The secularization theses has over the last decade been a central issue within the sociology of religion. The two classic theses has been criticized for being one-sided and only focus on the change from traditional to modern society. The intention of this study is to evaluate this critique and to discuss what is defendable in the early secularization thesis in our contemporary world.This essay?s primary purpose is to compare the secularization theses Weber?s The Protestant Ethic and the Spirit of Capitalism and Durkheim?s The Elementary Forms of Religious Life. I use two analytical models, posing three levels and three categories of secularization, in order to make the comparison explicit.

Friend lists allow Facebook users to group their friends and may be used to share certain information only with those in a specific list. This function has been around for several years, but has never gained any particular popularity among users, most of whom probably did not know it even existed a couple of years ago. In the fall of 2011, however, the function was updated and made more visible on the site.There are several possible uses of friend lists, such as privacy control, filtering of the news feed, self-presentation and targeted information sharing. This paper aims to investigate the extent to which friend lists are used by students today, as well as why students actually use their lists, i.e. for what purposes.Judging from the results of this study in comparison with earlier research, there seems to have been a somewhat recent increase in the awareness of the fact that friend lists actually do exist, but still most users tend not to utilize them.

The aim of this thesis is to examine how five works of fiction about anorexia and bulimia have been received in Swedish daily press reviews. The investigation is based on 60 reviews, which are analysed with a qualitative method consisting of close-reading and where a feministic perspective is used. The main question concerns how and to which extent the basis of valuation in the reviews is effected by the fact that the books describe a primary female world of experiences. The investigation shows, among other things, that many reviewers consider the books about eating disorders to be too many. They categorize the books about anorexia and bulimia as a genre of its own and place the books into the literary system principally by referring to other books about anorexia and bulimia.

This study analyses how different companies offer customer support through social media andthe customer experience of it.Facebook emerged in Sweden during 2008 and today it has more than 800 million user acrossthe globe. Initially Facebook was created for individuals. However, over time, Facebook hasincreased its functionality to support the presence of companies as well. Today most companieshas got a Facebook page and through it, they can easily communicate with their customers.Customer support is one of the communication forms that Facebook is used for.1A questionnaire that received a hundred responses together with a survey of the differentFacebook pages was done in order to determine how the companies work through socialmedia. The results from the questionnaire and the survey was analyzed with different theoriesregarding corporate presence on social media and Facebook.The results shows that only a few people actually used Facebook for customer support butamongst the ones who did the majority thought it worked well.

Arbetets syfte är att undersöka hur bildtolkning fungerar som metod för att nå insikt i ungdomars tankar kring jämställdhet, feminism och genus. Jag är också intresserad av hur bilder kan användas i undervisning utanför bildämnet, hur bilder kan användas som en visuell presentation till ett perspektiv eller begrepp, här till det feministiska perspektivet och genusbegreppet. Tillfälle att undersöka detta dök upp genom samtal med en lärarstudent som genomförde sin ämnespraktik i psykologi men även undervisade två klasser i det ämne som kallas livskunskap och idag undervisas på vissa skolor. Kursens mål är bland annat att ta upp genusrelaterade frågor. 53 elever har genom en enkät med öppna svarsalternativ tolkat en bild med feministiska tolkningsmöjligheter.

This paper is an attempt to distinguish the specifics of the conflict resolution process and the negotiations during trade conflicts. First of all, this kind of conflict almost always contains some kind of protectionism which doesn?t make sense economically. Imposing trade-barriers decrease the overall welfare of your own nation and the only winner is the protected sector. These policies can be introduced since the political pressure from threatened industries is usually much stronger than the pressure from the consumers who will bear the burden of protectionism.

This thesis deals with the question of how and to what degree Swedish history books for schools changed between the early 20th century and the 1960s. The theoretical foundation for this study is a perspective which treats historical accounts as narratives, bringing meaning and orientation to the present. According to this perspective, historical accounts may be divided into four different types of narratives, traditional, exemplary, critical and genetical. The basis for this division is how the narratives use the past to make the present understandable.The following conclusions are reached:That Swedish history books for schools have changed less, and in a moore gradual way than those dealing with general history. There is a growing use of genetical narratives at the expense of mainly exemplary ones.

