Renoverings strategier på befintligt fastighetsbestånd?fyra fallstudier om allmän nyttiga fastighetsbolag
Today Real estate companies face the challenge where extensive renovations on existinghousing built before 1980 must be performed. Conditions have changed and the housing need performance-?enhancing measures that meet today's quality. With a current renovation rate, it would take 30 years to meet the renovation needs. The renovation rate must therefore rise dramatically, which requires the real estate companies to act consistently in accordance with commercial principles and in an economically, socially and environmentally responsible way.The paper discusses renovation strategies in four municipal housing companies in the Stockholm suburbs. The report includes surveys of four ongoing renovation projects; Fastighets AB Förvaltaren in Sundbyberg project Hundloken 3, Stiftelsen Signalisten in Solna project Ritorp, Sollentunahem in Sollentuna project Svalgången och Väsbyhem in Upplands Väsby project Dragonvägen. The main purpose of this study was to analyze the practices of redevelopment projects.

To be able to adopt, the future adoptive parents must participate in parental education and have a home investigation done. The home investigation is extensive and great demands are made on the parents. The purpose with this study was to get an insight and understanding in the parents? thoughts and feelings about the demands and expectations that are made on them during an international adoption. To answer this, we used these questions: Which demands and expectations are made on the future adoptive parents by the home investigator and the parental educator? How do the future adoptive parents experience the demands and expectations that are made on them before an adoption? Does the apprehension about the demands and expectations differ between the future adoptive parents and the home investigator contrary the parental educator? We used a qualitative method, interviewing four couples of parents, one home investigator and one parental educator.
Från otryggt till tryggt - analys och förslag till förbättring av Levgrensvägen i centrala Göteborg
Eftersom frågan om trygghet är en mycket viktig fråga som kopplas till
demokrati och jämställdhet ? om allas rätt att få använda staden så som de
önskar, utan att stanna inomhus på grund av rädsla ? så har i detta arbete
undersökts vilka faktorer i den fysiska miljön som
påverkar upplevelsen av trygghet. Arbetets fallstudie består av ett stråk i
centrala Göteborg som har analyserats ur trygghetsaspekten.
Genom intervjuer, platsbesök och en undersökning av litteraturoch myndigheters
bild av trygghet, har en platsanalys gjorts och ett antal gestaltningsprinciper
för utformning av tryggare stadsrum, tagits fram. Dessa har sedan applicerats
på fallstudie-stråket för att visa hur känslan av trygghet skulle kunna höjas
där.
Efter detta arbetes genomförande har det kunnat konstateras att den fysiska
miljön har ett påverkan på den upplevda tryggheten, samt att fysisk planering
erbjuder ett antal verktyg för att öka trygghetsupplevelsen. Dock ligger en
stor del av den upplevda tryggheten hos den enskilda individen och dess
personliga bakgrund och erfarenheter..
Skolskogen som ekosystemtjänst : En fallstudie om det sociala värdet hos skolskogen
The concept of school forest was drafted in 1970 by the Forest in School organization and is defined as an area occupied by a school for outdoor educational activity. The main purpose of this study was to examine how schools use the school forest in practice, how it can be linked to the forest as an ecosystem service and find out how the forest is taken into consideration in the spatial planning. The study is mainly qualitative in nature and has been based on interviews conducted with educators engaged in outdoor education at four selected schools in a municipality in Sweden. Focus has been on the cultural ecosystem services for school forest, for example the physical characteristics that are considered as positive, forest influence on students' physical / mental health and the educational benefits available to be in the woods. Search has also been made to see how the forest is taken into consideration in the spatial planning and also what a contract agreements involves.

Today the building companies do not have time enough to investigate which architecture qualities their clientele ask for in their apartments. JM AB use to call their apartments ?generous city apartments?. But do these apartments fulfill the needs of their dwellers? And what would the apartments look like if they were designed according to the wishes of the dwellers? When JM AB get knowledge about the dwellers needs and wishes they can make even better apartments for their future customers.The purpose and the objective with this report are to draw up proposals for tenant owner flat.

Although often stressful, these continual changes and upgrades can open up new possibilities and even be seen as enjoyable and stimulating.Values, opinions, and everything we create, is based on an experience of the past and predictions of what the future might be. I want to take advantage of these thoughts and find out how they relate to our exchangeable culture.
Vindkraftsplanering i skogsmark
The aim of this study about wind power planning in forest was to examine the factors and restrictions, which represent technical limitations, biodiversity, tourism and amount of energy for wind farms in Kronoberg County. Suitable areas for wind power were identified from the collected information about planning principles and potential conflicts. From the suitable areas the potential energy gain is calculated. Methods used were mainly a literature review, interviews with experts and practitioners, GIS analysis and a rough calculation of the energy gain. The section of information and facts describes in general wind power planning and possible conflicts.

