The purpose of this study is to highlight the opportunities of using social media as a communicative tool to attract and engage customers on different social media platforms. In recent years social media has become an important way for business to communicate with people both national and global. The idea behind this thesis was found when we saw different approaches of how companies used social media as a marketing tool. Through a qualitative approach we did eight interviews with six different companies and two social media consults which have given us a basis of what companies really want to achieve with social media. With these interviews we were able to analyze and discuss the abilities to interact with people and how companies distribute content that engage users and increase their credibility to the company..

Det här arbetet är en ekonometrisk studie av den globala oljemarknaden. Syftet med arbetet är att identifiera olika faktorer som påverkar utbudet och efterfrågan på olja. Studien delar upp produktionen av olja i två delar. En modell beskriver OPECs utbud och en annan beskriver produktionen av olja i länderna utanför OPEC. Arbetet konstaterar att OPEC är en starkare kartell i dag än på 1970-talet.

The decrease in the number of dairy farms in Sweden has been ongoing for a longer period of time. But the fact is that this has previously not had any big effects on total amount of milk produced in Sweden. The main reason is that the remaining dairy farms get larger. However, during the past year, there has been a decrease in the total amount of produced milk, because the decrease is faster than the increase within the farms that are left. During the same period of time the supply of milk on the global market also has decreased. In spite of the fact that the global supply have decreased and the fact that the milk price increases, there are dairy farmers in Sweden who chose to exit the market.

En effektiv och populär grafisk effekt för realtidsgrafik är Screen-Space Ambient Occlusion(SSAO). Teknikens nackdel är brusiga artefakter som kan dämpas med blur filtrering. Detta arbete studerar upplevelsen av defekterna i SSAO med en användarstudie. Arbetet implementerar en renderare som renderar bildrutor från kameraåkningar och ett visningsprogram som används i experimentgenomförandet. Renderade bilder utan och med aktiv blur-filtrering visas för försökspersoner som får beskriva om de ser skillnader mellan bilderna och välja vilken bild de föredrar.

In this thesis, I enquire into how the USA ? our world?s wealthiest and most powerful nation ?  and its federal government has dealt with two of its most severe natural disasters: the drought and dust storms that plagued the Great Plains during the 1930?s, i.e. the Dust Bowl, and Hurricane Katrina, which made landfall in late August 2005. I attempt to identify differences and similarities and analyze if and, in that case, how the hegemonic politico-economic paradigm affected the federal management of these crises. This comparison is made relevant by the fact that two differing paradigms were at play during these events. In the thirties, President Franklin D. Roosevelt launched his ?New Deal?, a series of counter cyclical measures in line with the Keynesian school of economics, as a response to the overwhelming economic depression as well as the raging drought.

Frågan om ekonomisk ojämlikhet tillhör kanske en av de mest kontroversiella frågorna genom historien. Åsikterna om fördelar och nackdelar med ekonomisk ojämlikhet, men kanske framförallt graden av ojämlikhet går isär. Det har till en början inom forskningen antagits att ekonomisk ojämlikhet är en förutsättning för tillväxt genom att det frambringar investeringar och är viktigt för incitamentsskapandet. Ny forskning tyder däremot på att tillväxt och ekonomisk ojämlikhet har ett negativt samband, särskilt när förhållandet studeras på lång sikt. Om så är fallet har detta stor betydelse för ekonomiska och politiska beslut.

Syftet med uppsatsen är att beskriva styrelseutvärdering i några relevanta teoretiska sammanhang, kartlägga styrelseutvärdering i svenska börsbolag, samt att bedöma relevansen hos respektive teori i ett svenskt sammanhang. Jag har valt att kombinera kvantitativ och kvalitativ metod. Basen har bestått av en enkätundersökning vilken har kompletterats med djupintervjuer för att öka min förståelse för teorin och empirin. I uppsatsen har jag arbetat hypotetiskt deduktivt. Jag utgick från ett par teoretiska perspektiv och undersökte vad de framhöll om styrelseutvärdering.

Westinghouse i Västerås består av olika arbetsområden, dessa i sin tur har egna organisationer samt en global organisation. Syftet med denna studie är att förstå bristen på förståelse vid förändringsarbete samt kommunikationen mellan ledningen och de anställda i de olika arbetsområdena, tekniker och projekt ledare. Till detta har ett verktyg formats för att bemöta attityder som förhindrar förändringsarbetet på Westinghouse i Västerås. Tidigare studier visar på att förändringsarbete bemötts av konflikter, attityder samt hot från olika verksamheter inifrån och även utifrån organisationen. Olika författare syftar till olika strategier för förändringsarbete och hur dessa kan leva vidare efter projektets avslutande.

Purpose - The purpose of this paper is therefore to investigate whether the implementation of LPD actually affect corporate performance measurements T-T-M, Quality and Cost, in a positive way. Methodology - This Bachelor thesis is an exploratory investigation of the concept of Lean Product Development within a global IT- company, performed through four case studies, interviews and complementing corporate performance data. Findings - With empirical data and subsequent analyzes in mind, we note the following; it is clear that the project that produced the best results, in terms of T-T-M, Quality and Cost, also was the one furthest in the process of implementing Lean Product Development..

Orsakerna till detta är bland annat begränsade insynsmöjligheter, närvaron av formlö's styrning och ägarförvaltningen's inkonsekventa hantering av de statliga bolagen. Ägarstyrningen verkställ's genom flera parallella mekanismer. Flera aspekter kan förbättra's gällande ägarstyrningen's transparen's, speciellt gäller detta beskrivningar och dokumentation kring ägarförvaltningen's beslutsgång samt informationen som ge's från bolagen. When SKL (Swedish National Laboratory of Forensic Science) gets images to analyse, the task often is to identify a person or an object. In that work it?s important to find features. Unfortunately images from camera surveillances often contain a lot of noise, so details can be hard to discern.A simple method to improve an image from a sequence is to compute the mean of some of the images. However, the part of interest in the image has to be in the same position in all images.

This work presents the way exiled Tibetans I?ve met view gender and equality. The world is becoming increasingly global and in order to educate future world citizens it is important to make sure that they learn about gender and equality. Males and Females have different cultures and where manly is the norm female is the exception, but it is important to try and level out these differences while children are still in school. This work originates from studies of literature and several interviews with exiled Tibetans in the Indian city of Dharamsala. They are Tibetans with different roles in the exile-Tibetan society and also of different generations and gender.

Purpose:The purpose of this paper is to investigate and clarify some of the factors that influence organizations to adopt or reject the social media, and if the emergence of social media influenced the organization's communication.Metohodology:A qualitative methodology has been used to execute the study. The source has been semi structured interviews with chosen representatives from several organizations.Theoretical perspective:The theoretical basis for the execution of the methodology is based on the provisional theoretical demarcation uses and gratifications theory. For analysis diffusion of innovations theory is applied.Emperical findings:The empirical material includes interviews with representatives from twelve selected organizations, defined as companies in the industry and authorities, in seven different industries.Conclusion: The main factors affecting an adoption of social media is the organization?s open structure, the ability to see opportunities with social media and that they are seen as a natural part of development in the communications field. The main factors affecting a rejection of social media is ignorance, the organization's governance and that there must be a need that social media can fill.

Något som bidragit till att efterfrågan för redovisad miljöredovisning ökat.
