Bakgrund och problem: Det har byggts ungefär 50 nya arenor under 2000-talet och i flera fall har arenorna byggts i små kommuner. Varje år lägger Sveriges kommuner ut 400 miljoner kronor för att arenorna ska gå runt. Med detta som bakgrund tycks arenatrenden trots allt öka, men varför? Media lyfter ofta fram den ekonomiska situationen för en arena men kommunerna beskriver att de vill skapa ett värde som inte kan mätas i ekonomiska termer. Syfte: Syftet med uppsatsen är att analysera och förstå kommunens syn på en arenas lönsamhet genom att beskriva beslutsprocessen för etablering av en ny arena. För att uppfylla detta kommer vi att identifiera och förklara avgörande faktorer (både ekonomiska och icke-ekonomiska). Avgränsningar: Vi har valt att endast studera multiarenor och därmed uteslutit andra typer av arenor.

This thesis is a study of Facebook users? beliefs attitudes and behaviour towards personalised adverts on the site, using Wang & Suns theory about the relationship between beliefs and attitude toward online advertising (ATOA) and the connection between attitude and behaviour. The result, based on qualitative research and interviews, will introduce a deeper understanding and interpretation of users? beliefs, attitudes and behaviour toward personalised adverts. The result showed that people perceive the site?s personal adverts as intrusive and interfering with their personal space and the purpose of the site.

Under 2011 implementerade den svenska regeringen en lag om fysisk planering och hur den ska ta hänsyn till det regionala perspektivet. Den regionala nivån har traditionellt sett varit svag i Sverige i jämförelse med den lokala och nationella nivån och den fysiska planeringen ligger på kommunernas ansvar. Den regionala nivån har också anklagats, från vetenskapen och forskare, att vara avpolitiserande och fokusera på förhandling och samförstånd. Den fy-siska planeringen är organiserad och drivs genom demokratiska processer på kommunal nivå och det är politikerna som fattar de beslut som den fysiska planeringen jobbar efter.När fysisk planering ska ta hänsyn till det regionala perspektivet förändras villkoren för poli-tiken och det blir en förändrad politisk arena. Syftet med denna studie är att analysera aktörer i Värmland och deras syn på denna förändrade arena och de nya villkoren för politik den för med sig.

The main purpose of this study was to determine the self-estimated levels of knowledge about doping for a group of strength training young adults, and also to get an idea of their attitudes regarding the subject. A part of the purpose was also to investigate the potential associations between knowledge and attitude. Method: To collect information a questionnaire was constructed that was inspired by a similar study and in consultation with the tutor. Questions regarding background, doping and training experiences together with self-esteemed attitudes and knowledge about doping were included. Questionnaires were handed out at gym facilities in central Sweden, and were answered by men and women ages 18 to 35 years.

This essay discusses people's perception of what is important for their well-being where they live. The main aim has been to find out what factors in the outdoor environments of the city are appreciated and why they are valued positively. A comparison has been made between Uppsala in Sweden and Tarapoto in Peru to see if, and in that case what, differences can be found in the values of people. I chose to carry out a survey study that got a response rate of 57 persons in Tarapoto and 63 in Uppsala. The results show that there are some common basic values, but on the whole the outdoor environments are valued differently in the two cities. In short, the Peruvians value functionality, cleanliness, small distances to family and service, while the Swedes value a central location and short distances to friends apart from functionality and good service opportunities. Conceivable reasons for this might be for example different cultural prerequisits, material standard and climate. .

The aim for this thesis is to illuminate expectations and conceptions of senior housing from an individual perspective of seniors and how senior housing is put in relation to the process of ageing. Safety, community and accessibility are main notions for the seniors and therefore also in this essay. The method used for writing, analysing and interviewing is Grounded theory, with basis from social constructionism. Theoretical background comes from theories developed in social gerontology and gerotranscendence. These theories helps to give perspective to the analysis of the interviews.

De senaste årens trend inom stads- och samhällsplanering i Sverige är att kommuner och städer alltmer ser de svenska städerna och stadsrummen som varor på en köp och sälj marknad där privata företagsintressen alltmer tas i beaktande och får större utrymme i frågor som rör stadsplanering och utveckling. Vi lever i ett stadsrum, där varumärken och tecken på reklampelare utgör symboler som stadens invånare göds med enligt logiken störst, bäst och vackrast. Har den konventionella staden förlorat sin betydelse vad det gäller att vara ett forum för (stadens) medborgare? Syftet med uppsatsen är att belysa stadens omvandling i enlighet med den nyliberala stadens varumärkes - fetischism och dess inverkan på stadsrummet i Sverige. Med utgångspunkt i kritisk stadsgeografi har jag för avsikt att analysera det svenska stadsrummets omvandling i vår tid med Arenastaden - den planerade stadsdelen i Solna som ett konkret exempel.

