The possibility and the right to be able to communicate with municipalities or other state companies and politicians are natural for the Swedish citizens. However, they may be unaware that this communication process is called citizen dialogue.Today there are so many ways to communicate; one-way communication is not possible in the same way as before. It is above all social media such as Facebook, which has opened the gates one could only dream of.  Via a medium such as Facebook creates a strong citizen dialogue in which the municipality and citizens communicate openly and ask questions and give response.The purpose of this study is to find out how Karlstad?s municipality uses, and maintains, citizen dialogue on Facebook. What are the guidelines and how do the municipality use these? In this paper a qualitative expert interview and a qualitative content analysis has been used to answer the purpose of the essay.

Bakgrund: För att ett företag ska kunna vara framgångsrikt måste det kunna motivera sina anställda att uppnå de uppsatta målen. En förutsättning för detta är att målkongruens mellan individernas och företagets mål skapas. Detta kan med fördel göras genom utformandet av olika belöningssystem. Vanligt är också att företag i jakten på effektivitet söker den optimala organisationsformen genom att tillämpa olika grader av decentralisering.Syfte: Syftet med uppsatsen är att utreda hur decentraliseringsgraden påverkar utformningen av ett belöningssystem.Genomförande: Intervjuer har genomförts med sju personer vardera i Handelsbanken respektive Telia, vars organisationer anses representera två olika grader av decentralisering. Respondenterna har även befunnit sig på olika nivåer i respektive organisation.Resultat: Studien visar på ett antal aspekter vilka har en betydande roll i utformningen av olika belöningssystem.

Detta projekt är utfört vid Kvaerner Kamfab AB i Karlstad och beskriver hur strukturering av företagets elsystem har utförts i form av uppmärkning och dokumentation. Detta skall ligga till grund för en effektivisering vid ombyggnation av ställverket..

The purpose of this paper is to view Karlstad Municipality and their financial support to non-profit organizations within equestrian sports. Despite the varying representatives of various equestrian sports in Karlstad, there seems to be a single beneficiary within the sport when it comes to financial support from the municipality. The policies and plans concerning cultural development are directly compared to the Karlstad Municipality and its contribution to these organizations within equestrian sports. Through interviews and reports I have studied the process of financial support from the Karlstad municipality using an intersectionality theory based on Nina Lykkes guide on gender studies and feminist theory. Pierre Bourdieu?s theories on field, habitus and capital are also used as a method to enhance the understanding of equestrian sports and its role in modern Swedish society. The conclusion is that the Karlstad Municipality is, for a several of reasons, promoting non-profit organizations within equestrian sports, which are operating as riding schools.

This thesis represents my individual final research in Societal Risk Management. The aim of the study is to research whether the method called Responsible Beverage Serving has had the desired effect of diminished alcohol-related violence in Karlstad City, after its implementation into the ordinary operational agenda for Karlstad district in the county of Wermland. According to the method, the alcohol-related damages as well as alcohol-related violence in a society can be reduced by refusing to serve minors and clients who are excessively intoxicated.In order to be able to reach the aim of the thesis, the subsequent questions must be answered;Has excessive drinking reduced in the bars and clubs in Karlstad City?Has it become more difficult for minors to be served alcohol in the bars and clubs in Karlstad City?Has the police reported amount of assaults outdoors diminished regarding the alcohol-related violence in Karlstad City?This research is an intervention study and uses a quasi-experimental design. The intervention itself is the method called Responsible Beverage Serving.

This study shows how city planners and politicians in Karlstad plans different parts of the city, what type of model/ city ideals they use when planning, and how it is expressed. The study was made using a qualitative method, were a discourse analysis was vital for the elected planning document and blog posts. Qualitative interviews were also made with five people with significant meaning, who hold different positions in the city planning of Karlstad. In the produced material, it appears that the city planners and politicians in Karlstad are planning for traditional city ideals as a foundation in the planning, with influence from new ideas as for example sustainable planning and economic growth. In some parts of the city a modern and rational planning remains.

A home for elderly is planed to be built at Zakrisdal, Karlstad, Sweden. The heat source for the building was at the time not determined. In order by the local government of Karlstad this report is meant to examine if the need of heat could be provided only by solar heat combined with a seasonal heat storage. The problem to solve is, if the need of heat from the home for elderly is provided from only solar heat, whitch dimensions of the solar collectors and the storage is needed?.

Passivhus har krav på uppvärmningsbehovet samtprimärenergiförbrukningen. En princip för passivhus är att de inte ska vara krångligare ellerobekvämare att bo i än vanliga hus.Lindås Park är ett bostadsområde som består av 20 st. radhus som ligger en bit utanförGöteborg. Radhuset klarar kraven för ett passivhus, det enda värmesystem som är installeratär en eftervärmare till FTX-systemet på 900 W.De passiva hus som byggts i Sverige har gemensamt är att de ligger i södra delen av Sverigeeller nära kusten, dvs.

Sverige är idag ett av få länder som fortfarande har kvar ett alkoholmonopol. När Sverige gick med i EU startade en diskussion kring det monopol som Systembolaget har, vilket än idag är aktuellt i flera avseenden. Författarna blev intresserade av ämnet när det offentliggjordes att apotek samt järnvägsmonopolen i Sverige är på väg att avvecklas. Den fråga som ansågs vara aktuell för den egna uppsatsen, var att undersöka hur de lokala livsmedelshandlarna i Karlstad ställer sig till en eventuell avreglering av alkoholmonopolet. Vidare valde författarna att undersöka de kringliggande faktorerna som skulle spela in på en eventuell konkurrens situation, vilket i detta fall var den idag ensamma aktörer Systembolaget, samt Karlstad Kommun då de fick agera talesperson för de förordningar och bestämmelser som i dagsläget finns.
