I denna uppsats har en undersökning av boken Myggor och tigrar gjorts där dels vad som är utmärkande för en självbiografi och ett självporträtt jämfört med andra typer av genrer, dels vad metafiktion är, belysts. Myggor och tigrar har drag av självbiografi, men även fiktion ? i denna uppsats benämnd som självporträtt. Ytterligare en sak som har undersökts är hur författaren, Maja Lundgren, gång på gång kommenterar Myggor och tigrar, med avseende på genre.De självbiografiska avsnitten i Myggor och tigrar har gått att verifiera, likaså har de självporträtterande aspekterna utforskats. Det senare i form av exempelvis fokalisering som legat utanför författaren tillika berättaren Lundgrens synfält samt att Lundgren säger sig höra röster.

Lifestyle magazines portray women in different manners and have an influence on how media consumers create self-images. The importance of knowing how different visual representation of the female acts out in magazines with large target audiences is therefore of weight for the magazines? readers to understand. This thesis analyze how the two lifestyle magazines ELLE and LOVE portrays women in images and how they in turn create ideal images of women.The thesis has been conducted through a qualitative analysis of 5 images from each magazine that represents the magazines artistic styles. The theories used in this study are semiotic image analysis and visual text analysis viewed from a gender- and discourse perspective.The conclusion of this thesis is that ELLE portrays women as strong, happy and feminine, with at tendency towards androgyny, while LOVE describes women as inferior and sexual objects constructed for the male gaze.

Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) is a genre of computerized systems which allows system development corporations to efficiently and more easily manage, maintain and handle the applications lifecycle. These ALM systems have a wide variety of tools which can be integrated to enable and support collaborative work, while they act at the core of the organisation. Todays ALM systems support flexible system development methods throughout the entire development process. This paper focuses on a case-study of a Swedish business- and technology corporation and their use of two ALM systems with an aim to unravel the differences between these systems and their functionality to serve as a basis for decision making regarding their utilization of best practice with their ALM-Systems. Meanwhile we studied their approach to ALM systems to see if they were using them according to the initial idea of ALM systems.

AbstractIntroduction: It has during the latest years occurred several large business scandals both abroad and in Sweden where auditors have been involved. The need for stabile conditions and well functioning professional codes of ethics for companies, especially auditing firms have been growing during the latest years. FAR has seen it as their task to define the meaning of the Swedish term ?god revisorssed?. This is specified through FAR?s nine professional codes of ethics, which came out in a new edition in 2003.

In my project, Cups on the run, I have studied the relationship between ceramic utility objects and different environments, when moving them off the table. My background as a potter has been the starting point. From there, I wanted to see if I could expand my craft to the space beyond. With the cup, which for most people has a clear function and a relation to us human, in repetitive structure I explored the spatiality and architecture in various environments. Life fascinates me through how everything is made up of tiny parts that together create the tangible and intangible.

Examensarbetets tre artiklar undersöker användar- och branschperspektiv på musikplattformen Soundcloud, som lanserades sent under 2008.De musikaliska konsumtionsmönstren ? sätten vi lyssnar på, delar, köper, tar till oss ny musik ? dikteras inte längre av en gammalmodig bolagsinriktad bransch och avståndet mellan upphovsmänniskor och konsumenter har krympt avsevärt, med en rad påföljande konsekvenser.Arbetet undersöker i tur och ordning vad som binder samman de användare som uteslutande använder Soundcloud för att hitta ny musik och varför de gör det samt vad de som använder Soundcloud för att dela sin egen musik har gemensamt. I den tredje delen får tre experter inom sina respektive områden ge sina perspektiv på hur Soundcloud har förändrat det musikaliska landskapet samt sia om hur framtiden ser ut för det svenskstartade företaget.Artiklarna visar på hur social interaktion på Soundcloud har påverkat användarnas uppfattning av musiken och på ett fördjupande plan gör artiklarna bland annat anspråk på att likna Soundcloud vid en tolkningsgemenskap ? ett ?community? ? som lämpar sig till studier ur ett etnografiskt perspektiv.I den medföljande reflektionsrapporten presenteras valen av ämne, genre och metod närmare. AbstractOur life-experiences and our background form the way we act and the activities we are involved in. The overall purpose in this thesis has been to study what habits are to be found in different activities related to the outdoors and how these habits have been developed. Hopefully this work can contribute to a better understanding of the meaning of habits in our lives and thereby play a part in a further differentiated talk about habits and knowledge in society. The background and my theoretical approach has been three views of habits:In practice these patterns of habits are not separable so this approach should be seen as a way of making the development of habits clearer. Another purpose is to study how the following concepts can be related to habits: Reflection, master-apprentice, episte?me, techne, phronesis, interest and tacit knowledge.

