The aim of this study is to find out in which way the education about climate in school is taught and how the students experience the world situation today. There are various theories about the greenhouse effect and its origin and these theories should be addressed to ensure that students get a broader understanding of how climate change occurs. This includes the natural phenomena and also the human impact on climate change. Students in school are a source of concern that only human are the cause of global warming, and know little or almost nothing about the natural phenomena of global warming.  I will mention what has emphasized in the national steering documents in the case of environmental education at school.I have used a qualitative method, where interviews and document analysis were used as techniques. In recent years more countries have started to blur out their national boundaries to create andrely on international collaborations. China is one of the fastest growing markets in the worldand play an important role on export and import of commodities across the globe. ManySwedish companies have more business collaborations with China than ever. Differencesbetween the cultures can lead to many difficulties for both the employees and the employer.There is both a challenge and a necessityto find ways to communicate, and to get moreknowledge in how to follow and lead people from different background and perspectives. Theaim of this study is to investigate how leaders through their leadership deal with contextualdifferences between China and Sweden and which effect these differences can have.

The purpose of this study is to identify a successful way of expanding a business on a global market, focusing on innovation products. An analysis was also made to see how internationalization theories are useful in businesses with innovation products. Four companies have been interviewed where two of them have innovation products (Proline AB and Q-Med AB) and the others are widely successful in exporting to a global market (Safegate Group and Weda Poolcleaners AB). Furthermore four interviews have been made with support organizations that have great experience in helping companies in this area (Svenska Uppfinnareföreningen, Almi Företagspartner AB, Exportrådet and The Swedish-American Chambers of Commerce).One of the results that can be identified is the diverse view and will to expand the business. The inventor often has a born global strategy in mind whereas the helping organizations rather expand step by step and only to one country at a time.

Jag har ett personligt syfte med denna uppsats, frågorna som jag försöker besvara är sådana som jag själv kämpar med och som är viktiga för min självkännedom. Jag vill fördjupa mig i vad det innebär att vara en global nomad och hur den sortens uppväxt påverkar ens koncept av hem. Sedan de borgerliga partierna varit i opposition har man efterlyst förändringar inom den svenska utvecklingspolitiken. Utvecklingspolitiken är samlad i skrivelsen Politik för global utveckling(PGU). Arbetets syfte är att undersöka om det skett några förändringar inom PGU sedan de borgerliga partierna intagit regeringsställning år 2006. Frågorna som är ämnade att besvaras är dels om det går att urskilja några väsentliga skillnader mellan den föregående socialdemokratiska regeringens politik för global utveckling och den nuvarande borgerliga regeringens och dels om den politik för global utveckling som den borgerliga regeringen för, är en del av lösningen på en internationellt ickefungerande utvecklingspolitik. Genom en kvalitativ textanalys är avsikten att utföra en komparation mellan de två regeringarnas PGU för att på så sätt uppvisa eventuella skillnader.

Since July 2005 the major companies listed on the Swedish stock exchanges are required to apply the Swedish Code of Corporate Governance. The code states that companies shall have a nomination committee responsible for nominating new board candidates and seek to obtain gender equality in the Board of Directors. This paper examines the trend of board as well as nomination committee composition among Sweden's 60 largest publicly traded companies between 2005 and 2008. Our overall finding is that neither the board nor the nomination committee composition has changed to a notable extent during the period and that the share of newly appointed female board members has actually decreased. However, the trends vary between different sectors.

Samhällets styrformer har genomgått en förändring och kännetecknas idag av en komplexitet som innebär att flera olika aktörer är inblandade, där samarbeten över de privatoffentliga gränserna har blivit allt vanligare för att lösa samhällsproblem som traditionellt sett ålegat staten. År 2013 tog Kommunfullmäktige i Karlstad beslut att genomföra en arbetsmarknadspolitisk åtgärd i form av satsningen ?100 nya Karlstadjobb?. Beslutet innebar att kommunen tillsammans med det privata näringslivet skulle ta fram 100 nya jobb till personer som stod långt ifrån arbetsmarknaden. Den 31 december 2014 avslutades satsnigen och utvärderades av en samordnare på kommunen.

