An analysis of Konstvägen Sju Älvar, an exhibition of modern Nordic sculpture along a road trough the wilderness of Northern Sweden. Syfte Syftet med studien är att undersöka hållfasthetsskillnader för yttriumstabiliserade tetragonala zirkoniumdioxid-distanser (Y-TZP) vid cementering kontra skruvretinering av zirkoniakronor. Material och metod Tjugotvå överkonstruktioner fastsatta på fixturer delades upp i två grupper. En grupp bestod av cementerade zirkoniakronor på en zirkoniadistans. Den andra gruppen bestod av skruvretinerade zirkoniakronor direkt på fixturnivå. Samtliga kronor som vanligtvis skulle genomgått porslinspåbränning fick genomgå bränningsprogram i en porslinsugn.

Majs är en krävande växt, framförallt när det gäller växtnäring. Den vill ha näring tidigt och under en lång tid. Försök har visat att det skulle vara en skillnad i kärnskörd av majs vid olika växtnäringsgivor. Att sammylla en startgiva av växtnäring tillsammans med utsädet vid sådd skulle kunna göra så att plantan växer till sig fortare och kan på så sätt klara sig bättre mot sjukdomar, insekter och konkurrera mer med ogräs. En tidig utveckling av plantan brukar även bidra till en högre skörd.

Syftet med denna rapport är att belysa problemen med att jobba skift, främst nattpassen. Utryckningsavdelningen kräver bemanning dygnet runt och ständig beredskap för att rycka ut när något brott begås eller när polisens hjälp behövs. Det är främst skiftarbete, som innefattar nattjänstgöring, som inkräktar på fritid. I detta arbete studeras hur word of mouth fungerar i praktiken. Word of mouth är passerande, verbal och informell information. I huvudsak handlar det om rekommendationer men även generell information från en person till en annan. Word of mouth är ett mänskligt fenomen som har funnits sedan urminnes tider då människor är kommunicerande varelser. På senare år har dock fenomenet word of mouth blivit mer uppmärksammat, av både marknadsförare, forskare och företag.

Many traffic incidents are due to the driver?s lack of attention, resulting in dangerous lane departures, either sliding off theroad or into the oppose lane. These kinds of incidents often have serious outcomes, which has led to much effort being concentrated on preventing or lessening the damages when the incident is already a fact, for example by installing safety belts and air bags. These measures may be considered to be acts of so-called passive safety. Active safety on the other hand, means that the safety systems intervene before the incidents have occurred.

In this study I have examined how narrative techniques can be used to promote the reading value and readability in information. My focus has been on the communication-agency Mandoly?s information-brochure which function is to inform other companies about their own potential for development in collaboration with Mandoly. The purpose with this study is to examine how it is possible to increase the reading value in order to engage the target group. In my study I have used four methods: analysis of Mandoly?s old information-brochure, literature studies, a qualitative interview, and an user test.

The cattle production in the world has been questioned in Sweden due to its negative impacts on the environment. The use of imported soya bean meal as a protein feed for Swedish cattle results in the cutting of rainforest and an extensive use of pesticides in the countries were the soya beans are produced. As a consequence, the environmental impacts caused by cattle production increases. A production of protein feeds in Sweden would decrease the transportations and the cutting of rainforest. For organic beef producers the possibility to produce home-grown protein feeds is important since organic protein feeds can be difficult to obtain in another way.

Canine dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM) is a disease with high morbidity and mortality and with a high prevalence in certain breeds. Predominatly large breeds are affected, such as Great danes, Newfoundlands, Deerhounds and Dobermanns. One exception is Cocker spaniels, where both American and English Cocker spaniels are affected in a quite high frequency. Cardiomyopathy is characterised as a disease that affects the myocardium and gives an impaired heart function. To diagnose DCM following criteria have to be observed: 1. Dilation of the left ventricle. 2. Reduced systolic heart function. 3. Increased sphericity of the left ventricle. To be certain of the diagnosis, alternative reasons for the symptoms such as lung- and heart diseases with other etiologies have to be excluded Two different types of DCM have been found upon histological examination.

Title: Creativity and blockings: Non-musicians? experiences of music making The purpose of this study was to investigate whether the ability of music-making can benefit from and/or be inhibited by extra-musical factors, such as one's own or other people's opinions, criticism, prejudice and values. An experiment was carried out, where 10 nonmusicians were instructed to solve a compositional problem (writing pieces of music to a picture) which had been expressed in two different ways, one of which (A) was intended to block creativity and the other (B) to facilitate the creative process. All subjects also had to answer a questionnaire, where their experiences in connection with the task and their attitudes towards music and composition were mapped. The result was that all subjects succeeded in composing one or more pieces of music, regardless of which instruction they had been given.
