I takt med att den muslimska befolkningen blir allt större ökar även fördomarna mot muslimerna och den så kallade islamofobin får ett starkare fäste hos många människor. Hur bör skolan göra för att minska fördomarna och den utsatthet som många av de muslimska ungdomarna känner?Denna litteraturstudie försöker besvara dessa två problem tillsammans.

"One life in two worlds" is a qualitative study of Syriac boys constructs ethnic and religious identity in different social contexts.Based on these three questions: how do the boys describe the importance of the parents' cultural and religious background in relation to their own identity? How do the boys describe their experiences of being categorized in school? Which significance is given to religion and ethnicity when the boys describe their experiences in relation to home and school context?I did reach the aim of this essay which was to investigate by interviewing the Syrian boys how they construct or reconstruct ethnic and / or religious identity in relation to different social contexts with a focus on the home and the school.In this study, I assumed the qualitative method in which I interviewed six Syriac boys who attend grade nine. The starting point of the study was social constructivism. Therefore, knowledge in this study is seen as something that is constructed in language, social and cultural interactions. The reality and perspective of reality is socially constructed, meaning that knowledge is created through the interplay of common action.The results of this study show that all the informants are agreed that their parents' ethnic background has had and has great significance for their identity formation.

The purpose of this study is to use a qualitative approach to get an understanding of what is expected of social workers targeted towards women managers in social services. Nine social workers were interviewed. The empirical data was then analyzed on the basis of gender theory. Respondents did not see their supervisor as a manager but more as a social worker with special tasks. Our empirical data indicates that there is a strong belief that men and women possess different properties.

The purpose of this essay is to examine if the municipality has a real freedom of action to control the use of the land and the shaping of the buildings in a large and prestigious building project.In Karlstad there is now (2006) a large building project in form of a shopping mall. This project is in its final stage of completion and offers me a suitable case to examine. Syftet med studien var att ta reda på hur lärare och rektorer på två kommunala skolor i Malmö ser på religionsfrihet i relation till skolplikten. Vi analyserade hur mötet mellan religionsfrihet och skolplikt ser ut i praktiken, utifrån rektorernas såväl som lärarnas perspektiv. Vi undersökte också hur lärare och rektorer ser på skolplikten och religionsfriheten i förhållande till de lagar och förordningar som finns. Vi genomförde en kvalitativ, ostrukturerad intervju med två lärare och två rektorer på vardera skola. Vi kom fram till att relationen mellan skolplikten och religionsfriheten såg olika ut mellan lärare och rektorer.

Som teori och metod använder jag mig av diskursanalys.I min studie framkommer det att den koloniala diskursen tar sig uttryck genom att innehållet i läromedlen struktureras utifrån en västerländsk/kristen syn på religionsbegreppet, vilken har sin grund i en essentialistisk religionssyn. Böckerna är organiserade runt centrala kristna begrepp, vilka implicit bär på kristna värderingar, och kristendomen är den religion som får överlägset mest utrymme.?Vi? framställs som en enhetlig grupp som i första hand är just kristna, men även västerländska, i betydelsen moderna, demokratiska och jämlika humanister. ?Dom? kategoriseras utifrån ?Vår? utblickspunkt som en motpol, eftersom ?Vi? ytterst definierar oss själva utifrån ?De Andra?.

Women ledaers and profitability, is there a correlation? Earlier research show different outcome on the correlation between women leaders and profitability. A Swedish consultant firm, Caran has a belief that more women leaders would create more financial profit, we ask us if that is the true situation. Using two different IC measurement methods we have shown the difficulties in calculate intagible resources, which methods that can/ can not be used and if women leders create financial value. We found the women leaders in Caran to add more value per dollar spent on the woman leaders than the value added per dollar spent on men leaders.