This thesis investigates how teachers in political science work with global issues in their teaching. It investigates the implementation within a specific area. Implementation is a problematic concept and in debate it is often accused of not working.This thesis finds out whether dissatisfaction exists among teachers when it comes to how municipal schools work with global issues.The investigation consists of three interviews made with teachers in political science, all from municipal upper secondary schools, in three different cities.The result shows that dissatisfaction exists among the teachers. Lack of time and lack of dialogue between the teachers and the principles are described as the main hindrances to reach the goals of the implementation. This paper analyzes the content of eight Islamic Friday-sermons, held at Chalmers Technical University in Gothenburg in spring 2010, organized by Chalmers Islamiska Förening (CIF) (Chalmers Islamic community).The forces of globalization, the accessibility of information and the Internet have given rise to discourses and movements that know no national boundaries. The accessibility of these global movements and discourses through media, Internet, etc., affect the way Muslims in Sweden interpret and practice their religion. Thus, this paper includes discussions and descriptions of global Islamic revivalist-movements, and relates the contents of the sermons at Chalmers to these movements. In the sermons, the imams often discuss the concept of a global Muslim community, the umma, and their perceptions of the prescribed ethics linked to this community. They often relate this discussion of ethics to frequently discussed issues in the West such as equality, justice and ethical standards in war.

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to examine whether companies listed at Nasdaq OMX Stockholm (Stockholmsbörsen) sanctioned by the legal unit Nasdaq OMX Disciplinary Committee (Disciplinnämnden), could be distinguished from the remaining companies that have not been sanctioned. As Stockholmsbörsen is the most influential unit when trading shares in Sweden, listed companies need to behave in legal aspects. Actions and decisions that affect investors do also influence the listed companies and their performance. Some companies might be tempted to manipulate financial statements and public information to retain stakeholders; other miss to report properly without being fraudulent. To control this, the legal unit Disciplinnämden is introduced.

Syftet är att analysera och beskriva hur lärare erfar en förändrad lärarroll i samband med nätbaserad undervisning som bygger på relationen mellan det lokala och det globala klassrummet. Young Masters Programme är en nätbaserad global kurs inom området hållbar utveckling. Data till denna studie kommer från medverkande lärares skriftliga svar på intervjufrågor, vilka analyseras genom ett fenomenografiskt angreppssätt. Forskningsdata utgörs av lärares redogörelser av deras erfarenheter. Studien visar att flertalet av de deltagande lärarna ser komplexiteten i lärandet för hållbar utveckling i globala sammanhang, Global Learning for Sustainable Development (GLSD), och vill arbeta multidisciplinärt och ämnesgränsöverskridande med Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) i globala nätverk.

The Swedish Code for Corporate Governance was introduced on July 1, 2005. All companies then listed at OM Stockholmsbörsen A-list and those on the O-list with a market value of more than three billion SKr must implement the rules in the Code. The Code includes rules for corporate governance as a complement to the legislation. The Code is based on the principle comply or explain. This means that the companies are aloud to diverge from the rules if they explain why.

This Bachelor Thesis looks at the cooperation between the Swedish civil society and theEuropean Union (EU), and it aims at evaluating Swedish civil society organizations' influencewithin the EU's development work on policy level. It focuses primarily on eight civil societyorganizations, and it is based on empirical material collected in Stockholm and Gothenburg,Sweden. The material has been analyzed using three theoretical frameworks. The firstdetermines whether the structure of the EU allows bottom-up influence, the second looks atthe communication between the EU and civil society organizations, and the third assesseswhether the civil society has the ability to influence the political agenda within the EU?sdevelopment work.Conclusions of the thesis include determining the complex structure of the EU as a mainobstacle to influencing the EU's development work.

Bakgrund:                   Under senare år har de börsnoterade bolagens styrning kommit att intressera samhället. Ett viktigt fenomen i bolagens styrning är styrelserna. Under de senaste 15 åren har omfattande regleringar införts för att klargöra och definiera hur styrelserna i de börsnoterade bolagen skall sättas samman och arbeta.Syfte:                            Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka om, och i så fall hur, det svenska styrelsenätverket förändras efter utvecklandet och implementeringen av en reglering. Vår ambition är att ge förklaringar till varför eventuella förändringar sker.Avgränsning:               Studien har utgått från Svensk kod för bolagsstyrning som ett fall av reglering för att se hur denna har påverkat styrelsenätverket.Metod:                          En social nätverksanalys av styrelseledamöternas nätverk har genomförts. Studien omfattar bolag noterade på en svensk reglerad marknad med säte i Sverige.Slutsats:                        Studien påvisar att införandet av en styrelsereglering inte behöver leda till förändringar i styrelsenätverket.

Fokus i den här uppsatsen ligger på samverkan mellan tre offentliga utvecklingsaktörer i Skåne; Region Skåne, Länsstyrelsen Skåne och kommunerna. En god samverkan dessa aktörer emellan anses generellt vara viktigt, och något av en grundläggande aspekt, för att den hållbara stadsutvecklingen i Skåne ska ledas i rätt riktning. Det teoretiska ramverk som används i uppsatsen målar upp en bild av hur samverkansprocesser kan te sig i verkligheten, samt belyser hur problem och utmaningar kan tacklas. Ramverket består av främst governance och collaborative planning ? två teorier som är relevanta för både samverkan och hållbar stadsutveckling.
