Studien syftar till att öka förståelsen för hur ett kunskapsintensivt företag utformar sin värderingsstyrning i uppstarten. Studien syftar vidare till att undersöka på vilket sätt företagets värderingar påverkas av företagets medarbetare och kunder. Studien genomfördes som en fallstudie med deltagande observationer och intervjuer på plats hos ett kunskapsintensivt företaget i uppstarten. Studiens resultat visar att en gemensamt utformad värderingsstyrning ökar förståelsen för företagets värderingar hos de anställda inom ett kunskapsintensivt företag. De framtagna värderingarna påverkas i viss mån utifrån medarbetarnas föreställningar om vad kunderna anser viktigt i uppstarten i ett kunskapsintensivt företag.

The aim of this study is to describe and understand the reasons to why people choose to become foster parents. By using the theory of action we wanted to investigate their intentions rather than their motives. The questions we wanted to answer where: How do the foster parents describe their reasons for becoming a foster home? What reasons do they give fore keeping on being foster parents? How do they comprehend their task and the fulfilling of it? The study was performed by utilizing qualitative interviews with five foster parents, four women and one man. In the analysis we used the theory of action as a theoretical perspective.

For some time, there has been a general thought that churches built in the Early Middle Ages in Scandinavia, around the 12th century, directly replaced cult buildings or cult sites from the Late Iron Age. There are archaeologists who have criticized this and were instead skeptical that churches at all were built on places where a pre-Christian cult building existed. Several examples from Scandinavia contradict this and show a continuity of place and cult from the Late Iron Age to the Early Middle Ages. The aim of this thesis is through a spatial analysis, study Late Iron Age archaeological sites in the landscape around thirteen churches located around lake T?kern in the western part of ?sterg?tland, to see if there is a place and cult continuity from the Late Iron Age to the Early Middle Ages at the selected locations.

AbstraktSyftet med studien är att försöka finna förståelse för hur muslimer uppfattar och hanterar stress utifrån deras egna kulturella normer. För att skapa en djupare inblick i den Islamska kulturen så utfördes en kvalitativ undersökning på plats i södra Turkiet. Fokus var riktat på det muslimska perspektivet av stress, då önskan var att undersöka vad stress innebar utifrån deras eget synsätt samt vad som användes i hanteringen av stress. Kvalitativa djupintervjuer genomfördes med fem kvinnor och sju män som var religiöst troende. Respondenterna hade relativt likartade upplevelser och tillväga- gångsätt i hanteringen av stress.

The aim of this Master´s thesis is to examine the debate in Swedish library press concerning outsourcing of public libraries. The two magazines studied are BBL (Biblioteksbladet) and bis (bibliotek i samhälle). The period of time covered by the selected articles is 2005 to 2011. Although there are still quite few cases of tendering arrangements in Sweden, the question has been raised in the last years by the decision of the Municipality of Nacka (Stockholm) to outsource their public libraries. Another important factor for bringing the question into focus has been the general elections of 2006, which brought an alliance of right-wing parties to power.     In this thesis the arguments of the participants are documented and analyzed.

Denna uppsats försöker beskriva Johan Magnus Wickelius (1817-1867) livsförståelse. Eller hans teologiska typ. I det arbetet har jag använt Benkt-Erik Benktsons typologiska metod, inom vilken man arbetar med schematiserade typer som Wickelius är jämförd med och placerade inom (eller inte) under arbetes gång. Denna typologiska metod är inte en klassificering där individen, som undersöks, är placerad i ett fack för alltid. Individen är istället placerad i ett landskap där de schematiserade typerna är som kullar emellan (eller på) vilka individen sedan placeras.

This study aims was to examine if working recreation instructors and the technical literature have the same or different outlook on when the grown ups should attend in children?s play, and what it is that separate them. The work method has been qualitative interviews. The number of interviewed recreation instructors is four. The study shows that the working recreation instructors that I have interviewed consider that it´s important to protect children´s freedom in there play without the grown up´s interference.

