Equality is a central aspect within development work. All development work is expected to be influenced by a gender equalty thinking, and these directions are distributed by the Department of Foreign Affairs, through Sida to Forum Syd and down to the very grasroot level, through Forum Syds local cooperation organisations. The essays question of research is a reflection over empowerment, with other words how international organisations influence other societies understanding of the society dynamics. This aspect triggered my interest for the subject, aswell as the link between aid, equality and men, and how these factors are in need of eachother. My study is mainly build on theoretical starting points, and not on earlier studies.

I takt med medias ökande rapportering om klimatfrågor har samhällets förståelse och intresse för hållbarhetsfrågor vuxit. Det har även företagen noterat och antalet företag som väljer att upprätta hållbarhetsredovisningar för att kommunicera ut vilket ansvar de tar utifrån de tre aspekterna ekonomi, miljö och socialt ökar årligen. I och med den ökade efterfrågan på hållbarhetsredovisningar ställs också högre krav på kvaliteten och tillförlitligheten på redovisningarna. För att uppnå ökad tillförlitlighet används externa granskare i form av revisorer. Att upprätta en hållbarhetsredovisning är frivilligt för de flesta företag vilket har lett till att företagen ser en chans att förbättra sitt rykte och att ge en förskönad bild av sin verksamhet.

The world?s consumption is increasing at an accelerating rate and it´s produced and consumed more goods and services than ever before. A large part of people's consumption consists of clothing that is bought and discarded increasingly leading to a number of environmental problems such as Global warming, pollution, loss of biodiversity and the depletion of natural assets. One way to save the earth's resources is to buy used clothing, so called second hand, instead of new ones. The store chain ?The Ants? (in Swedish ?Myrorna?) has specializing in second-hand goods and sells, among other things, clothes.

Purpose: We have three purposes that will answer our problem questions. Our first purpose is to identify how diversification effects for investors changed between emerging markets and developed markets in the period 1996-2010. Our second purpose is to examine the two crises, IT and financial crisis, and if the correlations between these two crises have changed. Our third purpose is to examine to what extent the Swedish stock market was influenced by other markets in the period 1996-2010, the IT and financial crisis.Methodology: The method is based on an analytic model consisting of two tools; Regression- and Correlation analysis. The Regression analysis will be used when investigating if a change in a foreign stock market affects a change on the Swedish stock market.

Då ett företag väljer att expandera till en ny marknad är det generellt ett sätt attskapa nya marknadsmöjligheter och för att öka sin försäljning. Innan etablering på nymarknad är det viktig att identifiera sin målgrupp. På den konkurrenskraftiga internationellamarknaden ligger makten inte längre hos leverantören, utan hos kunden.Distributionskanalvalet spelar en stor roll i avseende att nå företagets tänkta målgrupp.

Background: With an increased Global market, where companies seek capital abroad, the demand for a more uniform accounting standard has been raised. This uniform accounting standard is not yet available, differences between accounting standards still exists. Several Swedish companies seek risk capital in the USA and some are part of a concern that is listed on the American stock exchange. This means that the Securities and Exchange Commission requires the companies to do a reconciliation to US GAAP on those items that are considered material. This can be an extensive work for the companies if the knowledge about the differences between Swedish GAAP and US GAAP does not exist.

Sojabönor är en Global gröda med odlingar i bland annat Brasilien, Kina och USA och i de köttsubstitut som säljs i Sverige baseras ungefär hälften av dem på sojaprotein. I Sverige domineras baljväxtodlingen av ärter och åkerbönor som blir djurfoder och odlingarna av baljväxter för humankonsumtion är mindre omfattande. Konsumenter i Sverige har dock fått ett ökat intresse för livsmedel med svenskt ursprung. För att öka variationen i den svenska baljväxtodlingen, bemöta konsumenters efterfrågan på inhemska livsmedel och minska miljöpåverkan i länder där sojabönorna produceras, har bondbönors möjligheter till att ersätta sojabönor i köttsubstitut undersökts. Metoden har varit en litteraturstudie som har kompletterats med en kvalitativ intervju med en person som är marknadsansvarig på ett köttsubstitutföretag.Kemiska föroreningar i naturen, minskad biodiversitet och för stor färskvatten användning är tre Globala problem som uppmärksammats i Kina, USA och/eller Brasilien.

