Målet med denna uppsats är att ge en översikt av realtidswebb och dess möjligheter från ett tekniskt perspektiv. Nya metoder har tillkommit de senaste åren för att förbättra webbplatsers interaktivitet men sällan kan något nytt introduceras utan att problem uppstår. Vi går igenom vad nya metoder har för användningsområde, vilka problem de löser men även deras brister. Som undersökningsmetod skapade vi en webbapplikation med Meteor, ett JavaScript-ramverk som använder nya webbtekniker för att utveckla realtidsbaserade webbapplikationer. Undersökningen visade att moderna tekniker är effektiva för att utveckla realtidsbaserade webbplatser.

Swedish municipals schools have been given an assignment to convey basic values to pupils. The assignment is to bring up the pupils through transmitting and developing a heritage such as values, traditions, language and knowledge. Together along with the lasting knowledge which constitutes the community frame of reference everybody needs. There by is the purpose of this study through a qualitative method to investigate how the schools assignment to create a community national identity of the pupils is interpreted by the teachers in introduction classes. Even how the teachers in this study response to ?Swedish? culture by presenting and educate the pupils in this.

Syftet med studien är att kartlägga de problem kring barnpornografilagstiftningen som framhålls i mediadebatten efter den s.k. mangadomen. Detta är betydelsefullt att göra därför att uppmärksamheten kring de aktuella paragraferna blossat upp i massmedier och för att diskussioner i massmedier om ett ansett socialt problem ofta får politiska konsekvenser. Följande frågeställningar har legat till grund för studien: Vilka aktörer syns i debatten kring mangadomen? Vad framhålls som det huvudsakliga sociala problemet i debatten? Vilka orsaker till och konsekvenser av det ansedda sociala problemet framhålls?Studien är en kvalitativ innehållsanalys där vi studerat innehållet i debattartiklar, insändare, ledare och krönikor i svensk press.

Introduction: A general guideline was introduced on October first 2010 regarding a mortgage cap, limiting the degree of leverage of housing as collateral. Through the new guidelines the marked conditions concerning consumers? choice of mortgage has changed. The consumers are limited in the sense that they can?t only use mortgage when purchasing a house.

This thesis work has been performed at Volvo Aero Corporation in Trollhättan, at the department of ?hot structures? involving aircraft engine GP7000. The purpose with the study was to investigate the possibility to reduce size of the forging of flanges on the rear turbine frame when purchasing. Thereto examine the parameters that affect the flanges motion during the manufacturing process. The goal was to provide Volvo Aero with foundation to later bring in slimmed forgings.

Examensarbetet är en studie i felsökning och optimering av IP-telefonisystem i ett befintligt nät. Här beskrivs hur ett IP-telefoninät bör byggas och konfigureras för optimal prestanda utifrån Ciscos rekommendationer. Det aktuella nätet är IT-Partners nät som drivs av Nortel när det gäller IP-telefonidelen. I dagsläget har de vissa återkommande problem när det gäller IP-telefonin t.ex. att samtalet bryts då och då.

Purpose: The purpose of the study is to in a comparative and causal way explore whether there is a relationship between risk and return and also how it is perceived on the Nordic financial markets.Theory: The theoretical frame of reference applied in the thesis is considered relevant inthe perspective of the study?s purpose and research questions. We have among other theories used The Capital Asset Pricing Model, The Efficient Market Hypothesis and various Behavioural finance theories.Method: The study has its starting point in a quantitative approach with a quantitative data analysis supported by secondary data extracted from Thomson Reuters.Empirics: The empirics contains regression analyses made from calculated secondary data of 240 randomly chosen companies from Nasdaq OMX Stockholm, NasdaqOMX Copenhagen, Nasdaq OMX Helsinki and Oslo Bors.Conclusion: The study conclusions show that there are both a negative and positive relationship between volatility and actual return on the investigated markets. Considering this prior statement we can conclude that the Capital Asset Pricing Model can?t correctly describe the actual relationship between the parameters investigated on the current sample.

This account deals with my degree in furniture design. The project was done in collaboration with the architect firm Byggnadskonst AB in a quest for the cafe chain "Vivels"Byggnadskonst AB?s mission was to make the interior of the cafe that Vivels is building in Larsberg Center on Lidingö. My assignment was to design chairs for the café. In the beginning I had even thought about designing a table, but as time past I focussed more and more on the chairs.

