Syftet med litteraturstudien var att beskriva barns, föräldrars och andra vuxnas tankar om barns kost, fysiska aktivet, övervikt och fetma. Syftet var vidare att beskriva vilken vägledning föräldrarna får av vårdpersonal. Sökorden som användes var child, children, childhood, obesity, prevention, health promotion, information, results, primary care, perceptions, care, nurse, qualitative, quantitative, fetma, övervikt och barn. Resultatet baserades på sju stycken kvalitativa artiklar, tio stycken kvantitativa artiklar samt en litteraturstudie som söktes i ELIN@Dalarna, www.google.se, www.fhi.se och på www.sbu.se och som därefter granskades av uppsatsförfattarna. I denna litteraturstudie framkom att barns inställning till mat och fysisk aktivitet är beroende på deras ålder.

The purpose for this Masters thesis is to describe childrens librarians work in supplying literature to children with emphasis on easy-reader materials. Our main questions are: · What do librarians believe characterizes an easy-reader book, and what do they base their decision on when classifying a book as easy-to-read? · How have the libraries in our study solved the hands-on difficulties associated with easy readers childrens literature? · Which factors do librarians consider to be important when supplying literature to children that are not used to reading or are not good readers? The theories we have used are Aidan Chambers Reading Circle and Karner Smidts view on the librarians professional roles when supplying literature. We have used a case study method, which means that we have gathered information through observation, objective papers and interviews. This has been done at six libraries.

Detta för att ge patienter en större rörelsefrihet i behandlad struktur vid kinesiotapeapplicering. Behandling med kinesiotape var ett nytt alternativ för sjukgymnaster i Sverige och världen över. Det fanns ett lågt vetenskapligt stöd för att kinesiotapen var effektiv som behandlingsmetod. Syfte: Syftet med studien var att undersöka svenska sjukgymnaster med kinesiotapeutbildnings kliniska erfarenheter av kinesiotape.

The Nord Stream natural gas pipeline has been a controversial project. The debate was primarily escalated by Poland's strong negative reaction to the project in the spring of 2006 over safety and security and then alternated back and forth in Europe until the approval by the nations most concerned in the Baltic region during the autumn of 2009.In the case study an approach is used that primarily maps out the media image of the various viewpoints that deal with the pipeline and how these viewpoints position themselves, primarily through political and environmental dimensions. Simultaneously there?s an attempt to map out the spatial spread of the media image views as to the proximity and distance to the pipeline in Sweden, Poland and Germany. A key question is whether distance or proximity to a large facility can affect people's attitudes.A parallel focus of the study is to explore the role of the Nord Stream natural gas pipeline in the cross-border hinterland region of Szczecin-?winouj?cie.

I Sverige kan man för närvarande skönja ett ökat intresse för matlagning. Detta reflekteras bland annat i ett ökat utbud av matlagningsprogram i tv och antalet sökningar efter recept på Google uppgår till nästan 2 miljoner varje månad, enbart i Sverige. Samtidigt slängs ungefär 25 % av all mat som inhandlas och många föräldrar uppger att de känner att det är svårt att experimentera mera i köket.I ett försök att uppmuntra till experimentering i köket och samtidigt minska matsvinnet har det i denna uppsats implementerats och testats en proof of concept metod för att rekommendera ingredienser som passar tillsammans. Tesen är att om användare får ett stöd med kombinationer av ingredienser som passar tillsammans kommer de så småningom att våga experimentera mera med sin matlagning.Flera algoritmer analyserades men algoritmen som implementerats bygger på en viktning av ingredienserna i PlanEatSmiles receptdatabas. När en ingrediens förekom tillsammans med en annan i ett recept ökades vikten med 1.

Animal welfare in Sweden has gone through major changes during the later years. In 2004, Swedish Animal Welfare Agency took over the central responsibility for the animal welfare from the Swedish Board of Agriculture, and in 2007 the board again became the central authority for animal welfare in Sweden.Even the practical supervision has changed, from the 1 of January 2009 the supervision is to be performed by the county administrative boards, instead of by the individual municipalities. Since 2006 every horse in the European Union has to have an identification card, in Sweden called a ?horse passport? which describes the color and markings of the horse as well as any veterinary treatments.The ELOF-project, a collaborative project between the Swedish Board of Agriculture and the county administrative boards, intends to make the animal welfare supervision effective, standardised, fair and risk-based. Because of the takeover of the supervision and of the ELOF-project the Örebro County Administrative Board has began to make an inventory of the number of horses and horsefarms in the county. Another Ethology and Animal Welfare-student and I did, in collaboration with the county administrative board created a checklist that in connection with the inventory will lead to a risk-based animal welfare supervision.
