This is a thesis written at the Swedish University of Agriculture inAlnarp within the landscape architecture education. The essay dealswith the landscape architect's professional identity and how it isdescribed in different contexts along with how it is perceived byprofessional landscape architects.Misunderstandings and preconceptions concerning the landscapearchitect's professional identity is common, both within and outsidethe branch of industry that includes the vocation. This raises problemswithin the industry and for the individual landscape architect. To findout if the root of the problems lies in available descriptions of theoccupation a study has been made. The study includes how thelandscape architect is defined in easily accessible information fromthe internet and in literature as well as in industry-orientedinformation such as dissertations and information from SverigesArkitekter (the Swedish Architects).

Syftet med examensarbetet har varit att undersöka möjligheterna för ett system till Skogsvårdsstyrelsen Värmland/Örebro, där uppgifter ska registreras i handdator vid fältbesök och därefter verifieras och slutlagras i Skogsvårdsstyrelsens databaser. Under arbetets gång har olika skogsorganisationer och företag intervjuats för att ta reda på om de har någon lösning som skulle kunna passa för Skogsvårdsstyrelsen. De lösningar som används av andra organisationer/företag har analyserats för att få fram för- och nackdelar med de olika varianterna. Slutprodukten innefattar inte någon prototyp på hur uppgiften skulle lösas utan föreslår olika verktyg som skulle kunna användas. Arbetet har grundats på litteraturstudier om införande av GIS i organisationer samt intervjuer och brevkontakt med personer och företag som arbetar med eller har kunskaper om fältGIS.

The internet has fundamentally changed the way people communicate. With all the information that we are sharing over the internet, and the ways which companies want to use our information, the importance of keeping our private information secure has increased. This thesis aims to discover what attitudes internet users have against privacy on the internet, and what ? if anything ? they are doing to protect their personal privacy.We distributed an online survey to internet users in the Stockholm area, and conducted three interviews with persons in our target population. The results of these studies show that people in general are very aware of privacy concerns on the internet, but that their attitudes toward how important personal privacy on the internet is, differ somewhat..

The student union of Karlstad University is always working for the better for the students, so they can feel safe and that their time at the university is trouble free. To get the students to sign up for a membership, the organization have to inform the students about their work and the benefits that a membership brings. The problem is that the target audience is broadbecause there are all students at Karlstad University that are of different sexes, ages and nationalities, this can cause problems when the information must be adapted to each individual in order to make it interesting. The organizations various work areas have not reached the entire audience and therefore requires an information film in which all the areas can be presented in an attractive way that makes it easy for the audience to absorb the information. A strong trend in the world of information films are the so called infographics.

Föreliggande systematiska litteraturstudies syfte var att inhämta information om och evidensgradera sjuksköterskans omvårdnadsåtgärder hos patienter med MS. Artiklar söktes ur databasen Electronic Libary Information Navigator (ELIN) via biblioteket på Högskolan Dalarna. Sökorden ?multiple sclerosis? och ?quality of life? användes. Artiklarna kvalitetsgranskades efter granskningsmallar med 28 bedömningskriterier därefter evidensgraderades artiklarna med hjälp av en tillämpad granskningsskala (Batshevani, 2008).

Family members need a great deal of support during palliative care. It is vital for the family that nursing contacts are accessible all day and night. The nurse can support the family members by sharing a professional knowledge and adapt the information to the recipient, by being present and also encourage them by not only focus on death. The support should be adapted to each individual and also have the possibility to be adjusted in each case. The aim of the study was to illustrate family members experiences of support in a late stage of palliative care.

The questions posed are: - How did the communication between SAS, media and citizens function during the crisis? - How did senders, intermediaries and beneficiaries experience the information and communication during the crisis? - How important was the internet communication for SAS, media and citizens during the crisis?The collected material consists of interviews and desktop research of material from Internet.The study shows that the communication between SAS, the media and citizens worked well on the social medias but was weaker in all other mediachannels. SAS was also weak in following up information received by media and travelers, and they therefore they had a different picture of the situation during the crisis. SAS thought that the communication worked fine between the parties involved.

Due to the wide usage of different databases administrated by the Swedish government to keep control over its citizen?s the issue has arisen concerning if this information is subject for other purposes then originally acknowledged. Executives induced in recruitment for labour has over the years extended their need for information accumulated by these systems. Especially data from the criminal records registry are now being used as a normal step in the employment process among a vastly growing spectrum of enterprises and businesses all over the country. This thesis aims to illuminate the subject by grasp to what extent the described behaviour can be considered legally accepted according to the law or if these actions are inflicting with the foundational juridical principles that has to be ensured by the Swedish government due to our constitutional law.A strict jurisprudential method has been applied throughout the entire thesis to ensure the reliability of the results. The diversity of sources has gently been put together to assure the overall quality.