In today's society dogs have become more popular as pets. This increase may result in more dog owners with lack of knowledge on how to care for them. A major social issue is the societies viewpoint to fighting breeds and similar breeds with an aggressive behavior. We experience that there is an increasing problem with aggressive dogs and their owners in Sweden that needs to be taken seriously.The aim of our study is to find out if people in Sweden think there is a problem with aggressive dogs. The study has been carried out as a literature study and a survey.

Some children develop externalizing and internalizing behavior problems at an early age. Previous research has often treated these children as a homogeneous group, the purpose of this study is to show that this group of children is in fact heterogeneous. Data from theSOFIAstudy was used and preschool pedagogues were informants. The sample contained 2121 boys and girls between 3-5 years. Groups of children with the behavior problems and the risk factors AD/HD symptoms, fearlessness and callous-unemotional traits were created.

Abstract Children with neuropsychiatric disorders often require special arrangements from the society. These measures could target the child itself, its parents, or other parts of the social network surrounding the child. Parents of children with neuropsychiatric disorders are often deeply engaged both in their child and in these measures.Three parents of children with neuropsychiatric disorders, and four counselors in different habilitation centers, were interviewed. The purpose of this qualitative interview study was to describe the methods with which the counselors worked to support parents of children with neuropsychiatric disorders, and to understand how the parents experienced this support offered by the counselors.The qualitative interviews with counselors and parents followed a thematic interview guide. A structured interview form was used.

Snabb tillgång till korrekt information är idag ett viktigt konkurrensmedel för företag. Databaser gör detta möjligt genom att flera användare kan dela på verksamhetens information och därmed kan informationen hållas aktuell och konsistent. Den här studien behandlar relationsdatabasen som kännetecknas av att datan lagras i tabeller. Databasens fördelar medför att den utgör kärnan i flera informationssystem och det är därför viktigt att databasen uppfyller kundens och användarnas krav.Studien identifierar typsituationer som kan skapa problem vid design och implementering av relationsdatabaser. Syftet är att databasutvecklare kan utnyttja studien för att veta vilka typsituationer som kan skapa problem i ett databasprojekt och på så sätt vara förberedda.

Domestic violence against women is a widespread problem around the world, this study aims to investigate Swedish men?s attitudes towards this problem. To investigate this I have done a historic overview of the political attitude change and I interviewed two ethnic Swedish men and two men with a foreign background, this because to get a fair representation of our multicultural society. The results and conclusions is that the attitude haven?t changed that much over the years, it is mostly the latest decades that politicians and the medial debate have acknowledge the imbalance of power between the genders and that the patriarchy is a major factor towards this attitude.The interviewed showed that the men with foreign background had a tendency to have more traditionally attitude towards women then the Swedish men..

Idag har vi mängder av data på våra lagringsmedia vilket gör dem till en värdefull informationskälla. Om denna data raderas betyder det inte att den är borta för alltid. Data finns fortfarande kvar på lagringsmediet och går att återskapa med så kallad file carving. Att kunna återskapa data är en viktig del inom den polisiära verksamheten, men även för andra verksamheter som förlorat data. Det finns dock vissa problem som kan ställa till med besvär när data ska återskapas. När filer inte är lagrade i sammanhängande datablock blir de fragmenterade vilket innebär problem.

I denna uppsats studeras programutveckling på distans via Internet, där utvecklarna utvecklar en applikation för ett antal försäljningsföretag, med olika produkter, som försöker enas om en gemensam applikationslösning. Syftet är att utifrån ett kommunikationsperspektiv undersöka de problem, som kan uppstå i ett utvecklingsprojekt som strävar efter att vara temporalt och spatialt oberoende. En aktionsinriktad undersökning har genomförts där författarna aktivt har deltagit i den programutvecklingsprocess som studeras. Ett antal problem har identifierats som knyts an till kända faktorer inom ett urval av kända kommunikationsmodeller. Resultatet visar att det är möjligt att minska de funna problemens omfattning genom att användning av en kombination av synkrona och asynkrona kommunikationsverktyg..
