Denna uppsats syftar till att undersöka hur elever med svenska som andraspråk uppfattar sin skolvardag och specifikt historieundervisningen i skolan. Vilka hinder och vilka fördelar har elever med flerspråkighet. Genom intervjuer med fyra elever på en grundskola i Malmö framkommer det, att det är ett svårt ämne att diskutera med eleverna. Syftet är också att ta reda på vad forskningen säger om just flerspråkiga elever vars utbildning sker på ett annat språk än deras modersmål, och hur skolan på bästa sätt kan genomföra undervisningen så att alla elever kan ha lika förutsättningar för en god undervisning. Forskningsresultatet pekar på att det är av största vikt att använda sig av språkinriktad undervisning i klassrummen i alla ämnen om alla elever ska skall ha en likvärdig utbildning..

Lumilos is a work investigating the possibilities to use light and color in an interactive design context. I have explored different light sources and compared them to each other and given a short description of the history of light and how it has been developed during the industrialization in the western world. I have also investigated what is currently done in the field and summarized that with examples in the categories passive-, colored-, material- and interactive light. The conclusion is that working with interactive color and light is a hard task. There are many different angles to take into account such as personal likings and earlier experiences that is uncontrollable by the designer. Yet there are many possibilities and light is a material that is moldable in many forms. I have put the knowledge about light and color into practice and developed an interactive light wall that is visualizing energy consumption with the use of different colors of light and animations.

MKB fastighets AB förvaltar stora delar av Malmö stads utrymmen vilket ger dem stort inflytande och möjlighet att utveckla stadsmiljön. Det finns intresse bland aktörer, bland annat Odla i stan, att visa på fördelar med stadsodling/ boendenära odling. Forskning kring stadsodlingens värde behövs för att motivera stadsodlingsprojekt och anställningar nu och i framtiden. Denna studie utreder vilka värden som skapas av stadsodlingen i stadsdelen Rosengård i Malmö och hur det kan gynna de fastighetsägare som verkar i området. Begreppet stadsodling började användas i Sverige runt 2009 men det finns en tradition att odla i staden för egen konsumtion.

Vår C-uppsats handlar om hur de anställda på Transports avdelning Y upplever sin arbetsplats och hur dem anser att deras arbetsmiljö är och vad dem gör för att få en god arbetsmiljö. Uppsatsen har en inriktning på arbetsgruppens trygghet och trivsel samt vad det är arbetsgruppen gör för att få en bra arbetsmiljö, hur dem upplever sin arbetsmiljö och vilka inställningar och upplevelser av arbetsmiljön har dem på sin arbetsplats? Syftet med uppsatsen är att försöka förstå en arbetsplats arbetsmiljö som i detta fall en specifik avdelning på transportmedarbetar förbundet. Vi syftar till att undersöka hur just denna arbetsplats och arbetsgrupp ska kunna utvecklas för att kunna få en ännu bättre psykosocial arbetsmiljö. Men även för att försöka förstå vad det är som kan göra att de anställd har en bra arbetsmiljö.

The aim of this study is to make a comparative study between the grievances during the Dacke Warand the German Peasant´s War. These two conflicts may have occurred separately, regarding bothgeographical and chronological distances but also share common issues for this comparative study.Less than two decades separates these two conflicts and they were all by their own serious insurrectionsduring their time. While the German Peasant´s War was the greatest uprising in Europe up tothe French Revolution, the Dacke War was the biggest Peasant Rebellion in Scandinavian history.While the German Peasant War has been studied and researched by historians for a relative longtime, the Dacke War has been neglected in research history. If it were not for the Swedish professorLars-Olof Larsson?s studies during foremost in the 1960s, the Dacke War would have been a historicallyuncharted territory of research indeed.

Barnarbete var ingen ny företeelse i och med den industriella revolutionen. Tidigare barnarbete hade bland annat skett i jordbruket och inom hantverksyrken. Utnyttjandet av minderårig arbetskraft kom dock att förändras, då tekniken kom att förbättras. Fabriker växte fram och kom att sysselsätta barnen. Tekniken skapade jobb åt minderåriga, men det var också tekniken som kom att undanröja de minderårigas arbetsmöjligheter.

AbstractThe purpose of this article was to examine how students learn French by integrating a multimode way of learning through literature, music, poetry, painting, reading, writing and IT in the classroom, in order to create understanding and motivation regarding the subject, but also a sense of cooperation and sensibility toward each one of the students Individual work. In the study of Victor Hugo?s novel Les Misérables as a tool for learning and deepen understanding about human values, the focus was laid on essentials questions such as the question of good and evil which is the major theme presented in the novel. The results showed that the students developed a vast interest in literature and human condition and made progress in French in both oral and written work but also acquired more knowledge about the French history..

Med denna byggnad som exempel på tidig funktionalism diskuteras denna stilriktning och dess historiska referenser med ett fokus på relationen till klassicismen. Uppsatsen inleds med ett avsnitt om arkitekten Sven Markelius och en beskrivning av konserthusets tillkomst. Sedan belyses de samtida idéströmningar som präglade arkitekten och denna period av arkitekturhistorien. Därefter följer en deskriptiv analys av konserthuset och dess former.

The dog has played an important and significant role for mankind throughout history. It's no coincidence that they are known as "Man's best friend". This master's thesis asks two main questions concerning the history of the City and UniversityLibrary of Gothenburg: what was the prevailing view of the library and its role? Whateconomic support did the library receive and from whom?By critically examining extensive source material mainly from the library archives and cityand state records, these conclusions are drawn: the City and University Library was regardedas a purely scientific library by all involved except the state as early as the 1920s. The state didnot express this view until 1946. The support came almost exclusively from the city ofGothenburg, the state not extending support on a larger scale until 1946 and then onlysporadically. The widely-held view of the library as a scientific one was ignored by the statein its repeated refusals to grant the library support both before and after 1946.

The aim of this Master´s thesis in Art History and Visual Studies is to examine the existence and theexpressions of openness and interior space in the contemporary Swedish architecture of singlefamilyhouses. Research has focused on open-plan housing with open connections between kitchenand living areas, large windows, walls of glass, high ceiling heights and entresol or loft levels, usingtwo case studies and analyses of seven reference objects. Interpretation is based onphenomenological theoretical perspectives.Houses that are more or less transparent permit views from both the inside and the outside. How can former military area I5 in Östersund, Sweden, evolve into Stadsdel Norr ("The Northern Quarter") ? an attractive part of the town center? In a theoretical part of the essay the significants of well functioning towns and streets are investigated. The history of Östersund and I5 is shortly reviewed. Present recommendations concerning city design are presented along with guidelines from Vägverket (National Road Administration) for urban streets. The conclusion reached is that a fundamental structure of streets and roads, public and private spaces, is crucial for the possible future development of an area.

This study focuses the development on the protection of landscapes with old industries and how it nowadays is appreciated by the inhabitants. The overall aim of this study is to increase the knowledge about how the so called industrial landscape in Norrköping became a cultural heritage that the citizens want to protect. The study also aims to investigate the citizens´ knowledge about the industrial landscape in Norrköping, and what value they think that the place possesses. Data was collected by an information research and six qualitative interviews. The interviews where analysed by qualitative methods techniques.