Studiens utgångspunkt var att beskriva och analysera vilka föreställningar som ungdomar på gymnasieskolans omvårdnadsprogram har om genus. I bakgrunden beskrivs hur skolan utvecklats ur ett genusperspektiv, samt ges några nedslag i den aktuella forskningen som bedrivs inom området. Den teoretiska ramen består av Pierre Bourdieus (1998) vetenskapliga analys om mäns makt över kvinnor, samt Berit Ås (2004) härskartekniker. Studien var av kvalitativ karaktär och metoden som använts har varit kvalitativ intervju. Antalet intervjuer som genomfördes var åtta.

Modellen är ett kraftfullt redskap i designprocessen. Inte bara på grund av dess pedagogiska värde vid en presentation eller demonstration av något, den är även ett värdefullt verktyg i designprocessens tidiga stadier. Jag har byggt en modell och använt den som ett skissverktyg när jag utformat flera olika förslag på utformning av en trädgård i en norrsluttning. I metoden beskriver jag hur jag konstruerat modellen och hur jag gått till väga när jag använt den i min designprocess. I resultatet redovisas de olika förslagen och idéerna jag kommit fram till med modellen som redskap. Genom att inte bara kunna se utan även känna höjdskillnaderna och formerna i trädgården med mina händer så har modellbyggandet hjälpt mig att förstå platsen på ett bättre sätt och det har hjälpt mig att utforma och presentera sex olika förslag på utformning av trädgården som jag redovisar i det här arbetet..

The aim with this study is to investigate how Swedish public service local radio uses information subsides in the form of press releases. In terms of which entrants gain entrance to the news feed, in which forms and in which subjects. Also we wanted to study how the journalist uses the content in the press releases. To do this we cooperated with the public service radio channel Sveriges radio P4 Kalmar. For 28 days, four weeks, we collected all incoming press releases to the newsroom of P4 Kalmar.

This essay aims to create an understanding of how leadership can be arranged in a company that embraces new technology and telework, and how it can be experienced from the employees' perspective. In order to make it possible to investigate this purpose are three questions formed; ?How is the leadership perceived??, ?How does telework into motivation?? and ?How does telework into communication??. A presentation of previous research is given, focusing mainly within different types of leadership, distance, and telework. Based on this, three interviews was made in which respondents? experience of telework was in focus.

keywordsThis was a project about the process of animation and the presentation of looped animations in the form of a zine.My main subject for the project was to explore the possibilities of the computer program After Effects and how to incorporate the functions of this program with my hand drawn technique. I wanted to keep the hand drawn feeling and at the same time make use of all the helpful short cuts and utilities that this program had to offer. I found that this program was quite suitable for this kind of work, although I didn?t feel completely satisfied when it came to the amount of animations that I was able to put together. At the end of the project I had completed six loops (plus a older one) for the CD that came with the printed zine.Another big issue in working with this was the question of theme and content for all the different loops.

This essay consider ritual death during the ironage, and through a presentation of historical and archaeological sources. Considered ritual death I think we should study both historical and archaeological sources, to get a vider view and a new perspective. To make the essay easier to understand I have split up the early and the late Iron Age in the discussion. In order to study the ritual death I have shown archaeological examples like bogsacrifices in the early ironage, and decapitated victims in the Viking society. The victims have been considered as slaves by some archaeologist.

I detta examensarbete beskriver jag FMT-metoden, samt ger en kortare fördjupning i musikterapins historia. Arbetet innehåller också en kort presentation av nervsystemet och dess beslutsfattande delar. När tankar fastnar i samma spår, kan det hjälpa att försöka flytta fokus för att de ska finna nya vägar Jag belyser möjligheten att genom FMT ? Funktionsinriktad Musikterapi, komma åt, samt påverka en förändring av tankar och förhållningsätt, så att det utifrån dem blir möjligt att ta nya beslut om hur man vill hantera sin tillvaro. Genom fallbeskrivningar med två personer som jag arbetat med, visar jag på möjligheten att fokusera på den egna kroppen, för att på så vis komma åt tankar och känslor så att en mental förändring kan uppstå.

Abstract The 1st of January 2009 there will be a new discrimination law in Sweden. That means that the Parliament finally will interpret three EC-directives in there entirety. The new law means that the present discrimination laws will be merged to one law. The situation for disabled persons on the labour market has improved, since the discrimination law was founded in 1999. The Labour Court got some cases to judge and media has attracted attention to disabled persons rights.
