Den feministiska serien Drift lanserades under våren 2007 av Kolik Förlag som en första del i ett projekt kallat Femisex. Det var en berättelse om sex och relationer och boken innehöll teman som till exempel objektifiering av män och alternativ till heteronormen. Denna uppsats belyser bokens innehåll, format och kommunikationsutmaningarna i mötet med media. Målet med uppsatsen är att undersöka boken ur nämnda aspekter genom formen av en fallstudie för att sedan utveckla och förbättra den externa kommunikationen för framtida boklanseringar..

This paper aims to shine a light on the challenges connected to the implementation of a process focused way of thinking in a public service organization. To this we have conducted a series of qualitative interviews, primarily from participants of a university driven project. The project aims to teach decision making employees of public service organizations how to use process modeling techniques to increase their efficiency. We have also interviewed the teachers who have taught the courses included in the project. As a final point of view we have also interviewed a researcher and IT consultants to compare novice users with experienced users of process modeling techniques.

The project group is participating in a measuring project that is a cooperation between CIT EnergyManagement AB, the Measuring unit of Chalmers and College of Dalarna.The results from the measurementswill be put together and presented in a brochure.When designing the brochure a great deal of planning has been made how to attract the targetgroup.To make the contents of the brochure more attractive, which mainly will contain text, a lot of imageswith a symbolic substance have been used. To keep the brochure together it has been divided into fivechapters that each has been given one specific colour. The colours are consistent on initials, headlinesand images.At the moment the results of the measurements are not yet ready and the text for the brochure is notpossible to complete now. The purpose of this Bachelor's thesis is to study the reasoning behind classification, cataloging and shelf arrangement of nonfiction graphic novels in public libraries. The aim was to examine which aspects of accessibility influence in which collection nonfiction graphic novels are placed.With qualitative semi-structured interviews we learned how six librarians motivated their choices concerning nonfiction graphic novels. We also interviewed a cataloger from Bibliotekstjänst to examine how nonfiction graphic novels are classified. In our analysis we compared our results to theories and practices concerning alternative shelf arrangements in libraries and legitimization of graphic novels. We found three types of shelf arrangements for nonfiction graphic novels: graphic novel shelf, nonfiction classification code and a mix of the two.

Detta examensarbete handlar om stereotyper och dess problematik. Jag har valt att i en process undersöka det kristna utseendet på grund av min egna kristna bakgrund. Det finns ingen fysisk bild av det kristna utseendet vilket gör ämnet intressant och unikt. Genom att undersöka den allmänna uppfattningen om det kristna utseendet har en fysisk bild skapats och exponerats i en handbok som formgivits för att väcka tankar och bemöta våra fördomar. Grafisk formgivning är inte enbart ett verktyg för att sälja produkter.

The streetscape is a complex environment with a lot of different parts and users. If you look at the streetscapes main parts you have floor, walls, roof and furniture. The floor in the streetscape, the street, consists of the ground and the paving. It can be made of a lot of different materials with both architectonic and practical functions. The walls usually consist of the houses. They have a big influence on the streetscape depending on architecture, heights and widths.

Examensarbetet har gått ut på att genom kvalitativa undersökningar ta reda på hur grafisk form ochinformationsstruktur samverkar för att skapa användarcentrerade webbplatser. Målet var att ta fram en grund för huranvändarcentrerade webbplatser bör byggas. Denna grund är tänkt att fungera som riktlinjer för formgivare som villskapa användarcentrerad webbdesign.Studien visar att det viktigaste för att skapa användarcentrerad webbdesign är att involvera användarna kontinuerligti utvecklingsprocessen. Detta sker genom användartester och intervjuer med representanter för målgruppen. Vi harkommit fram till att graden av användbarhet spelar stor roll för hur målgruppen uppfattar webbplatsen som sådan,men också vilken uppfattning de får om företaget bakom..

Vårt projekt är en produktion av en ny dynamisk webbplats åt Tandklinik.se. Syftet med webbplatsen är att den ska vara tilltalande både ur grafisk synpunkt och användarvänlighetsperspektiv. Webbplatsen ska dessutom ha ett komplett administrationssystem där man kan gå in och uppdatera eller lägga till innehåll på huvudsidan. Webbplatsen har funktioner såsom nyhetsbrevsutskick, målgruppsbaserad information och en jobbrekryteringsdel. The following report describes an exploratory work about Furillen,an island that belongs to the area Rute, in northern Gotland. Theproject is a result of a selection of texts taken from the author ClasEngström - my grandfather. He wrote, among other things, about theinhabitants of Rute and their experience and ways of dealing with thedevelopment of their society. Through the use of graphic design I havetried to update the content of some of these texts.Much have changed since my grandfather wrote about Rute, whichgave me further reason to update the topic.In addition to the research, I looked at graphic design?s importancefor interpreting the literary content.

This thesis deals with classification of the subject field history of medicine. The two classification systems SAB and NLM are compared in order to find out which one is the most adequate to organize a small collection of history of medicine. SAB and NLM are the two most commonly used classification systems in medical libraries in Sweden today. NLM classification system specializes in medicine and SAB is a universal classification system. Our purpose with this study is to find out the pros and cons of each system, whether the systems treat the subject history of medicine in a satisfactory way and what kind of classification system that is better for this assignment, a specific one or a general one.

Upphovsmannens ursprungsidé var att skriva ett stycke som skulle kombinera element från influenser inom pop/rock, jazz, västerländsk konstmusik, elektroakustisk musik och ljudkonst. En stilistisk balans var ett önskat resultat för att undvika polystilism och istället hitta ett tonspråk som tar tillvara på upphovsmannens olika influenser.Efter en konsert som genomfördes med hans egna material inom pop/rock, kom en insikt att det fanns, utöver det stilistiska, olika attityder till notation kopplat till musicerande mellan traditionerna afro och klassiskt.Ett experiment utfördes där notationssätt med olika styrningsgrad kunde jämföras. Den så kallade slashnotationen blev en grund för ytterligare notationsmässiga utforskningar i stycket som sedan skrevs.Den stilistiska problematiken i kombinationen av influenserna löstes genom styckets form. Tydlig tematik användes, med teman som hade stilistisk rörlighet. Styckets storform utgörs av en stegrande dynamisk utveckling, kopplat med en stilistisk vandring från konstmusik till mer afro-inspirerad musik.

This paper is about advertising on the Internet using banners. Together with Embryo Webbyrå we have tested a lot of different ways of advertising on the online newspaper of Göteborgs-Posten, gp.se. Two of the web bureau?s existing clients, Resia and Recip, were chosen for the ads and the whole campaign lasted a period of four weeks.By comparing our banners with the consideration of format, color, placement and content we wanted to find an answer to how the most optimal banner would look.Our test result shows that visitors rather do not want to click on a banner, although we think that we have seen some interest and curiousness from visitors in the banners content. Even when the visitor does not click on a banner, the message might be put in mind for a future purchase or act..
