There is respect for the history of dance and my aim is to find out how the history affects the dancing youth today. The design of the dance lesson is often of a traditional stereotypical manner, both didactic and methodic, and it rarely appears to be questioned. I have danced for almost 20 years and I am a part of this tradition of movements, music, language and way of ?being?. My ambition with this study is to go outside my own experience and offer insight and an overall picture of a, for the outsider, closed world.

This thesis investigates how lobbying influences the European Union Strategy for Sustainable and Circular Textiles (2020-2025). It asks which actors dominate, what strategies they use, and how these patterns can be explained by pluralism, corporatism, new institutionalism, and Kl?ver?s exchange logic. Using a qualitative case study with process tracing and text analysis, the study examines consultation data, official EU documents, and transparency reports. Findings show that commercial actors dominate consultations and expert groups, prioritising product-focused measures over systemic change, while transparency gaps enable informal influence.

Däremot finns det ett annat perspektiv, genom att förtäta och blanda funktioner blir även störningarna i samhället större. En av dessa störningar är buller, som de senare åren har fått stark uppmärksamhet då det kopplats till många hälsoproblem. Målen med den täta staden och buller är inte förenliga.

<p>This explorative study examines approximately one hundred electronic library homepages. It focuses on four aspects: form, content, structure and user support. Form relates to the presentation of information and is concerned with the relationship between text and graphics. Content refers to the type of information and services that an electronic library offers. Structure is concerned with the guiding principles that have motivated the grouping of information and services on the homepages.

This paper investigates the relationship between dividends and institutional and foreign ownership in Swedish firms. We use a dataset which covers the Swedish stock market over the period 1999-2009. The institutional ownership is defined as mutual funds, pension funds and insurance companies and these are analysed separately. The study confirms the expected positive relationship between the level of institutional investors in a firm and the size of dividends. We also confirm? the expected negative relationship between foreign investors and the size of dividends paid by Swedish firms.

In theory, the logic behind partnerships is simple: All organisations have strengths, but no organisation has all the strength required to do everything. Triggered by global perspectives and challenged by sustainability objectives, the United Nations Conference on Environment and Development (UNCED) in Rio de Janeiro in 1992 pointed out needs for corporate responsibility. In this conference, Private-public partnership, PPP, was identified as a potential way to work towards sustainability, especially as a way to emphasize a corporate responsibility commitment. Nowadays, organizations exist to satisfy the needs and interests of all their stakeholders, such as customers, markets, shareholders, as well as secondary stakeholders such as media, NGOs, and society at large. Addressing all stakeholders and working towards a sustainable business development makes PPP a potential solution, but also a source of challenges.

Principles that guide how a classification system should be structured have existed for more than a century. Traditional classification principles can be of great value for the design of classification schemes directories on the web. However, there are differences between the library context in which these principles originated, and the web. This thesis aims at investigating how changes in the context of classification affect the application of traditional principles of classification on the web. Another purpose is to see what implications this has for the design of classification schemes on the web.

The digital flexor tendon sheath (DFTS) is an important anatomical and functional structure in the horse. Disorders of the DFTS can result in devastating consequences for the horse. During the last decade, the possibilities to diagnose and treat disorders of the DFTS have been argumented. Purpose: The purpose of this interview study was to describe the nurses? view of their experiences of interaction with other professionals to improve the elderly patient's nutritional status in municipal elderly care.Method: The study is based on qualitative interviews with nine nurses and was analyzed according to a qualitative content analysis method.Results: The main themes that emerged: Communication among the involved, To feel secure in their role, Lack of structure. The nurses worked closely with nursing staff and cooperated more with doctors about nutrition than with the physiotherapist and occupational therapist. The nurses felt they had the main responsibility for maintaining a good nutritional status of the elderly patient and described themselves as primarily responsible for nutrition while they lacked nutritional competence equal to the responsibilities they had during the whole nutrition process. The nurses had no community dietitian?s skills and felt that the dietitian had a great responsibility and the most updated knowledge in diet and nutrition.

Den här uppsatsen besvarar frågan om hur den svenska bredbandsstrategin är tänkt att förverkligas och hur ansvarsfördelningen ser ut mellan de inblandade aktörerna. Uppsatsen undersöker även mer specifikt hur ansvarsfördelningen och hanteringen ser ut gällande inkludering och exkluderingen vid deltagandet i byanäten. För att kunna besvara syftet utförs en fallstudie i Uppsala län där fyra stycken kvalitativa intervjuer genomförs med de inblandade parterna: Länsstyrelsen, Tierps kommun, Lidén Data Gruppen samt ett byalag i Månkarbo. Det genomförs även en diskursanalys på utvalda dokument publicerade av regeringen. Detta för att se om landsbygdsborna, i bredbandsutbyggnaden, tillskrivits någon roll och i så fall även hur den rollen motiveras.

Problem. With the Swedish public sectors problem with efficiency in mind, several reforms have beeninitiated during the last decades. These reforms go, in academic contexts, under the name?New public management?. The reforms have resulted in, among other things, an increasedcompetition, privatization and goal-orientation in the public sector.

My work has been an investigation project with focus on reproduction, method, structure and visual representation. The goal was to investigate how a story changes through time and space as well as how graphic design can affect a story depending on the visual representation. The result is a publication, an exploration of these subjects with the help of the book Expedition Kon-Tiki. Using more or less controlled methods of selections I have created different sorts of reproductions of the expedition. Just as subjective as reality itself..

In my project, Cups on the run, I have studied the relationship between ceramic utility objects and different environments, when moving them off the table. My background as a potter has been the starting point. From there, I wanted to see if I could expand my craft to the space beyond. With the cup, which for most people has a clear function and a relation to us human, in repetitive structure I explored the spatiality and architecture in various environments. Life fascinates me through how everything is made up of tiny parts that together create the tangible and intangible.

The purpose of this project was to find an understanding for why public agents working with introduction of immigrants have decided to co-operate and co-ordinate their efforts. Another purpose was to gain insights in what characterizes this co-operation.Seven interviews were made with practitioners working with these questions on national-, regional- and local levels. The material gathered in this process was then analysed using governance theory and more specific the parts dealing with Joined- up government and Whole- of Government. Two analytic tools were used in the analysis: wicked problems and network.The first of these, wicked problems, was made operational by the use of insecurities. Analysing the interviews along these lines proved very useful in explaining why public agents have decided to try to work together.
