Johan Klings debutroman Människor helt utan betydelse har fått epitetet flanörroman i många artiklar och recensioner. Den är, i likhet med Hjalmar Söderbergs flanörroman Förvillelser, hans debutroman. Klings bok utspelar sig vid millennieskiftet, Söderbergs vid sekelskiftet. Detta väckte ett intresse hos mig och de frågor som kom upp var vad som definierar en flanörroman som genre och om det var en tillfällighet att flanörromanen dyker upp igen efter 100 år. En annan fråga som kom upp var vilka skillnaderna och likheterna skulle kunna vara.

This is a report that goes through the design process of designing and illustrating a virtual clothing shop with the theme ?Stockholm Streetstyle? for the website ?Stardoll.com?. The purpose of the report is to examine how you can manage to get as close to designing a certain style or theme as possible, and also how the process of designing a clothing line can work, The illustrations were made in Adobe Illustrator and the final result of the project was an illustrated fashion collection with 21 parts, in the total of 6 outfits, and also a background for the shop. .

The purpose of this study is to examine the view of knowledge and the view of learner which are prominent in the ministry memorandum Specific programs and access to vocational programs (U2009/5552/G) and thereby understand the potential impact of the new transformation of the current individual program and what it brings to the students who do not achieve the objectives in grade 9. We have used a qualitative text analysis method. The background to the study describes in particular today's individual program, view of knowledge and view of learner. The result shows that the most prominent in the memorandum is that knowledge is divided into theory and practice, that individualization is the focus and the text shows freedom for interpretation..

Linda Gustafsson: Att skriva om musik. En analys av folkmusikrecensioner. Uppsala: Musikvetenskap, 1998. C-uppsats (60 p).Uppsatsens syfte är att se hur aktuella folkmusikkonserter med nordiska artister verbaliseras i dag i landets två största dagstidningarnas recensionstexter samt att ge en bakgrund till hur man skriver om musik. Many organizations strive to be transnational. This means that individuals with different cultural background will work together. Countries around the world have their own culture, which mark the way individual?s think and act. Different values between leaders and their subordinates are often a key factor to misunderstandings and conflicts in transnational organisations.

The point of interest in this study is to identify whether ethnicity is a correlating factor regarding Hungarian immigrants? development of identity in Sweden. The general aim is to increase knowledge and understanding of the conditions for the Hungarian ethnical group in Sweden to reach self-realization. The main question is whether the general view of the background of this ethnical group has a connection to their self-realization in Sweden? Since the study involves a whole group of minority, a limitation has been made to adults living in the city of Halmstad, Sweden.

?This is a study of two school extern homework activities dedicated to helping students with their homework. The questions at issue are 1) how are the homework activities organized when it comes to financing, planning, marketing and implementation? 2) Who participates as staff as well as students and what are the requirements for participants? 3) What are the reasons for students to attend school external homework sessions? Material was gathered by a survey among the students at the activities and by interviews with principals for each activity. Two main findings are that the homework activities are almost exclusively visited by students with immigrant background and that the main reasons for participating are difficulties with the Swedish language, and parents not being able to help their children with homework.

In the area of short stories there is little doubt that Roald Dahl has been an influential writer. Dahl´s short stories have been presented to the general public through TVbraodcasts but in order to grasp the true spirit of Dahl´s writing the best method is, of course, reading his books. The fictional works of Roald Dahl can be divided into two major categories: stories for adults and stories for children. This essay is concerned with the second grouping and is an attempt to analyse three themes that are of particular importance to his work. After a brief biographical note on the author, the essay analyses the element of the macabre in Dahl?s writing.

This essay, Pictures from a death-bed, expands on the pictorial genre called post mortem portraits, a field with long history in the western society. A post mortem portrait is an artwork where the artist paint or photograph the model after her or his dead. My survey delineates to treat two specific pictures, one from the seventeenth century and one from the twentieth century. Both of them are portraits of dead boys on their death-beds, but the first one is a painting and the other one is a photo. By this survey I wanted to find both similarities and differentials between the pictures; if they were made by the same reasons, if you could see anything different between the portraits by children and by the portraits of adults, and finally, if there were any cultural or religious connections between the pictures and their existents.

Personporträttet som genre, då framför allt i landsortspress, är ett relativt outforskat område inom medieforskningen. Syftet med studien är att undersöka hur journalister framställer män och kvinnor för sina läsare, eftersom vi anser att journalister bör vara medvetna om hur framställningar reproducerar normer som i sin tur inte ifrågasätter gällande maktstrukturer, och har ett ansvar att reflektera över detta. Vår hypotes är att män och kvinnor framställs olika på grund av vilket kön de har.Med en grund i social konstruktivism och genusvetenskap, har vi gjort en kvalitativ textanalys på 17 personporträtt i de så kallade ?familjesidorna? i tidningarna Västerbottens-Kuriren och Borås Tidning.Vi undersökte under en tvåveckorsperiod vilka tillskrivna egenskaper, utifrån traditionella manliga och kvinnliga stereotyper, som finns i dessa personporträtt. Genom fyra steg; råanalys, textanalys, skribentanalys och tidningsanalys, identifierade vi ett flertal mönster i personporträtten.

This thesis has been performed at BAE Systems Hägglunds, which is located in Örnsköldsvik. Hägglunds has a wide background of engineering, where they have manufactured all from airplanes to lifting cranes. Currently they only produce track vehicles at Hägglunds, where they manufacture the CV90 and BVS10 models. This thesis concerns the BVS10 which is an all-terrain-vehicle. The main purpose with the BVS10 is to enable transportation of material and personnel thru tough terrain.

Background: All the students in the University College of Södertörn in Sweden who are studying to become a teacher, are attending practice education.Purpose: The purpose of this qualitative study was to illuminate and analyze how the students experienced their practice education. My intent was to investigate if the students by their experiences have been affected in their own self-esteem.Method: This is a qualitative study that has been responded by 60 teacher students. The students attended in an internet- survey that included ten different questions.Result: The result of the interviews shows that the self-esteem has been affected, mostly in a positive way.Conclusion: The most common reason that affected the student self-esteem depended on how their supervisor has been treating them during their practice.

Background: Spinal Cord Injuries impacts sexuality. In a healthcare environment sexual issues are complicated and not allways easy to answer. Purpose: The purpose has been to highlight how the patient experiences sexuality after sustaining spinal cord injury. Method: A literature study through systematic review of scientific articles. Result: Five main categories were identified: Relationship, Physical problems, Emotional experiences, Coping, Counselling and information.

Under sommaren 2014 inträffade en skogsbrand i Västmanland. Det började brinna den 31 juli och 13 800 hektar skog brann upp. Formellt avslutades räddningsinsatsen den 11 september samma år. Människor tvingades lämna sina hem och medier rapporterade om den ?värsta branden i modern tid?.
