Syftet med uppsatsen har varit att undersöka vilka kommunikationsstrategier som används i reklamfilmer för spelbolag samt vilka gemensamma drag och olikheter som finns i de olika spelbolagens marknadsföring då tv-reklam utgör mediet. Jag har i min uppsats besvarat följande frågeställningar:? Hur byggs reklamfilmerna upp för att locka specifika målgrupper att spela på just deras sajter?? Hur gestaltas manligt och kvinnligt i reklamfilmerna?Jag har analyserat fem reklamfilmer från fem olika spelföretag; Karamba, Maria, Jackptjoy, Vera & John samt Mr Green. Jag har analyserat reklamfilmerna utifrån begreppen: humor, metafor, ljud, bild, kvinnlighet och manlighet. Dessa begrepp är formade utifrån Jens Elmelund Kjeldsen, Maria Nikolajeva samt Ulf Dahlqvist och Magnus Lindes teorier om retorik, genusschema och reklamutformning.

Detta arbete inom prestationsmätning av effektiv logistik är utfört på Scanias produktionsenhet MB i Oskarshamn. Denna produktionsenhet tillverkar hytterna till Scanias lastbilar på europamarknaden, från plåtrulle till färdigmålad hyttkaross. Produktionsenheten MB består av en pressverkstad, en karossverkstad och ett måleri.Uppgiften i detta arbete är att utveckla ett antal mätetal för prestationsmätning av MB:s internlogistik, och utifrån dessa ge förslag på förbättringsmöjligheter i verksamheten.Uppgiften löses genom att använda Bourne och Neelys metoder för utveckling av mätetal, så som en framgångskarta för den kritiska framgångsfaktorn effektiv logistik och utformandet av ett definitionsblad, vilket explicit definierar varje mätetal. Detta tillsammans med Parmenters definitioner angående mätetal och arbetssätt vad det gäller prestationsmätning, avser att spegla moderna tillvägagångssätt för prestationsmätning och för implementering av dessa i ett företag.De mätetal som rekommenderas för implementering i MB:s logistiska verksamhet är trucktimmar per hytt, leveranspålitlighet, lageryta, energianvändning per hytt för transporter och materialhanteringskostnad per hytt. Flera förbättringsförslag rekommenderas också vad det gäller den förbättringspotential som finns vid införandet av en gemensam materialhanteringsfunktion på MB.

This thesis provides a good introduction to the American environmental certification system LEED, Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, and trough compar-isons between Sweden and the United States an explanation to the systems design is given. The work is closely linked to a LEED Core & Shell project in Stockholm, Swe-den, where the goal is to reach the second highest rating in LEED - Gold.This thesis gives a broad description of the LEED system and a more profound study of the energy sector, Energy and Atmosphere. Here, for example, an analysis has been made of how the energy consumption of an imaginary building designed according to the requirements of the BBR (Swedish building code) performs in comparison to the Baseline building in LEED.The existing model of Borgarfjord 3, which served as a case study in this work, has al-so been modified to investigate the energy savings that could have been achieved by adding extra insulation to the building. A description of the problems, regarding how the Swedish district heating system (DES) is treated in LEED, is given as well as the suggested modifications. This is an issue that will be pursued during the process of shaping a new, international, version of LEED due to be launched 2012..

Den militära organisationen har såväl historiskt som i nutid haft ett beroendeförhållande till denkommersiella marknaden för försörjning av tjänster och materiel. På senare år har vi sett enpolitisk strävan mot ett utökat inslag av kommersiella lösningar inom den militära strukturen.Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka om en sådan förändring kan komma att påverkainsatsorganisationens förmåga att leverera avsedd operativ effekt. Undersökningen tar sin ansats ipersonalens förtroende för militära kontra privata koncept. Med stöd i traditionell militärteori,systemteori och professionsteori genomförs en enkätundersökning i avsikt att utvärdera om det gåratt finna ett samband mellan förbandets förmåga att avge avsedd effekt och personalens förtroendeför en stödorganisation som de i en utsatt situation står i beroendeställning till.Den övergripande slutsatsen är att detta samband mellan förtroende för stödorganisationen ochförbandets förmåga kan påvisas. Likaledes påvisar undersökningen ett högre förtroende för etttraditionellt militärt förhållningssätt inom logistikorganisationen i samband med en militär insatsän för kommersiella lösningar.

Försvarsmaktens förändring genom reformarbetet mot ett insatt insatsförsvar, har lett till ett fokus mot delvis nya uppgifter. Expeditionära operationer är en sådan uppgift, som innebär förändrade krav och förmågor på materiel och personal. Problemet, som uppsatsen vill belysa, är att vid planering och genomförande är taktiska uppgifter i operationsområdet dimensionerande i för hög grad. På det viset läggs inte tillräcklig kraft på hur förbandet ska komma på plats och hur bäst förutsättningar för uthållighet ska säkerställas över tiden. Det är därför angeläget att en noggrann analys genomförs i planläggningsskedet, så att egna kritiska sårbarheter kan identifieras.Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka vilka kritiska sårbarheter som är tydligast ur ett logistiskt perspektiv, vid en vald expeditionär operation.

Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka vilka effekter luftföroreringar har på lavar och grönalger som växer på lindar, genom att jämföra lavfloran i urban miljö och i landsbygdsmiljö. Mer specifikt var syftet att utreda hur avstånd till närmaste väg, trafikintensitet och trädets exponerade respektive icke-exponerade sida gentemot en väg påverkar lavfloran i urban miljö. 18 utvalda lavarter samt grönalger eftersöktes på 86 lindar i urban miljö och 37 i landsbygdsmiljö inom Norrköpings kommun. Resultaten visade att artantalet, samt förekomsten och täckningsgraden för flertalet lavar var större i landsbygdsmiljö jämfört med urban miljö. Kortare avstånd till närmaste väg och hög trafikintensitet hade negativ effekt på flertalet lavar.

Two species of bees in the genus Apis, real honey bees, has long been of interest for man. These two are the European honey bee, Apis mellifera, and the Asian honey bee, Apis cerana. In Vietnam, beekeeping is of great importance, both with A.cerana and A.mellifera. The aim of this project was to investigate if the introduction of the European honey bee in Asia has affected the Asian honey bee, and whether different pathogens from A.mellifera have been transferred to A.cerana. Totally 40 samples, 20 from every species, were analysed for 8 different viruses.

Operabyggnaden placeras längst ut på piren och tar hela dess udde i anspråk. Operan riktar sig mot staden. Byggnadens storlek och koncept kräver viss rymd och ljus runt sig varför valet av plats blev naturligt. Den stora operavolymen skärs itu i flera delar och de olika volymerna binds sedan samman av en stålkonstruktion som på vissa ställen fungerar som ett orangeri medan den på andra ställen är en öppen pergolastruktur. Växtligheten används som ett material och ger intressanta rum, skuggspel och klimat. Orangeriet/pergolan löper igenom och runt byggnaden och såväl personal som besökare rör sig på gångar genom orangeriet/pergolan och upplever olika typer av rum, på olika nivåer. En önskan med uppdelningen i flera volymer är dels för att få in ljus på ett vackert sätt i en annars djup och mörk byggnad, dels för att försöka bryta ner skalan, samt även för att kunna ge personalen bra arbetsmöjligheter.

This study was performed in collaboration with Moelven Skog AB, Örebro district. The purpose of the study was to review existing literature in order to describe the current status of harvester based measurement technology as the way to provide information for calculating payment to the forest owners. In addition to this, a short survey was conducted to find out how a switch to harvester based measurement would affect the administrative workload on timber purchasers working for the district. The literature study shows that the harvester measurement technology is ready to use if it is combined with well-established routines for control of the harvesters, methods for automatic quality indexing of the timber and ways of creating pricelists specially adapted for harvester measurement. Pricing each stem seems to be the most promising method. Stem pricing has several benefits.

Biodiversity consists of all life on Earth and in all forms. Biodiversity is often discussed at three levels: ecosystem, species and genetic variation within species. Biodiversity also provides many of the ecosystem services performed by nature and that we depend on, including cultural services such as aesthetic values, education and recreation. In Sweden the environmental objectives are central; there are 16 environmental quality objectives, and "A rich plant and animal life" is one of them. Conservation and sustainable use of biological diversity is a prerequisite for achieving also most other environmental objectives. Another environmental quality objective that is tied to a rich biodiversity in cities and biodiversity is "Good built environment" where cities, towns and other built environment should provide a good living habitat and contribute to a good environment.

The essay is written at the request of Nyköping municipality park management by PatRadestedt who wanted a design proposal for one of the five courtyards at the Tessin Schoolin Nyköping. The Tessin School is located 2 miles from the center of Nyköping and the schoolhouses approximately 900 students. To make a design proposal for the courtyard that lies atthe canteen I decided from the outset that I wanted to take some of the Tessin SchoolStudents' opinions and wishes regarding their own outdoor spaces. I had a workshop witheight students from the arts program with the image orientation in which they had to drawand tell them what they wanted to do in the courtyard. The outcome of the workshop, Iused to move forward in my future work with a concept that fit into the environment, wethen apply it in my final design proposal.

A third party access to district heating networks has been proposed in Sweden, to increase the competition on the district heating market. Such third party access could create opportunities for the agricultural sector as an energy producer. This study describes the technical, economical and environmental prerequisites for a farmer cluster to build and run a heating plant, fueled with local wood fuel. The heating plant in the described scenario is 8 MW and will supply a village of 1000 houses, and is fueled with wood chips exclusively. Supplying a heating plant with fuel puts high demands on the logistics, since there need to be a continuous flow of fuel. In the scenario, wood residues from felling and thinning is stored in stacks in the forest, and a few times a year chipped and transported to a storage area at the heating plant. In the study, an estimation of the profitability has been made by estimating the cost of the investment, personnel, operating and maintenance costs and costs for the fuel and ash handling.

ABSTRACTA defect implantation process is the major reason for unexplained infertility. Estrogen andprogesterone are steroid hormones preparing the endometrium for implantation. They mediatetheir effect through their receptors: estrogen receptor alpha and beta and progesteronereceptor A and B, respectively. Leukemia inhibitory factor (LIF), which is also important forimplantation, mediates its effect through LIF receptor and the coreceptor, gp130, and is downregulated by suppressors of cytokine signaling 1. The aim of the study was to compare thelevels of the steroid hormone receptors and LIF related factors in the endometrium of twogroups of women with the diagnosis unexplained infertility: one that became pregnant afterassisted reproduction and one that did not become pregnant.