This paper aims to describe how religion teachers in Swedish schools teach concerning questions about life issues and popular culture. To research the teachers' didactic approach to these issues, didactics has been defined with three educational questions: what, how and why. The essay focuses on teachers' effective implementation of teaching on life issues and popular culture, which we used a theory of offering meaningfulness describing what subject matter that may be imparted to the students. An offer of meaningfulness can be pursued and can be made visible in the context of what and how performs the teaching and also in the context where the teacher planned the teaching elements. The method that the paper has used is the interviews of four different active religious educators in Stockholm and Uppsala area.

The world economy of today is in an extensive financial crisis which has lead to the fact that people seek well placed investments and securing of capital, something that by many people can be found in forest investment. The price of forest estates has increased with 90 % during the last 5 years and marketing polls indicate a positive belief in the future among forest owners. The development of timber prices has not increased to the same extent as the forest property prices which implies that the property price not only reflect the yield value from the forest but also that the lumber value does not have such a meaningful role in the pricing of forest properties as proven earlier. This fact means that forest owners either invest their capital in forest in a speculative point of view or that the purchasers of forest properties invests in non monetary benefits that lacks a direct yield value. The purpose with this degree thesis is to increase the understanding of the pricing of forest properties with focus on the above mentioned fact.

Structural changes on the grocery market usually take place when the consumer is persuaded to take on the more labourintense parts of the distributionprocess. Internettrade changes this by causing competition between the unpaid work done by consumers and the labor performed by employees. In this master thesis grocery shopping on the internet is analyzed in a economic perspective with focus on distribution, changing marketstructures, driving forces and the future potential of internet as a saleschannel. The main conclusions are that consumerdemand and the belief in electronic commerceas a costreducing mechanism as well as a powerful new marketing tool were the driving forces behind the fast growth of grocery shopping on the internet. Electronic commerce introduces a new model of distribution with changing roles for consumers and grocerychains.

Den här uppsatsen handlar om rörelsen intelligent design, som tror att en intelligent skapare ligger bakom stegen i evolutionen. På så vis blir inte evolutionen en slumpmässig sak, utan en sedermera intelligent designad evolution. Den här intelligenta skaparen är med andra ord Gud. Uppsatsens ämnar  undersöka intelligent design och gymnasieskolan, närmare bestämt hur ID korrelerar med didaktik. This study has its background in the debate about religion and the existence of God, which has been an ongoing issue throughout the Western cultural tradition. Today´s information society has been an impact on the increasing interest for this subject. The essay?s main task is to accomplish a rhetorical analysis of two books, Illusionen om Gud (2008) by atheist Richard Dawkins and Guds dödgrävare (2010) by Christian John Lennox, in order to investigate the authors? use of rhetorical strategies to influence their audience. The texts are studied using a qualitative approach with the theoretical basis of some well-defined rhetorical variables: ethical, logical and pathetic means of persuasion, propaganda, and the important factor that a message always is presented in a certain context in which the recipients both have their own values and subjects to general truths and common frames of reference.

Syftet med uppsatsen har varit att studera framställningen av katolska kyrkan och den katolska religionen. Forskningsläget uppvisar ett resultat där katolska kyrkan under många århundraden var en marginell och misstrodd kyrka, och att en tydlig antikatolsk propaganda spreds från olika delar av samhället. Under 1800 och 1900-talet utvecklades begreppet nationalkyrka, en företeelse som kom att knyta starka band mellan luthersk kristendom ochsvensk nationalitet.I undersökningen har 3 dagstidningar och en veckotidning studerats vid åren 1928, 29 samt 1933, 34. Resultatet och efterföljande analys har i fallet med 1929 års artiklar och innehåll visat att katolska kyrkans och påvens relation till Mussolini tenderar att ge en reaktion av en fascismens hantlangare, men att material av dess motsats även förekommer. Liknande uttryck och resultat går också att se i år 1933 och 34 års relation mellan katolska kyrkan och Hitler då uppgörelsen mellan påven och Hitler skapar reaktioner och skarp kritik, men också bilden av en kyrka i opposition mot den i Tyskland expanderande nationalsocialismen.Framställningen av katolska kyrkan och den katolska religionen, har visat sig starkt tendera påståendet om att vara en främmande religion.