Riksintressesystemet har sedan det lagstiftades år 1987 granskats, diskuterats och ifrågasatts. Tillämpningen av riksintressesystemet har ansetts haft grundläggande oklarheter och problem, bland annat vad det gällde riksintresseområdens aktualitet samt hur de skulle geografiskt avgränsas. Då bristerna och problemen med tillämpningen av riksintressesystemet ansågs vara av den omfattningen att det påverkade dess trovärdighet och legitimitet var det intressant att studera hur riksintressesystemet tillämpades i praktiken, i den översiktliga planeringen. Syftet med arbetet var att studera hur riksintressesystemet tillämpades i praktiken. Detta genom att undersöka hur Sveriges kommuner geografiskt avgränsade riksintressen enligt 3 kapitlet MB i den översiktliga planeringen, i förhållande till länsstyrelsernas underlagsmaterial. De metoder som användes i arbetet var en litteraturstudie samt en kvantitativ studie, i form av en enkätundersökning. Resultatet av litteraturstudien och enkätundersökningen påvisade att det fanns problem och brister med riksintressesystemet och tillämpningen av det, i den översiktliga planeringen. De slutsatser som kunde dras var att: ? Majoriteten av kommunerna geografiskt avgränsade samtliga riksintressen enligt länsstyrelsernas underlagsmaterial, trots att ett flertal av tjänstemännen angav att kvaliteten på länsstyrelsernas underlagsmaterial var bristfällig i flera avseenden. ? Det fanns skillnader mellan olika riksintressen för hur de hanterades och tillämpades i den översiktliga planeringen. ? De statliga myndigheterna, länsstyrelserna och kommunerna saknade tillräckliga resurser, kunskap och kompetens för att kunna tillämpa riksintressesystemet. ? Riksintressesystemet och tillämpningen av det genomfördes inte enligt intentionerna i gällande lagstiftning..

Centralisering och decentralisering syftar till samordning mellan arbetskraften hos en organisation. Diskussionen kring de två begreppen har pågått sedan forskare började skriva om organisationer.Begreppen har med tiden fåttmånga olika innebörder.Företag X är intresserad kring frågan om att ha centraliserad eller decentraliserad innesäljfunktion och logistikfunktion. Syftet med denna studie är att belysa faktorer i omgivningen som kan tala för centraliserad eller decentraliserad innesäljfunktion och logistikfunktion på företag X i Sverige. Avsikten med studien är också att redogöra för vilka konsekvenser en centralisering eller en decentralisering kan medföra.Studien utgår från kontingensteorin som menar att det mest effektiva sättet att organisera en organisation varierar vid olika situationer. En fallstudie har utförts hos företag X, där semistrukturerade intervjuer genomförts med sju respondenter.

I Sverige drabbas ca 6 800 kvinnor av bröstcancer varje år. Onkologiska kliniken på universitetssjukhuset MAS i Malmö tar årligen emot cirka 230 bröstcancer-patienter för strål- och/eller cytostatikabehandling. Efter det första uppföljande läkarbesöket känner sig patienten ofta ensam och övergiven och fortsätter att ha ett stort behov av information. En empirisk kontrollstudie med kvantitativ ansats gjordes med syfte att undersöka om ett riktat informationssamtal med rådgivande onkologisjuksköterska, kunde öka kvinnliga bröstcancerpatienters trygghet och välbefinnande. Studiegruppen erhöll ett informationssamtal med sjuksköterska och båda grupperna fick besvara en enkät.

När något lagval inte gjorts gällande köpeavtal vid auktionsförsäljning av lösa saker är det lagen i det land där auktionen äger rum som ur svenskt perspektiv ska tillämpas, 4 § 3 st. lag (1964:528) om tillämplig lag beträffande internationella köp av lösa saker (IKL). Därmed krävs att internetauktioners fysiska plats fastställs, vilket leder till svårigheter eftersom det inte finns en geografisk plats för hemsidor.På området finns även Europaparlamentets och rådets förordning (EG) nr 593/2008 av den 17 juni 2008 om tillämplig lag för avtalsförpliktelser (Rom I-förordningen), vilken dock lämnar företräde för IKL. Rom I-förordningen har en bestämmelse lik den i IKL men med en väsentlig skillnad, nämligen att auktionsregleringen endast är tillämplig om en fysisk plats kan fastställas. I annat fall tillämpas först och främst säljarens lag och det finns även möjlighet till avvikelse när köpeavtalet har en uppenbart närmare anknytning till ett annat land än det som utpekats.Var en internetauktion har sin fysiska plats är långtifrån klart även om olika förslag till en sådan har framförts.
