Detta examensarbete utröner möjligheten att aktivt släcka ut en amplitudstark frekvensmodulerad sinussignal digitalt. Detta skall göras utan förkunskap om signalen gällande fas, frekvens eller amplitud. Eventuellt övriga, men betydligt svagare, sinussignaler i den analoga signalen skall inte påverkas nämnvärt av utsläckningen. För att lösa problemet har olika teorier för att lösa delproblemen med att mäta amplitud, fas och frekvens studerats varefter en lämplig kombination valts för implementering i en FPGA. Prestandan som uppmätts har jämförts med vad som teoretiskt är möjligt och vi konstaterar att metoden löser problemet på ett adekvat sätt men är i behov av en del förbättringar som diskuteras i slutet..

The purpose with this study was to investigate the rules and norms there is in a prison. The rules in a meaning of the one that the prison have that the interns must follow and the norms and values. This study is from an outside perspective, which is in this case between the prison warders and the interns and the relation between the interns. The essay is based on nine interviews with prison warders from four different prisons in south of Sweden. Habermas theory about systems and lifeworld and prior research by Donald Clemmer and Ricard Nilssons B-essay in law of sociology is used to support the results.

The purpose of this study is to establish whether or not there is a connection between a highincidence of computer gaming and English proficiency in Swedish 9th-graders. The study also takescomputer game genres into account, attempting to see if there is a link between frequent playing ofcertain genres and high English grades.According to this study, there is a clear correlation between the gaming habits of Swedish 9thgradersand the grades they receive in English, with a higher frequency of gaming corresponding toa higher grade. Fetma är allt vanligare idag, och de senaste åren har förekomsten av fetma ökat och bara i Sverige kan en halv miljon vuxna anses lida av fetma och 2.5 miljoner vara överviktiga. Gastric bypass är en kirurgisk behandling mot övervikt som har fyrdubblats inom en femårs period. En bättre livskvalitet har i olika kvantitativa studier kunnat påvisas efter viktminskning, men osäkert hur livskvaliteten ökar efter kirurgi då det ofta speglas negativt i media. I de kvantitativa studierna kan inga nyanser av upplevelser urskiljas. Syftet med denna undersökning var därför att beskriva den subjektiva upplevelsen hos personer som genomgått en gastric bypass.

This report present the design and manufacturing of a wide-band driver amplifier placed in radar module for airborne applications. The major goals for the amplifier were a high efficiency and to deliver a predefined output power. To reach the second goal an additional preamplifier had to be constructed. The amplifiers were constructed in three steps: Design and Layout in the software Microwave Office, Mounting components and Verification. The driver amplifier was decided to be a push pull configuration consisting of two parallel transistors biased in class AB.

This work aims to evaluate the possibility of using a graphical programming language to develop software for a digital signal processor. A fixed-point digital signal processor called Blackfin BF-537 is used for this. Instead of using conventional programming languages, like C or assembler, for software development the possibilities to use a graphical environment to fill the same purpose are examined. The development environment primarily used is NI LabVIEW, but also the use of Mathworks Matlab Simulink is investigated. A variety of programs consisting of various signal processing operations and utilities are developed using these development environments.

A computer model based on minimization of the free energy, capable to predict contact angles and spreading transitions between Wenzel and Cassie mode for drops placed on surfaces with different topography were implemented in matlab. SAMMANFATTNING Bakgrund: Whiplashrelaterade besvär är vanligt förekommande efter en bilolycka. En behandling för dessa patienter är steloperation av övre nackkotpelaren. Dock finns lite forskning kring hur detta i allmänhet och i synnerhet ur ett beteendemedicinskt perspektiv kan påverka en patient. Syfte: Var att utvärdera om steloperation av övre nackkotpelaren hade effekt för två patienter med långvariga whiplashrelaterade besvär, avseende vissa beteendemedicinska aspekter innehållande psykologiska och kognitiva funktioner. Metod: Experimentell single?subject studie som innehåller baslinje-, interventions- och uppföljandemätningar (A1-B-A2 design).

ABB Surge Arrestors in Ludvika have for a long time had a problem to keep the moisture at a steady state in the production of their ZnO-powder, that is used to produce varistors.Some black-box models of the spray drying process have been designed and evaluated to find a solution for the problem. After evaluating the collected data it has been found that variations in the supply voltage causes control difficulties for the operator. A cascade control system was designed, consisting of three PI control loops designed with lambda tuning. The disturbance in the supply voltagewas used as a feed forward in the control system.At the end of the project the control system was installed, and tests were made to verify the functionality of the regulator. It was shown that most of the variations in the moisture of the powder could be eliminated using small resources, through purchase of a process controller and four power meters.

The focus is at the methods, used at foster homes evaluations and at guidance/support the foster homes are offered.En questionnaire is made in Skåne, on this theme.Except that, it contains a fairly lot of useful information for families who are interested in becoming foster home.The questionnaire is made among public and private participants who evaluates new foster homes and places children (under 18 years) in Skåne.Because of the low answer frequency, we can?t generalize the result of the questionnaire. But the result we have obtained indicates that Kälvestens evaluation method is used frequently.In the subject of support/guidance we can?t see any specific methods used.
