The purpose of this study will be to elucidate how service companies can apply the use of sevenfundamental features supporting service quality in their quality assurance; recruitment and selection; training, teamwork; empowerment; performance appraisals and rewards; communication, and culture (of the organization). Furthermore, we will illustrate how the type of business entity, organizational structure and organizational resources afflicts the seven features.Method: Method: We will, from a hermeneutic point of view, apply and qualitative deductive research method. Data have been collected through a case study. The data have been transcribed and the analytical method has been selected based on the conducting purpose.

I work with and through glass and it´s from this field and tradition my work springs from. I am interested in how we look at and judge different expressions. I have been taught what visual expressions and shapes that are being appreciated and accepted and how to create objects like that. It should be clean, smooth, simplistic, and utterly pleasing. I recognize these attributes from what is being thought of as beautiful and desirable concerning the body.

Drawing on earlier research, and using observations as the method, this study presents a design of a nature playscape for children. Applying outdoor pedagogy to the fundamental structure of a specific location, the study proposes a design of a playscape, over a more obvious design, for instance one based around a quiz walk.The theoretical framework is Gibson?s theory of affordance, and the goal has been to create a "play flow". The study concludes that spatial rhetorics can be an important tool when teaching children about nature..

The aim of this study was to explore to what extent homosexual families are represented when a child is given a foster home. The nuclear family has throughout history been assured a stable position both in society as well as in the foster care practice. During the last ten years a homosexual relationship has been legaly accepted through different amendents and it has also been more integrated and accepted in society.

Dwellings and offi ces are built and the population increase heavily. Th isresult in a need to look at how public green areas can develop and be designed. Th epurpose is to design a proposal for a master plan of S:t Göranområdets public greenareas. Exploateringskontoret, Stockholm stad, who has initialized the task, claim thatthere is a need of clarifying and shield the qualities in the green areas of today and howto create new green structure.The problem formulations which are current in this master thesis are:? Is there a need of a distinct identity for the green areas of S:t Göransområdet? If so,how is this created?? How can the green parks and nature areas inside S:t Göransområdet be improved anddevelop?? How can the connections between the green areas inside S:t Göransområdet beclarifi ed and how can they connect to the surroundings?To get inspiration and information for the design this thesis include a study of theincluding parts in the design process.

The aim of this essay is to analyze how students are constituted as subjects in local curricula. The theoretical perspective is grounded in Michel Foucault?s notion of governmentality and power/knowledge and his critique of a sovereign subject. From this theoretical perspective I use Foucault?s concept of formation of objects and Ernesto Laclau and Chantal Mouffe?s idea of subject positioning as tools for a discourse analysis.

Samverkan (alignment) är en allt mer betydelsefull pusselbit i det som idag utgör en framgångsrik verksamhet. Ur ett strategiskt perspektiv är IT-styrning en stor del i denna framgång. IT-styrning är en av flera komponenter nödvändiga för att åstadkomma samverkan mellan IT och verksamhet och den har därmed en viktig roll i att få denna att fungera.Denna studie tittar närmre på den specifika roll IT-styrning har i att åstadkomma IT/Verksamhetssamverkan. Genom en kvalitativ ansats, bestående av sex djupintervjuer, har 15 framgångsfaktorer och 15 utmaningar som existerar inom IT-styrning identifierats.

Creditors? risks do not only concern individual relations between the two parties but the economy in general. The study aims to investigate Swedish fitness companies positioning and strategic choices when internationalising in the Scandinavian countries and what has influenced this choice. Furthermore, the corporate risk and what obstacles they encountered will be examined.The study was conducted as a qualitative study with a deductive approach. The results are based mainly on primary data from interviews, as well as secondary data.The fitness companies? choice of strategy in internationalisation depends largely on its concept and positioning. The main obstacles in the internationalisation process are lack of communication, language difficulties and regulations.

The Kedertruss is the loadbearing part in the Keder weatherprotectionsystem and it has been analyzed concerning its loadbearing capacity. The Kedertruss is produced and manufactured by Wilhelm Layher GmbH & Co. KG and this report has been made for their Swedish division Layher AB.  The Kedertruss, designed in Germany according to German designcode, has been recalculated concerning Swedish conditions according to Eurocodes and a ongoing European standardization project. The two-dimensional program Winstatik Frame Analysis has been used for evaluation of load effects. Capacity has been calculated by hand-calculations and it has been verified that the Kedertruss in its larger spans isn?t able to withstand the loads.

The aim with this essay is to find out what the expected changes in the subject physics will lead to for teachers and their pupils in ?gymnasiet?. The new fields we have chosen to focus on are electronic structure of condensed matter, nanotechnology and material physics. By studying earlier used curricula and textbooks, we illustrate what teachers may have come into contact with in their teaching careers. The main focus lies on what teachers claim to know about the fields mentioned above and if there is a need for further education.

The objective with this essay was to compare the modern epistolary novel Priority by danish author Iselin C. Hermann with the epistolary genre during its heyday in late seventeenth to early nineteenth century. I especially looked at gender: the similarities and differences between the female character in Priority and the female characters during the epistolary novels days of glory. I concluded that Priority has the same structure, characteristics as the heyday epistolary novel and that the female character does not have any typical similarities with its stereotypical female characters. In addition I also came to the conclusion that she is reminiscent to their original model Héloïse and follows the epistolary novels heyday convention when she dies at the end of the novel..

In this paper I have examined how the structure of society affects the characters in the movies of Gus Van Sant, and what there is that characterizes Van Sant as an auteur. I have also looked at the thematics and how the characters develop throughout from his first movie Mala Noche (US 1985) until one of his latest Milk (US 2008). Van Sant is open with his Homosexuality and those perspectives are of major importance for this study. He presents how his characters try to live a normal life in a society that is not made for them. I have chosen to analyze five different movies.

Syftet med uppsatsen ämnar till att genom en fallstudie undersöka hur och med vilka medel som staten hanterar konkurrerande markanvändning. Fördjupningen i ämnen sker genom en analyserande fallstudie om hur policyverktyget riksintresse appliceras i praktiken. En djupare analys är gjord av hur länsstyrelsen i Västerbotten använt sig av policyverktyget då fallen om de oförenliga riksintressena gruvnäring och rennäring skulle värderas emot varandra i områdena kring Rönnbäcken i Storumans kommun och Stekenjokk i Vilhelmina kommun.Studien undersöker de svårigheter som kan uppstå i bedömningsprocesserna med ett svagt formulerat policyverktyg, när två riksintressen vill använda samma markområden och där ingen samexistens ses som en möjlig lösning. I uppsatsen redogörs det hur Länsstyrelsen i Västerbotten, tillsammans med berörda sektorsmyndigheter handlat och fattat beslut i två fall, i Rönnbäcken inom Storumans kommun och Stekenjokk inom Vilhelmina kommun, vilka problem som identifieras och vad som blir följderna av ett policyverktyg som inte motsvarar behoven som ställs i dagens samhälle. Utöver detta så lyfts slutligen problemet om urfolksrättigheter att bedriva sin traditionella näring, som i detta fall strider mot tillämpningen av riksintressen..
