. The public library is in this case no exception. In this context there are different perspectives on whether or not this will lead to a dramatic change of the role and values of the traditional public library. The aim of this master's thesis is to make a contribution to a deeper understanding of the ideological conflicts within the Swedish public library and its relation to the market. In the literature of library and information science I have identified two separate discourses representing two contradictory systems of meaning concerning this relation.
Varumärkesutvidgning ? En viktig komponent i företagens affärsutveckling
Syfte: Syftet med studien är att analysera och beskriva hur ett företag kan arbeta med varumärkesutvidgning samt identifiera framgångsfaktorer, motgångar och bakomliggande orsaker som kan förekomma vid en varumärkesutvidgning.Metod: Vår studie utgår främst från den kvalitativa metoden. Inledningsvis presenteras ett ramverk för lämplig teori för att vidare kompletteras med intervjuer. Den empiriska delen består av kvalitativa intervjuer med företagen King Salming AB, Salming Sport, Peak Performance, Björn Borg och L`Homme Rouge. Slutsats: Vi har funnit stöd i, att teorin som avser varumärkesutvidgning kan användas i verkligheten. Samtliga bolag följer en varumärkesstrategi där kärnvärden och territorium utgör basen för en varumärkesutvidgning. I de fall där varumärkesutvidgningen inte fungerat som tänkt är det också avståndet till kärnvärdet och territoriet, som är ett av det återkommande problemet.
