Goodwill har sedan länge varit ett kontroversiellt ämne. Genom införandet av det nya internationella regelverket IFRS kom hanteringen av goodwill att förändras. Istället för att göra årliga nedskrivningar ska nu goodwillposten hos börsnoterade företag på minst årlig basis genomgå en nedskrivningsprövning, för att se om ett nedskrivningsbehov föreligger. Detta har emellertid mottagit viss kritik, då det anses vara subjektiva bedömningar som ligger till grund. En följd av detta skulle således kunna vara att företag medvetet undviker nedskrivningar. Kritik riktas även mot de höga goodwillposter som svenska företag redovisar.

This essay focuses on how trafficking is defined and dealt with in recent European policies,and particularly how prostitution take part of these discursive developments. Treaties andagreements on trafficking in human beings and for sexual exploitation have been made bythe European Union and United Nations amongst others, which have been signed andratified by the EU countries in Action Plans. In this essay, five national Actions Plans, fromAustria, Great Britain, Poland, Spain and Sweden between 2007 and 2009, have beencompared in order to see similarities and differences in how the phenomenon of traffickingis done through language. Based on Discourse theory and focus on discursive struggles, theresult show a hegemony around trafficking as a social issue in the Action Plans studied,exploiting humans, mainly children and women, sexually, but also how trafficking is framedas a problem of the nation state and the domestic labour market. It is also illustrated howdifferent meanings of prostitution make the trafficking discourse antagonistic and contested.Finally, the essay discusses the trafficking discourse in relation to EU strivings towardsharmonisation and power imbalances of migration and economy in Europe..

The wastewater treatment plant at GE Healthcare's facility in Uppsala deployed a three step vacuum evaporator in 2007. The purpose of this was to pre-treat wastewater containing amines. The purpose of this thesis was to optimize thisprocess by reducing the amount of concentrate without releasing more nitrogen tothe environment and to examine if density could be used as a measurement of whenthe process should be ended.To create a foundation for optimization six test cycles were conducted with samples taken from all three steps. Both concentrate and condensate were tested as well as the incoming solution. Furthermore, the thesis has been expanded with a benchmarking part examining two different evaporators.

Syftet med denna litteratur studie var att undersöka vetenskaplig litteratur om hur sjuksköterskan och övrig sjukvårdspersonal bemöter och vårdar patienter med missbruksproblem. Begreppet missbruk innefattar alla former av missbruk av både narkotika och alkohol. Artiklarna skulle handla om patienter med ett missbruk och deras möte med vården. Litteratursökningen har skett i följande databaser: Science Direct (Elsevier) PubMed , Blackwell Synergy. Urvalet skedde utifrån relevans till syfte och frågeställningar.

The arm?s length principle has existed in Swedish law since 1928 but has previously been given little attention. In 2007, documentation requirements were introduced, and the government began to do tax audits regarding transfer pricing. This thesis examines how the documentation requirements and tax audits affect the application of the arm's length principle. The research consists of nine interviews with a total of ten people at the tax authority (Skatteverket) and audit- and consulting agencies. The results of the interviews are analyzed using the agency theory. Many companies are risk averse and prefer having correct transfer pricing instead of taking on challenging strategies that can be risky in case of an investigation by Skatteverket.

In January 2007 the Öresund committy changed its statutes to become a more politically oriented lobby organization. This change can be interpreted as one part of a continuously evolving process where the Öresund region is emancipating itself from the national states in a multi-level European environment. By focusing on this latest development the thesis puts forward the importance of political institutions, as well as politicians and civil servants as actors in them, as crucial factors in the process where the region is gaining political power. The thesis shows how the political cross-border cooperation in the Öresund region is being institutionalized which affects its power relations to other levels in the multi-level system, predominantly the national states. In other words, there is a connection between power and institutionalization.The Öresund committee has by gaining better access to policymaking agendas on the national levels proven that the organizational change has already started to bear fruit.

This essay is about the problematization of uneployment and unemployed in national policy documents of the years 1979 and 2007. The purpose of this essay is to illustrate and analyze the problematization of unemployment as a construction. My overall aim is investigating how the unemployed and unemployment are represented and constructed in the Swedish political debate the years of 1979/80 and 2006/07 by analyzing national policy document. The analysis will consist of questions about the problemrepresentaion made by unemployment and the unemployed, the assumptions behind this problematization and what kind of impact it could generate for the unemployed.  In this way, the study aims to investigate the changes that may have occurred in how unemployment is problematized in the Swedish policy documents and highlight citizenship conditions on the basis of labor market policy.

Concentration problems have been discussed from a variety of angles and have been problemized in different ways. One approach is to place the major part of the problem on the child independent of its environment. The terms used as an explanatory model are ?attention disorder, impulsiveness, difficulty at finding suitable activity levels, difficulty in understanding rules and instructions? (Kadesjö 2007). Others place the root of the problem in the environment prevalent at pre-school and school.

Enprospektiv longitudinell studie genomfördes vid samtliga kvinnokliniker iVästernorrland. Deltagande var 827 partners till kvinnor som varit gravida och föttbarn under perioden juni 2007-juni 2008.

Syftet med följande arbete är att undersöka om maskulinitet och pojkar som grupp problematiseras i gymnasieskolornas jämställdhetsarbete och i så fall hur. Dels undersöks om detta sker i det konkreta arbetet och dels vad det finns för tankar kring pojkar och maskulinitet hos dem som arbetar med jämställdhetsfrågor på gymnasieskolan. Arbetet ger en översikt av tidigare forskning om skolors jämställdhetsarbete samt litteratur som behandlar de skillnader som finns mellan pojkar och flickor i skolan.

A great deal of the music in the Düben collection comes from Nothern Germany so one purpose has also been to investigate if even Strungk's sonatas have stylistic influenses from that region.

I och med att Apple 2007 introducerade sin iPhone exploderade marknaden för så kallade Nomadic Devices. En telefon som mer är tänkt att fungera som någon form av handdator. Dessa telefoners utformning och funktioner möjliggör för utvecklare att ta fram mer avancerade program än man tidigare sett för mobiltelefoner.

 Denna studie genomfördes i syfte att undersöka förekomst och omfattning av psykoterapeutiska insatser inom socialtjänstens individ- och familjeomsorgs (IFO) kommunala verksamhetsutbud (egenregi) under åren 2003 och 2007. Två kommuner i Stockholmsområdet, Täby och Järfälla, ingick i studien. Till grund för undersökningen användes information och statistik från socialstyrelsens statistikdatabaser, kommunernas journalföringssystem och verksamhetsberättelser. Insatserna i de olika verksamheterna differentierades utifrån tre kategorier med utgångspunkt i en vid tolkning av Strupps definition av psykoterapi och med tillägg av eventuell förekomst av kontroll och/eller tvång i insatserna. Tre olika kategorier av insatser identifierades; sociala, psykosociala och psykoterapeutiska insatser.

Sweden needs a policy that stimulates economic growth. Year 1996 the Business Reorganization Act (1996:764) came into force. The goal with this law was to savebusiness, make it profitable and avoid unnecessary bankruptcies. Shortly afterwards itturned out that the law had no positive effect.