Konflikten mellan bevarandekrav och tilläggsisolering : The conflict between conservation requirements and additional insulation
Sweden has formulated ambitious energy goals which signify that by year 2050 the energy usage should be halved. One of the objectives is the reduction of energy usage by 20% by year 2020 and that it should be compared to the usage of energy from 1995. In parallel with increased energy requirements for buildings the demand on housing conservation, by highlighting also buildings from the last 50 years as part of the building heritage, continues to enhance, which in theory means that there is a conflict between these.The law will never be able to point out unique buildings and PBL (planning and building act) is not especially concrete. The National Housing Board has tried to make this more concrete by the new BBR regulations though there are still an enormous variety of interpretations.This report deals with the conflict between conservation requirements and additional insulation of the building envelope and is limited to multi-residential buildings built between the years 1945 and 1975. It is the stock with the greatest energy consumption and that is where the big challenge lies.

Den bebyggda miljön förändras och utvecklas ständigt. De byggnader och
strukturer som under åren redan har hunnit försvinna är det lättar att finna
värden i, brister och konflikter i historiska ideal är enklare att förbise
jämfört med samtida.
En betydande del av det stora bostadsbeståndet som utgörs av byggnader uppförda
under rekordåren i Sverige är i dagsläget i behov av renovering och förnyelse,
i många fall även de kringliggande utemiljöerna. Det
är stadsstrukturer som under åren från det att de byggdes fått utstå mycket
kritik angående framförallt de levnadsmiljöer som återfinns mellan husen, i det
offentliga rummet. Mycket av kritiken visar sig i uppsatsen vara oförtjänt och
bidrar till att förutfattade meningar kring dessa områden kan slå rot
ytterligare.
Syftet med detta kandidatarbete är att genom analys av Norra Fäladen visa på
befintliga kvalitéer, värda att bevara och hur dessa kan förstärkas med nya
tillskott till området, samt att föreslå möjliga åtgärder för konstaterade
brister. Vidare syftar arbetet till att utforma ett programförslag för
förnyelsen av Norra Fäladen i Lund, ett bostadsområde byggt under rekordåren.

The aim of this thesis is to examine the relationship between user education at high schools and the context in which it takes place. In order to accomplish this qualitative interviews have been executed with librarians at five Swedish high schools. The theoretical framework of this thesis is based on the sociocultural perspective and four approaches to user education developed by Olof Sundin. Based on the empirical material six themes have been identified. Each one represents a contextual factor which influences the user education.

Due to the new demands put upon combat vehicles of today the development quickly strives for-ward. With developers and experts across the globe working to meet the needs of tomorrows armies. The question we ask ourselves is what will be the characteristics of these vehicles. In order to be able to categorize combat vehicle and analyze its characteristics we use the principles of war. Based on J.F.C Fullers theory from the early 19 hundreds that anything can be analysed using these principles, through a modern interpretation of the Swedish army, we can categorise the present and future abilities of combat vehicles.
Vad skapar boendekvalitet? : Analys av småhusområden
The purpose of this thesis has been to signify what creates quality for the dwellers. Bycreating a definition of the term we have showed how well the qualitycriteria?s has been fulfilled in the newly built one family house area Pumpkällehagen in Viskafors.The questions the thesis gives answers to is: What is quality for the dwellers inhousebuilding of today? and How well have these quality aspects been carried out in tracthousing areas? These questions have taken us to our main goal: To describe what qualityfor the dwellers is and how well it has been carried out in a certain area.The literature review is describing what was published before the making of this thesis.From four different publications within the concept of quality an analysis template hasbeen enacted. This template has been used for our case study, but is also supposed towork in future analysis of tract housing areas.Interviews was carried out with the areas architects; Ola Nylander and Mattias Karlsson,as well as the client; Mikael Bengtsson. From these we have gathered their point of viewon the background of the area, as well as their view on the term quality for the dwellers.Our work has brought us to enact nine different quality aspects, which we considercreates quality for the dwellers:? The Non-measurable properties? The rooms relative connections? Sufficient and user-friendly property complements? The property complements connection to the apartment? Location of the apartment and connections to the environment? Opportunities of outdoor activities? Orientation and transportation within the area? The social unity? The cost of the apartment and its form of tenureFrom the case study, using the analysis template, we can state that Pumpkällehagen is avery successfully built area where most of our assessment criteria?s and quality aspectshave been fulfilled.