In the Global and rapidly changing society Environmental scanning is becoming a more and more important tool. Today it is not the availability of information that controls an organizations behavior, but the information that the organization chooses to absorb. This is the case for a multinational cooperation as well as for the local golf club. Swedish golf clubs have during the last 100 years had an amazing development and today there are almost 600 000 registered Swedish golf players. The development has however stopped and even declined some during the last couple of years.

This paper aims to deepen the understanding of how the European Council frames the climate crisis and its implications for political legitimacy and policymaking. The climate crisis is one of the most pressing challenges of our time, influencing not only environmental systems but also societal structures and governance. By analyzing the European Council?s framings during the 2019?2024 strategic agenda, this research investigates how political actors shape narratives to justify actions and policies in response to the climate crisis. Through a discourse analysis of official Council conclusions, using a framework drawing on six typologies of framing, the research examines the Council's evolving narrative in the context of multiple crises, including the COVID-19 pandemic and the war in Ukraine.

Abstract:The old established description gunboat diplomacy has in modern time changed to a broader and more nuanced definition called maritime diplomacy. But what is maritime diplomacy and how is it described? This essay analyses the theories from the Englishman James Cable and the American Edward Luttwak. Both Cable and Luttwak represent nations which have a Global security interests and deploy their maritime forces worldwide. The foundation for their theories is power politics.

Thiswork is about the parents ' perception of their children's schooling and schoolsituation. It also addresses the important and fundamental conditions when itcomes to parenting and caring of children, which is an essential andcontributory basis for children's school situation. The work also deals withthe importance of good cooperation between school and home for the children tocome to the school grounds and with the desire to learn and develop. The aim ofthis work is that through a survey get a picture of how parents feel abouttheir child's school situation. But also look at how important interplaybetween school, parents and children to the school situation to be good.

Cultivable land is a limited resource and agriculture contributes to some of the most serious environmental problems facing the planet like, Global warming, eutrophication and loss of biodiversity. The specialized, industrial agriculture with monoculture and extensive input of external energy, commercial fertilizer, and chemical pesticides are all essentially unsustainable. An adaptation to other methods of production is necessary to preserve the environment for future generations. The aim of this study is to describe the factors that distinguish sustainable from unsustainable agriculture. The results will be used to examine if and how the European Union (EU) works in order to create a more sustainable agricultural industry and to analyze the preconditions for such development.

Syfte: Syftet med denna uppsats är att analysera och systematisera vilka drivkrafter som är aktuella idag gentemot tidigare framtagna drivkrafter, för publika företag, för att upprätta en hållbarhetsredovisning.Metod: I denna uppsats har den kvalitativa arbetsmetoden tillämpats. Vi ansåg att den kvalitativa metoden var mer tillämpbart på vår studie då vi hade avsikt att på en djupare förståelse för företagens drivkrafter bakom hållbarhetsredovisningen. Vi har valt att genomföra semistrukturerade intervjuer i form utav både ett personligt möte och via telefon.Empiri: Det sammanställda resultatet från vår undersökning är att det finns en hel del olika drivkrafter bakom företagens hållbarhetsredovisningar. Majoriteten utav företagens drivkrafter är likadana, skillnaden är inte betydande.. Många utav drivkrafterna från tidigare gjord forskning är inte förekommande idag.Slutsats: Slutsatsen med denna studie är att drivkrafterna till varför publika företag upprättar en hållbarhetsredovisning till en viss del skiljer sig gentemot tidigare framtagna drivkrafter.

The aim of this study is to describe, from a didactic point of view, wether gender norms are challenged and sex equality is maintained when two teachers in grade one communicate with their pupils. This is based on the existing norms in our society which generates into certain expectations of how one should act depending on wether you are a girl or a boy. In addition to this, the lack of equality between women and men is a Global question. The norms and conditions in society are reproduced, but can also be deconstructed in school (Martinsson and Reimers 2008, p. 8).

If one looks at physical planning in Sweden today one can see that while talking about densification of existing development, reduced emissions and careful use of important land, urban sprawl is a fact with development of sheer residential districts in the urban edges and shopping malls in each and every municipality. As sustainable development is an essential goal for physical planning to strive towards, it is worth questioning if the direction of today?s planning will lead to the goal. A sustainable development can be seen as an obvious to goal aim at. In reality the aim means a hard and complex work.
