IS/IT-strategier ligger till grundlag för tillämpningen och nyttan av informationssystem samt informationsteknologi i en organisation. Det är en övergripande plan för verksamhetens användning av IS/IT-stöd, och har stor inverkan på organisationers effektivitet. Globala verksamheter opererar i olika miljöer och länder, något som behöver tas med i planeringsprocessen av en IS/IT-strategi. Uppsatsen behandlar de faktorer som har inverkan på utformandet av en IS/IT-strategi i en global verksamhet. Tänkbara interna och externa områden från IS/IT-miljön samt verksamhetsmiljön granskas, för att sedan analyseras utifrån den globala organisationens förhållanden.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to find out how much influence underlying factors have in connection to the internationalization of Born Global firms. Methodology: This study has a qualitative approach in which data is obtained mainly through interviews and secondary data which consists previous theories about the internationalization in small and medium sized firms and recent theories that entitle these firms as Born Global. Conclusion: Based on the existing theories and the qualitative data, we have concluded that the underlying factors for the Born Global firm?s internationalization are abilities and opportunities to create insidership in relevant networks. The most crucial underlying factors for Born Global firm?s internationalization are the ability to create processes to break old patterns of thoughts and the ability to ally with right partners. .

CSR har kommit att bli centralt i många företags strategier. Vissa akademiker hävdar att företag söker sig till intresseorganisationer som arbetar med CSR för att förbättra sitt CSR-arbete medan andra påstår att det endast är ett sätt att framhäva sitt företag i ett positivt ljus. Till skillnad från de många artiklar som skrivits om vad företag kan vinna på medlemskap i intresseorganisationer fokuserar denna uppsats istället likt Knudsen (2011) på vilka företag som har något att vinna på engagemang i intresseorganisationen The Global Compact. Undersökningen utgår från Knudsens påståenden och prövar om dessa stämmer för svenska företag, via intervjuer med fyra företag av varierande storlek. Våra resultat pekar mot att påståendena i huvudsak stämmer men att de bakomliggande orsakerna varierar när man jämför vår geografiska begränsning mot Knudsens mer globala fokus.

Bakgrund och problem: I samband med en tilltagande miljöförstöring har intresset förhållbarhetsarbete ökat. Detta har skapat press på företagen att redovisa miljöpåverkan ochutveckla hållbarhetsarbetet. Två industrier som är kritiserade för sin omfattandemiljöförstöring är gruv- respektive modeindustrin vars påverkan drabbar såväl natur sommänniskor och djur. Hur den konstaterade miljöpåverkan redovisas och eventuella skillnadermellan de två (helt) olika industrierna ligger till grund för den fortsatta studien.Syfte: Syftet med denna uppsats är att mer ingående undersöka redovisningen avmiljöindikatorer. Fokus riktas på omfattning och skillnader samt utveckling över enfemårsperiod mellan företag verksamma inom den svenska gruv- respektive modeindustrinsom redovisar sitt hållbarhetsarbete utifrån Global reporting Initiative (GRI).Avgränsning: Studien är avgränsad till att endast behandla den miljöpåverkan de valdaföretagen har, ansvaret för de sociala och ekonomiska områdena har således bortsetts.Metod: Studien omfattar en kvalitativ innehållsanalys av hållbarhetsredovisningar för åren2009 till 2013 för sex utvalda företag, tre från vardera industri.

Ryssland har efter det Kalla krigets slut fört en undanskymd roll på den internationella arenan. Efter Sovjetunionens kollaps var Ryssland för svagt för att överta dess roll som global stormakt. Det bipolära världssystemet ersattes av ett unipolärt system med USA som ensam global stormakt. På senare tid har dock Ryssland börjat visa alltmer självförtroende i sitt internationella agerande. Frågan uppstår då om landet har en ambition att åter bli en global stormakt. Studien syftar till att undersöka om Ryssland har dessa ambitioner.