The purpose of this Masters Thesis is to explore the impact of spare time reading fiction on the identity of teenage boys, and what it really means to them. To investigate this, we have focused our investigation on how teenage boys relate to and what they search for in their reading. The data collection is based on 8 interviews with boys in the age between 14 and 15 and on literature on the subject. The theoretical framework focuses on the reading theories of Joseph A. Appleyard, the transactional theory of Louise M.

Syftet med denna studie var att utveckla genren vetenskapsradio. Nyfiknare radio om vetenskapliga ämnen för målgruppen 18-35 år och som testämne, djur. Rolig, lättillgänglig och lärorik radio. Studien föregicks av en förstudie där jag gjorde kvalitativa intervjuer med två yrkesverksamma personer inom ämnesområdet. Utifrån det sammanfattade jag ett antal produktionsmetoder och i denna studie har jag producerat radioprogram utifrån dessa tillvägagångssätt.

In this essay I have described ecocriticism as a theory with several different subfields that are inspired by a cross-disciplinary approach, such as green culture studies, ecofeminism, and postcolonial ecocriticism. After a short summary of the background of ecocritical studies I analyze the various subfields, take a closer look at their contents and present various examples of ecocritical thinking. A presentation of the commonly used concepts within the discipline and some reflections on these is followed by my final discussion, where I state that even though ecocriticism is a relatively new theory and the concept doesn?t have a clear definition as yet, it is in my view a useful tool for analysis and can with time make valuable contributions to literary studies, not least by introducing a number of new perspectives..

Uppsatsens syfte är att undersöka om manliga och kvinnliga filmrecensenter skriver om film på olika vis. Vi har undersökt totalt 120 filmrecensioner mellan 2 mars och 4 november 2011 i Svenska Dagbladet, Nöjesguiden och Cinema. Undersökningen genomfördes med hjälp av både kvantitativ och kvalitativ metod.Den kvantitativa metoden i vår undersökning visar att männen i vårt material skriver längre texter än kvinnorna. Kvinnorna recenserar oftare genrerna familj och romantik, medan männen har ett övertag inom action och komedi. Männen använder sig av fler referenser än kvinnorna.Den kvalitativa metoden i vår undersökning visar att männen i vårt material sällan förklarar sina referenser medan kvinnorna är mer beskrivande och förklarar referenserna i sina filmrecensioner.

The purpose with this study is to gain understanding about student´s view of mathematical education, in the later years of nine-year compulsory school, and the motivation factors that can be identified when student´s gives opportunity to express their own thoughts due to the mathematical education. From experiences we have gained during the practical part of our teachers education we got the impression that student´s think that the mathematical education is boring and uninteresting. Through qualitative methods such as survey and discussions in focus group we have analyzed student´s views of mathematical education and pointed out witch motivation factors that are expressed when student´s gives opportunity to influence over their own education. The results are shown from the answers and comments that student´s gave, during the survey and focus group, and is divided into two main parts, both with focus on motivation ?Mathematics and motivation? and ?Student´s influence and motivation? and also a summery part ?Motivated for mathematical education when the student is given influence over the education?. The study showed that student´s wants to have more difference in the work methods that are used in their mathematical education such as problem solving, games, more work in groups and pairs and more use of IT. In conclusion the study also gives suggestions to other studies that can be made in the same genre as this study in the way that IT can be used in mathematical education and how student´s interest can be used in the education to gain more motivated student´s..

De flesta av oss har säkert erfarenhet av hur digitala verktyg kan vara en hjälp på många områden i vardagen. Det går att fastslå att fler och fler funktioner och tjänster i vårt samhälle digitaliseras på olika sätt och i många yrkesgrupper verkar digitala hjälpmedel vara ett självklart inslag. Syftet med detta arbete är att öka kunskapen om vilken syn musik- och instrumentallärare har på användningen av digitala verktyg i undervisningen. För att uppnå detta syfte har jag ställt ett antal frågor till några musiklärare i olika läromiljöer.Resultat visar bland annat att användandet av digitala hjälpmedel styrs till viss del av musikalisk genre, det vill säga om en lärare arbetar med klassisk musik eller med rock- och popmusik. Tydligt i resultatet är också att musiklärarna vill öka både sin kunskap och sitt användande av digitala verktyg.En av mina viktigaste slutsatser är att de lärare som på ett personligt plan använder digitala verktyg utanför skolan också använder dem i sin undervisning..

National Agency for Education for the results of national sample results show that students with another mother tongue than Swedish have low results with a larger percentage than majority students. Research shows that this depends on their mother tongue and the importance of language in the subject to learn.The purpose of this study was to examine how teachers experience, plan and implement their teaching field of mathematics in the preparatory class. The focus is on two perspectives; an intercultural perspective and a social perspective. The newly arrived pupils in the preparatory class come from different parts of the world which leads to an intercultural classroom being formed. The aim of the social perspective is understand how students integrate into the social in the classroom.I use qualitative methods through interviews.
