Abstract Background: Type 1 diabetes is a chronic disease that worldwide greatly increases among children and adolescents. Major demands are required from the individual who has this disease, which also requires significant knowledge from the nurses so they can be able to develop and create individual conditions for children and adolescents. Thus, the children and the adolescents can be able to take responsibility and feel secure in their own care. The nurse's techniques and specific tools in this work are however not particularly noteworthy and therefore needs to be advised.Aim: The aim of this study was to describe the experiences nurses have of supporting adolescents, between 12-18 years, with type 1 diabetes to an increased understanding of the disease and also to examine the methodological aspect data collection in the articles of this study. Method: A descriptive, literature study according to Polit and Beck (2012).

I denna kvalitativa studie har vi undersökt föreställningar och fördomar kopplade till våldtäkt. Syftet var att synliggöra våldtäktsmyter som finns i samhället och undersöka hur dessa kan komma att påverka tjejer som själva varit utsatta för våldtäkt. Studiens frågeställningar är: ?Hur påverkar våldtäktsmyter hur den utsatte ser på sig själv och händelsen efteråt?? samt ?Hur påverkar våldtäktsmyter det bemötande den utsatte får efteråt, både från professionella och från närstående/anhöriga??. För att besvara dessa frågeställningar har vi genomfört sex stycken semistrukturerade intervjuer med våldtäktsutsatta tjejer.

Mervärdesskatten på restaurang- och cateringtjänster sänktes från 25 procent till 12 procent den 1 januari 2012. Sänkningen var en del i den sittande regeringens övergripande mål om en högre varaktig sysselsättning.De flesta utvärderingar på sänkt mervärdesskatt har fokuserat på effekter i konsumentpriser. De utvärderingar som genomförts pekar alla på att övervältringen i konsumentpris har varit relativt låg, varför mervärdesskattesänkningar sällan verkar komma konsumenten till godo.En sänkt mervärdesskat, som inte resulterar i ett fullt prisgenomslag på konsumentpriser, skapar ett ekonomiskt utrymme för de företag som blir träffade av reformen. Det utrymme som skapas har företagen full dispositionsrätt över, varför en utvärdering på endast konsumentpris är allt för begränsad och riskerar att inte fullständigt fånga reformens effekter. Denna utvärdering utökas till att omfatta effekter på sysselsättning, omsättning, produktionskostnader och investeringar.Då den här typen av reform är svårutvärderad i sin natur, på grund av bristen på kontrafaktiska utfall, tar studien fasta på att det finns gränsregioner i Sverige som är utsatta för internationell konkurrens, vilket gör det möjligt att förhålla sig till effekter utöver ett före- efterperspektiv.

A tool used to accomplish this is the Lean management system. Lean comes from the production system that Toyota has been developing since the early 1900's, The Toyota Production System (TPS). The Lean philosophy helps companies, by working towards continuous improvement in its operations, to achieve higher customer satisfaction, more efficient production and ultimately higher profitability. Many companies are working to implement Lean in their organization. But there are many who fail to implement a complete change towards Lean.

I takt med att synen på psykisk ohälsa förändrades avvecklades den institutionsbaserade vårdformen. 1995 års psykiatrireform syftade till att stärka dessa patienters rättigheter och ställning i samhälletSyfte:Beskriva anhörigas upplevelser av att ha en närstående med psykisk ohälsa.Metod:En litteraturöversikt gjord enligt Fribergs (2010) metod för litteraturöversikter. Efter sökningar i databaserna Academic search premiere, Cinahl Plus with Full Text, Medline och PsychInfo valdes tolv kvalitativa artiklar för att analyseras. Den teoretiska referensramen för arbetet är Katie Erikssons lidandebegrepp.

To reduce costs and increase accessibility Holmen Skog decided to install and test a CTI-system. Central tire inflation (CTI) is a system that makes it possible to monitor and vary a vehicle?s tire inflation pressures from the cabin, while the vehicle is in motion. When tire pressures are reduced, the area of the contact surface between the tire and the road increases, thus reducing the ground pressure. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the CTI-equipped vehicle and analyze if the CTI technology is economical defensible during the thaw 2005.