The EU?s Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) aims to standardise corporate sustainability reporting, making practices more transparent and comparable. This directive seeks to enhance sustainability practices and guide market forces towards sustainability, supporting the EU?s goal of net-zero emissions by 2050.

Background: The latest development within the business world has been characterized by deregulation and globalization which has made the company bigger and even more influential. The increased power has resulted in a shift of responsibility for the community from the public to the private sector. (Steinholtz och Löhman, 2003) There have been many trends regarding what accountability includes and how financial accounting can be complimented in a useful and reliable way. Some trends have come to stay whilst others have shown to be less successful or the world has not been ready for them. (Larsson, a, 2002) Purpose: The purpose with this paper is to look at the historical development towards accounting for sustainability and to investigate what factors that might have hade an impact on this development.

Idag är socialt ansvarstagande inte längre en isolerad företeelse utan något som genomsyrar det dagliga arbetet. För företagen handlar det förutom att upprätthålla sitt varumärke och ett gott rykte också om att kontrollera risker och på så sätt skapa förutsättningar för bättre lönsamhet. Allt fler företag har upptäckt att det finns affärsmässiga fördelar med att ta ett aktivt socialt ansvar. (Svensk handels importhandbok 2009). Något som bidragit till att efterfrågan för redovisad miljöredovisning ökat.

 SammanfattningI takt med att världen krymper och gränserna mellan världens länder suddas ut ökar möjligheterna för små- och medelstora företag att snabbt slå sig in på den globala marknaden. De företag som inom de närmaste åren efter sin etablering får en snabb tillväxt på internationella marknader brukar benämnas Born Global företag. Det är just denna kategori av företag vi har valt att undersöka. Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka vilka faktorer som gör det möjligt för ett Born Global företag att överleva en tidig internationalisering. De traditionella teorierna om internationalisering domineras av Uppsalamodellen som förespråkar att denna process sker gradvis hos företagen.

The association between disclosure level and asymmetric information is a matter of importance andconsiderable interest to the financial reporting community. The theory in this area suggests that acommitment by a firm to increased levels of disclosure should lower the information asymmetry thuslowering the cost of equity. This theory may be compelling, but so far the empirical results have beenambiguous. Due to increased globalization the demand for high quality accounting standards has risen. In2005 The International Accounting Standard Board launched the standard named IFRS 3.

The aim of this study is to investigate how Swedish elementary school teachers proceed in cases of suspected child abuse, what knowledge teachers have in order to identify signs of child abuse and to make a report to social services, and also the obstacles teachers face during a report to social services. We used qualitative interviews with five practicing teachers; three was conducted at the teachers´ workplaces and the other two with the help of telephones. We used the role theory to analyze our results. We have concluded that teachers request more knowledge of signs of maltreatment and that they find their skills in discovering child abuse lacking. As obstacles to reporting, teachers identify their doubts and worries together with the difficulties that the often concealed child abuse brings.

The purpose of this study was to investigate how directors of preschool apply the mandatory reporting and what information they say is important in the decision to report child maltreat-ment. The study was built on five semi-structure interviews with five directors of preschool working in Greater Stockholm. The perspective of this paper is sociology of law theory. This means to study how out of law information makes sense when director of preschool applies the mandatory reporting. The result was analysed with three different analytic tools: action plan, consulting social services and the considerations of the directors of preschool them-selves.

The purpose of this study is to investigate how the Swedish newspaper Sportbladet watches over the Olympic games in Sotji, 2014. This study aims to find out why certain topics is more popular writing about and why others are not. The study also analyses the news distribution in terms of gender and nationalism.To find answers to this questions, a quantitative content analyses was used.  The results is based on 220 texts collected from eleven days news reporting in Sportbladet. Ice hockey and cross-country skiing was, without a doubt, the most popular sports according to news, interest and reporting. These two sports occupied a great deal of space in the newspaper and also had most articles.Furthermore, this study shows the domination of men amongst news pages according to both space and frequency in Sportbladet during the Olympic games in Sotji. In spite of that fact, women was assigned more space in the news paper throughout the Olympic games compared to the daily reporting.