The aim of the work was to gather information on parents' reflections on their own need for parental support in their role as parents. Where a need was expressed we investigated what form of support was desired and who should provided it. We also wished to find out if there were any differences or similarities in the needs and wishes expressed by the parents.The questions posed were: Did the parents feel that they needed support in their roles as parents? If so, what sort of support did they want? Who should provide this support? What differences or similarities were expressed in the parents needs and wishes for support?A questionnaire study was carried out within Landskrona. The results showed that a majority of parents expressed a limited need for some form of support in their parental role.

The purpose of this study was to describe how adolescents aged 12-18 years with inflammatory bowel disease experience their illness and what coping strategies they use to manage their illness and improve their wellbeing. The method used was a descriptive literature study, and the result of the study included 15 scientific articles. Our results showed that IBD affected the adolescent?s everyday life and social life with friends, family and activities. The adolescents also reported that they experienced a feeling of vulnerability, altered body image and that they saw themselves as different from healthy subjects.

The ambition of this essay is to examine if groups on Facebook are examples of ?slacktivism? and discuss which qualifications these groups have in order to provide a democratic conversation. The results will be discussed relative to democratic participant, information overload, interactivity and previous research. By nethnographically observing three groups and analyzing selected posts and comments with the critical discourse analysis one can see that slacktivism spreads easily by people liking and sharing posts from the groups to their friends. The particular groups that has been analyzed in this essay are committed to save Swedish traditions that they believe is threatened.

In this study, five qualitative interviews were conducted, four of those with pupils and one with a teacher, in grade 9. Humans - a gregarious creature written in the context of status and hierarchy, aims to study how these students in grade 9 are grouped and how you look at each other in and between these groups and also in terms of status between and within the group. Using the concepts of identity, adaption, exclusion and the meaning of emotions with the chosen theoretical concepts by Goffman and, Elias and Scotson the purpose of this study has been answered. The results showed that the students were quite flexible between the groups in their class; most of them were part of a small group that consisted of their ?close? friends.

The purpose of this paper is to find more understanding for pupils in compensatory educational situations and get an idea about how they place themselves in the social hierarchy. In my study I have interviewed four pupils with different experiences from school with the common denominator of being placed in a special class during some hours of the week. The purpose of this placement is to get them to achieve better results in various subjects depending on their grade but this also means a social separation from friends in the ordinary class and this doesn't correspond well with the democratic idea of "one school for all".What I found was that these pupils categorize themselves different from each other and while two of the pupils find themselves very included in the school's social network the remaining two had problems functioning satisfactory in a social matter according to their own liking. The feeling of exclusion though can not be connected to their participation in the special class but rather to their earlier social experiences..

Detta arbete skrevs inom det kompletterande pedagogiska programmet på Malmö högskolan. Syftet var att undersöka tysklärarnas IKT-användande på högstadiet i kommunerna Lund, Malmö och Trelleborg. Undersökningen utgick ifrån de tre didaktiska frågorna vad, hur och varför. Konkret undersöktes i vilken omfattning och på vilket sätt elever och lärare använder IKT i tyskundervisningen, vilka av kursplanens kunskaper och förmågor som lärs ut och vilka skäl tysklärare har för att använda IKT i undervisningen. Resultaten kom fram med hjälp av kvantitativ metod i form av onlineenkäter.

We have examined how the dependence, identity and social bonds affect customer loyalty and attachment to a training centre. The method used is a survey on SATS Karlstad city where 128 respondents were asked, out of which 118 surveys were used in the final analysis. The data was analyzed using ANCOVA and multiple regressions.The result showed significant relationships on attachment between identity and dependence. Social bonds had no significant effect on the attachment a member have towards training centre. Customer loyalty was measured by how long the individual has been a member and his or her training frequency.

Allt fler kommuner införskaffar idag lärplattformar att användas i skolor, men ofta saknas kunskap kring hur elevens lärande påverkas. Denna studie undersöker detta utifrån tre olika aspekter; kontext, ansvar och självreglerat lärande. En sociokulturell teori och en teori för självreglerat lärande används för tolkning och analys. Undersökningsmetoden är en enkätsstudie med både lärare och elever som informanter. Studiens resultat styrker i hög grad tidigare forskning på området och visar att elevers och lärares uppfattning är att lärplattformen har möjligheter att underlätta lärandet för elever och att detta i sin tur kommer att innebära ett större ansvarstagande i de egna studierna..
