The purpose of this study is to show how some Swedish teachers in the grades four to six assess the subject of English and what impact the national tests have on teachers? way of looking at assessments and grades and how teachers are supposed to work with assessment and grading according to the curriculum and the education act. The method of this study has been interviews with principals, teachers and pupils to get as many perspectives of the subject as possible. It has contributed to an interesting content and the end result will be as Fundamental as it can be. The findings of this study show that teachers teaching English in Sweden have a great responsibility because of the lack of subject priority and communication between themselves, the government and other authorities in the world of education.

Nimo Verken AB is the leading producer in the Scandinavia of drying cabinets. The construction has, with small changes, been the same since the 70s with a thermostat and a timer as controlling system. There was a wish to develop a modern cabinet which showed remaining time on a display and with energy saving functions.In this report we go through how it is possible to implement a digital controlling system, where remaining time is shown on a display and where it is possible to choose a preset ?program?.The report first presents the Fundamental theory for a PIC, where we describe the different registers, how interrupts are handled, the internal clock function and how data is sent to control the different parts of the construction.Next the report presents and describes the new hardware that is needed, such as the encoder, the temperature sensor and the display.After the theory we describe how the program in the PIC may be drafted. SMC is in the process of developing a micro simulation model. The existing micro simulation model developed at Cornell University for US data, CorSim, is one of the Fundamental parts for the new micro simulation at SMC. To develop the Swedish model, Swedish data on all individuals in Sweden during 11 years are also available. These data are organized in a database. This paper describes the process of rebuilding the database to a more useful structure.

Based on this, it?s hard to believe that we have not yet found a tool that will facilitate our needs. With this in mind, which elements do we need to promote collaboration in a virtual design process? This thesis will include design processes, collaboration, creativity and virtual awareness, amongst others.

This study is based on a statistical analysis of Fundamental key ratios on the Stockholm Stock Exchange during the period 2004-2012. In total 35 financial ratios of 90 companies were tested, ultimately five ratios remained within the 5% significance level. These ratios were ROA, P/B, Total Yield, EV/EBIT and Operating Margin. A custom made investment model was created based on the purpose to achieve a risk-adjusted excess return. The results in general did not show any significant difference in return between the model's portfolio and index.

Denna uppsats syfte är att studera finansanalytikers val av värderingsmodeller, värderingsfaktorer och informationskällor på den svenska aktiemarknaden under hösten 1998. Det är av stort intresse att analysera finansanalytikers arbetssätt, vilka värderingsfaktorer och informationskällor som är väsentliga vid aktievärdering, då flertalet forskningsresultat sammantaget styrker det faktum att finansanalytikern har en aktiv roll att fylla på aktiemarknaden. För att uppnå studiens syfte genomfördes en enkätstudie som bygger på Olberts undersökning från 1992 rörande samma ämnesområde. Resultaten från enkäten visar att finansanalytikerna huvudsakligen utgår ifrån Fundamental analys vid värdering av aktier samt att de samlar in information ur årsredovisningen, delårsrapporter och från diskussioner med företagsrepresentanter. Non-profit organizations gain increasing attention in society but their legitimacy often decrease by scandals in separate organizations. Doctors without borders (MSF) constitutes an exception and has managed to retain their legitimacy. The aim of this study was to examine how MSF built and retained its legitimacy towards institutional actors in their environment, when the branch in general is suffering from a crisis of confidence. In a case study, this was done by identifying the institutional pressures on MSF and examining which strategies MSF uses to handle the pressures. The study was conducted through qualitative interviews with employees at MSF and actors in their environment.

I den här undersökningen har vi konstruerat en investeringsmodell, baserad enbart på finansiella nyckeltal. Modellen riktar sig mot privata aktiesparare då vi märkt att investeringsmodeller och andra existerande analysverktyg för aktiehandel är komplicerade och i regel avsedda för professionella aktörer.I modellen ingår fem nyckeltal som vi har valt utifrån tidigare forskning samt egna preferenser. Nyckeltalen har beräknats för 24 börsnoterade företag på Stockholmsbörsen 1991-12-31 - 1995-12-31. Syftet med investeringsmodellen är att bilda en aktieportfölj som vi prognostiserat ska ha genererat högre avkastning än jämförbara marknadsindex under perioden 1995-12-31 - 2009-12-31. Aktieportföljen inkluderat/exkluderar företag beroende av ifall de uppfyller investeringsmodellens nyckeltalsgränser.Resultatet av undersökningen visar att vår aktieportfölj var överlägsen markandsindex.

New technology makes it possible to remotely measure all consumers in a power network onan hourly basis and store the values in a database.This thesis work describes the conversion process between automatic meter reading systemMActor and calculation software Xpower.Then the possible differences between calculations of power networks using load curves incombination with a yearly estimate of consumption and calculations using hourly measuredvalues is examined.The result of the comparison shows that, for the power network under inspection, nosignificant difference could be noticed. This does not mean that calculations using hourlymeasured values would be unnecessary. I believe that in a near future calculations using hourmeasurements will be the primary choice for many power companies to whom technology isavailable.Also some basic calculations of Fundamental power network parameters, such as power factorand loses, are presented using hourly measured distribution transformers in combinations withits hourly measured loads.The report is written in Swedish.

The purpose of this thesis is to analyse studies that evaluate Web search engines. This is done in four categories; the researchers? purpose, the evaluation measurements, the relevance, and the time aspect. Our method is based on a text analysis in which we use the direction of analysis of the content of sixteen evaluation experiments. Our results indicate Fundamental differences in the way the researchers are tackling the problem of evaluation of Web search engines.

This paper investigates the relations between the fantasy genre and the phenomena of escapism. It also delves into the factors which motivates consumption of various fantasy mediums. This is done through interviews with six different fantasy-consumers, along with two observations; of which one is performed at a science fiction convention and the other at a table-top role playing game. The study resulted in a basic understanding of escapism ? it is not limited to the fantasy genre, and fantasy consumers do not deny that fantasy is a form of escapism.
