The purpose of this bachelor thesis is to examine the similarities and differences between best practice literature regarding digitization and an existing cultural heritage digitization project. It also aims to determine whether this literature is of any help during an actual project of digitization. These results were achieved by examining literature regarding best practices in digitization and analyzing how well an actual project correlates to this advice. The information about the Digidaily project was obtained through two qualitative interviews as well as the project blog. The outcome of our research showed that although there are a great many similarities between theory and practice, the project in question was not helped by literature.

The introduction to this study describes the symptoms of depression and how depression in elders is expressed. It also describes treatment possibilities and nursing aspects of concern.

The study aims to illustrate how women victims of male violence in intimate relationships are treated during the legal process and with professional perspective describe what women?s experiences considered to be in the legal process. The study also aims to draw attention to the interventions for abused women during the legal process.The results are based on interviews with professionals in the justice system, and on observations in the courtroom. Overall our results show that abused women are in need of a great quantity of help and support before, during and after the negotiation. The legal process is very stressful for the women.

This is the thrilling part about fashion, but it is also the part that can create unintentional reactions.In this essay I will examine two garments that have achieved a great amount of media coverage, both in Sweden and abroad. One of them is a jumpsuit from H&M that was criticized because of the resemblance to the uniform worn by the Peshmerga-soldiers in Kurdistan. The other garment is a children?s sweater launched by Zara.

Vi har genomfört en fallstudie på detta område för att undersöka vilken betydelse flyktingar har för konflikterna i regionen.Vi visar hur flyktingströmmarnas karaktär och flyktingskapets utsatthet leder till skärpta etniska spänningar och bidrar till försvagandet av stater. Flyktingarnas osäkra livssituation och kollektiva minnen innebär ett särskilt starkt identitetsbehov, vilket kan leda till ökad etnisk polarisering och gör att de blir lätta att mobilisera politiskt.Flyktingströmmar orsakar ett allvarligt försvagande av stater, eftersom de på ett fundamentalt sätt underminerar statens legitimitet, genom exempelvis deras förlorade förtroende för staten och dess institutioner samt deras inblandning i väpnade attacker mot hemlandet.Generellt uppmärksammas flyktingströmmar oftast bara som en allvarlig konsekvens av konflikter, men vi visar hur de också kan förstås som en starkt bidragande orsak till inomstatlig och regional instabilitet..

During the 19th centaury Liverpool was an industrial city of great magnitude owing to the well-established communication and infrastructure in the area. During the 1950?s the industry decrease swiftly - and although Liverpool as a city gain interest as a result of the sensation of the Merseybeat and The Beatles - the reduction continued through the 70?s and during the 80?s the people of Liverpool suffered from great unemployment. Today Liverpool is a post-industrial city with a growing experience economy that mainly benefits from The Beatles tourism and the Merseybeat-era. The focus of these studies is the experience economy in Liverpool as a result of globalization and production in the late modernity.

This work investigates how educationalists on a multi-cultural school work with language development of bilingually children. The children in both investigated classes have a different mother tongue which means that they have Swedish as a second language, they are bilingually. It?s relevant for me to know if there is any consideration taken for these bilingually children. If yes, then in what way? The method which is used is a two weeks observation of two classes in the third grade, complemented with semi- structured interviews with the two class teachers.

The invention shall be be susceptible of industrial application, which means that it should be possible to reproduce or use in any other industrial way. The reqirement that the invention shall be new means that the technique must not be previously known because of patents, published articles, etc. That an invention shall be a contribution to the state of the art in a technical field means that the invention shall not be obvious to invent for a person skilled in the art. Patents do effect the innovation among the inventers, but in most industries most inventions would be invented independent if there was a patent system or not.

Too implement my investigation i have made interviews and observations in schools and i also hade the chance to spend a hole day with a great artist in India, my impresions was many, and i learned so mutch with this yourney.

Transcending sound design is possible. There are unseen possibilities and a great potential for improvement and development in sound and music design ? but there is a great difficulty penetrating the obstacles that lies in the way for such development to take place and to exist. The difficulties in being negotiable and productive lies more within the limits of the audience it has to gain, than in itself. It is as though music and sound design has to evolve very slowly, in an almost evolutionary style; one step at a time, to be accepted.

The dog has played an important and significant role for mankind throughout history. It's no coincidence that they are known as "Man's best friend". Traditional tasks that the dog has performed include hunting, herding and guarding. In modern times its role has adapted to perform complex tasks in a great number of new areas which many people are not aware of or thinking about. The content of teaching materials considerably affects pupils? attitudes and worldview. This paper is an analysis of textbooks used in 7th through 9th grade of the Swedish School system in Swedish as a Second Language (SSL) and English as a Foreign Language (EFL). The purpose of this paper is to look at which minority groups, the five official national minorities as well as other minorities, are included and portrayed in the textbook series Tre gånger svenska and Wings Mini as well as to see if there is any bias in their portrayal. The seven types of bias investigated; invisibility, stereotyping and generalizations, unreality, imbalance and selectivity, fragmentation and isolation, linguistic bias and cosmetic bias are an adaption of the framework to detect bias in curriculum materials presented by Sadker and Zittleman (2002/2003).