The municipal forests of Sala cover an area of 6 000 hectares, starting in the vicinity of the city and reaching north. At the same time as residents make abundant use of the areas closest to the community for outdoor activities and recreational purposes, the forest is of great economic value and also worth protecting for environmental reasons. These conditions make forestry in periurban woods more complex than conventional forestry, why a good understanding of the needs and demands on the forest and silviculture program is required. The purpose of this study is to depict the usage of the forests owned by the municipality of Sala, to set forth the common view of the silviculture program implemented by the municipality and to chart the expectations the community has on the forests and forestry of the future in the municipality of Sala. The survey part of this paper consists of the interviews of thirteen individuals representing nine interest groups. As expected the views of these individuals varied widely but some results were expressed by more or less all of them.

Background:Existential and spiritual thoughts are a big part of pallative care. The terms existential and spiritual can be understood in many different ways. It may mean thoughts about faith or thoughts concerning life and death. The nurse in palliative care need to have good communication skills, be responsible and be present and supportive in meeting with the patient.Aim:To describe the nurse's experiences of meeting patients' existential and spiritual thoughts in palliative care.Methods:A literature review based on 10 scientific studies have been done. The studies have been downloaded from the following scientific databases; Academic Search preimer, CINAHL Plus with   Full Text, and PubMed.

In a time of fierce global competition, where an immense amount of commercial messages reaches consumers around the clock and in every conceivable context, companies constantly seek to find new ways to reach out with their product. One way to do so, that has increased in popularity in recent years, is the use of gift bags. A gift bag may contain samples, miniature products and even products in full size, as a rule from several different brands, which the recipient receives free of charge. The gift bag is typically distributed at some form of event, such as store openings, fashion shows, theme parties and the like, and the receiver of the gift bag can then evaluate the content without any obligation to purchase. The ambition of the companies that choose to participate with their products in a gift bag is, of course, that the recipient will find their products satisfactory, and ideally, that he or she will continue to consume the brand in the future.There are numerous scientific research contributions related to the use of free samples, but very few that concern the gift bag, where a collection of samples from different sources and brands appear.

En minskad herbicidanvändning är önskvärt ur flera aspekter. Bäst effekt på plantan ska fås från appliceringen om denna är i aktiv tillväxt. För att herbicider ska kunna användas framgångsrikt så är en avstannad tillväxt en förutsättning för en lyckad bekämpning. I arbetet har en frågeställning varit om det går att avgöra om växter avstannat i tillväxt, genom att utvärdera en växtfysiologisk metod. I experimentet har mätning av växtens fotosynteskapacitet, som kan mätas med klorofyllfluorescens valts som metod.

Därför skulle ett test med enkel utrustning behöva komplettera den kliniska undersökningen.Syfte: Studiens syfte är att undersöka vilket samband som finns mellan genomförandet av Nordic hamstring strength test och Asklings hamstring test utifrån skattning av smärta och obehag i samband med testen. Huruvida deltagarnas tilltro till att prestera sitt yttersta i en 90 min fotbollsmatch påverkas efter testerna samt att beskriva obehag och smärta efter testerna för spelare som varit skadad eller inte under senaste sex månaderna.Metod: 22 fotbollsspelare fick skatta sin tilltro till sin egen förmåga att prestera sitt yttersta i en 90 min fotbollsmatch samt skatta obehag och smärta med VAS i samband med testerna. Hamstring Outcome Score användes för att få en helhetssyn av deltagarnas funktion och skadehistoria kring hamstring. Spearman?s rho och Wilcoxon?s teckenrang test användes för att analysera resultatet.Resultat: Korrelationen mellan Asklings hamstring test och Nordic hamstring strength test var moderat (0,4-0,6) dock signifikant på <0,05.
