Syftet med min uppsats är att undersöka betydelsen av begreppet situering, så som den formulerats inom feministisk teoribildning, i förståelsen av den ekologiska krisen, samt att peka på feminismens roll i en era av global klimatförändring. Utifrån en mängd (eko-) feministiska teorier närmar jag mig kritiskt ett dominerande epistemologiskt ramverk som jag menar förnekar vår situering. I uppsatsens analysdel granskar jag situeringsbegreppet utifrån tre underteman: 1) Natur, 2) Kropp, och 3) Kunskap. I det första avsnittet gör jag en kort utredning av naturbegreppet, i den andra undersöker jag kroppslighetens roll i hur vi relaterar till naturen, och i den tredje analysdelen tar jag upp hur förståelsen av mänskliga relationer till det vi kallar naturen, är beroende av ståndpunkt. Dessa underteman, belyser olika men sammanvävda dimensioner av hur vi är situerade i världen.

The report is a building evaluation of an area south of Karlskoga`s urban area on the west side of the lake Möckeln, known as the western Möckelnstranden. This paper seeks to discern the political factors that determine the results of negotiations in international cooperation. On the one hand, it makes a contribution to the broader theoretical debate on international regimes by combining regime theory and theories on globalisation into an integrated framework for the analysis of international policy results, or in this case treaties (theoretical objective). More generally, globalisation theory will help us understand why it has become important to initiate international cooperation, and regime theory to elucidate how these international cooperations emerge. To many observers, it is the large transnational corporations of the rich North, which have done best out of free trade. Through the huge influence they wield over governments at the WTO (World Trade Organisation), these corporations have won the freedom to move around the globe without restriction, making use of cheap labour, and locating wherever they can best tap into the largest and most lucrative markets.

För att ha möjlighet att använda lastfartyg måste det finnas hamnar. Hamnens uppgift är att vara den sammankopplade länken mellan sjötransporter och landtransporter. Syftet med denna studie är att titta på svenska hamnar och belysa de faktorer som påverkar hamnarnas utveckling. Med en ökad global handel och effektivare transporter är det viktigt att hamnen följer med i den utveckling som sker.Denna kvalitativa studie handlar om Gävle Hamns och Stockholms Hamns utveckling. Dessa skiljer sig åt då Gävle Hamn utvecklar godstrafiken och Stockholms Hamn i huvudsak utvecklar passagerartrafiken.

Det här arbetet handlar om den globala handeln med Liquefied Natural Gas, LNG.LNG är naturgas som har gjorts flytande och består till mer än 90 % av metan. Sedanden första kommersiella transporten ägde rum år 1959 har den globala handeln avLNG ökat. Mellan 1980-2011 ökade den globala handeln av LNG med nära 1000 %.Under samma tidsperiod har den globala kända naturgasreserven ökat med mer än150 %. Antalet exportörer och importörer av LNG förutspås att öka i framtiden ochunder 2010 kondenserades ca 10 % av världens totala utvinning av naturgas för attexporteras i form av LNG. Focus i det här arbetet har lagts på att kartläggaimporterande och exporterande länder samt rederier som sköter själva sjötransportenav LNG.En kartläggning har gjorts med syfte att beskriva samt förklara den globala handelnmed LNG.

AbstractThe main aim of this study was to investigate if four humour styles, affiliative, self-enhancing, aggressive, and self-defeating humour can be related to all five dimensions of the Big Five Factor Model of personality and study if gender has any influence on those relation-ships. A survey questionnaire was distributed among 72 individuals from Kalmar County, in the South-east of Sweden. There were 42 women and 30 men. A humour test questionnaire, Humour Scale Questionnaire (HSQ), with 32 items was used and the Big Five Factor test with 40 items was used for personality test. The results showed that men have a more aggressive humour than women and that the older we get the less affiliative and self-enhancing humour we have.

This Master of Science thesis was completed at the Department of Machine Design at the Royal Instituteof Technology in Stockholm in collaboration with Lund Faculty of Engineering, Luleå University ofTechnology and Stanford University. At Stanford University a global product development project wasrealized as part of the course ME310. The project was initiated by the American company ImmerseGlobal whose vision was to develop a new type of Atmospheric Water Generators, a machine that absorbsthe moisture in the air and via a water system transforms it to pure drinking water. The project was partlyfinanced by the Product Innovation Engineering program, a Swedish research and development programfor increased innovation capability in organizations.In parallel with the global project in the ME310 course the product development process was studied inorder to compare it with a product development course at the Royal Institute of Technology, IPU. Thetwo courses are similar to each other in several aspects.

The aim of this research is to examine the Göteborg International Film Festival Fund (GIFFF, 1998?2011) as a part of the festival's overall operations, to provide answers to questions about if/how the Fund can be understood as an expression of the festival's fundamental values, and how the Fund can be recognized within the festival's strategic development. The GIFFF is also discussed in relation to contemporary academic studies that interpret Western film funds for the developing countries ? such as Hubert Bals Fund and Fond Sud Cinéma ? as an expression of Eurocentrism.The investigation is based on the contemporary film festival research, previous academic studies on Göteborg International Film Festival, the festival?s printed material ? such as programs and press releases ? as well as interviews with the former festival director Gunnar Bergdahl, who initiated the Fund, and festival editor Ulf Sigvardson, who ran the Fund during its final years of existence.The conclusions are: The Fund's objectives ? such as to support filmmakers and film schools in the developing countries, and also to screen their films at the festival ? can be seen as a broader interpretation of the vision that was determined by the festival founders, that the festival should be a platform for independent filmmaking and also help screen the films that otherwise would not reach the Swedish audience. Also, the Fund was a significant part of the festival's expansion strategies during the 1990s.

This thesis is largely about museums and their role and development in and for society. With a field/case study of the District Six Museum in Cape Town, we try to encapsulate a modern function for museums within a context of 1) the current worldwide discussion on museums and their future, and 2) the development of a new democratic nation in South Africa, and museums possible role in that process. Through analysis of interviews made with concerned people within and outside the District Six museum weintend to get a picture of the views on this particular museum and its role and function, for its community and society at large, plus for other museums, as a possible role model. We find that this museum might be close to a type of museum that has been asked for by museologists and others in recent times..
