This project was a collaboration with Kajsa Bergström. The projected was to develop the French/English deck of cards. We replaced the knight, queen and king with the numbers 11, 12 and 13. We worked with separate aesthetics and solutions after making that common change. I worked on an idea on how to make the cards look slim, by adapting a handcrafted look, full of details.

The aim of this study is to investigate oral peer review on argumentative speech and to study the attitudes towards this peer review. The investigation was performed in an up-per secondary school class, and it focused on the different types of oral responses students give each other. In addition, the study investigated in what way the students experience this type of peer review. The results show that students reflect on form and performance as well as content, but they place more emphasis on form and performance than content. Students are positive about peer review and its importance for their progress.

Purpose: The aim is to investigate the mechanisms behind the destructive entrepreneurship in the assistance industry.Method: To investigate the destructive entrepreneurship in the assistance industry, we conducted a qualitative study in the form of semi-structured questions. In total, we interviewed four authorities and an employer organization.Theory: Theoretical framework: The study is based on Baumol's (1990) theory of productive, unproductive and destructive entrepreneurship and rent-seeking by Murphy et al (1991), but the study's principal theory that we have chosen to apply is the routine activity theory of Cohen & Felson (1979) that describes three elements that must come together in order for a crime to be committed.Conclusions and discussion: Our study shows that it is clear that there is both fraud and abuse within the assistance allowance, which can be done in different ways. Some users simulate their illness that they exaggerate their need for assistance. Some assistance providers have abused the compensation by paying lower wages and empty false wages etc. The study showed that there also exists a type of human trafficking.

Bakgrund: Globalt sett är HIV/AIDS en utbredd sjukdom som orsakar stora påfrestningar på varje individ som drabbas. HIV/AIDS har blivit vår tids mest stigmatiserande sjukdom då den är kopplad till starka tabun. Syfte: Att beskriva sjukvårdspersonalens stigmatisering och diskriminering av patienter med HIV/AIDS utifrån ett patientperspektiv. Metod: Systematisk litteraturstudie där sökningar utfördes i Cinahl, Pubmed, PsycInfo, Science Citation Index Expanded samt SveMed+. Sökningarna resulterade i 11 kvalitativa och tre kvantitativa artiklar relevanta för syftet.

The non-linear film - a film telling a story using a reversed or scrambled chronology - has existed since the late 20?s, but just recently gained huge influence and popularity due to films such as Quentin Tarantinos cult-declared Pulp Fiction. In this essay I will analyze this form of narrative, and more specifically; how it?s used in my example film Memento. In my examination, I have seen the original version of the film, and then a re-cut version where the story is ?turned over? to form a ?normal?, linear narrative.

Syftet med studien var att beskriva och få ökad kunskap om hur sjuksköterskor inom äldrevård hanterar situationer där medarbetarna har ett respektlöst förhållningssätt mot patienten. Studien är empirisk och baserad på kvalitativa intervjuer med fem legitimerade sjuksköterskor inom äldrevården. Frågan som ställdes var: Kan du berätta om en situation där du upplevde att personalen hade ett respektlöst förhållningssätt gentemot patienten och hur du hanterade det? Intervjuerna analyserades i tre faser. Resultatet presenterades i två huvudkategorier och åtta underkategorier.

Min uppsats handlar om Woody Allens skildring av staden. Det är inte New York denna uppsats handlar om, utan om de europeiska storstäderna London, Barcelona, Paris och Rom. I dessa städer har Woody Allen spelat in fem filmer. Dessa filmer är Match Point (2006), Scoop (2007), Vicky Cristina Barcelona (2008), Midnight in Paris (2011) och To Rome With Love (2012). Det ryktas även att hans nästa filmprojekt kommer att utspela sig i en europeisk storstad.  Varje film visar utvalda sidor av respektive stad.

In this paper, we examine the attitudes of 16- to 19-year olds towards stealth viral marketing in the form of videos posted on websites such as Youtube. Apart from their general attitudes towards the phenomenon, we were also concerned with their views on the ethics involved in this marketing method and how this affects their view on the companies behind the advertising. To accomplish this, we administered a survey to a sample chosen by convenience. Using the Persuasion Knowledge Model and prior research on the subject, we then analyzed the gathered data and reached the conclusion that the respondents in our sample were mainly positive towards stealth viral marketing in this particular form, that they generally did not consider it unethical and that even though most considered the companies to be responsible for such videos, teenagers were not likely to take negative actions against them if they found out that a video that they had seen was in fact a stealth viral video..

Syftet med mitt examensarbete har varit att skildra en grupp ?nyutexaminerade elektrikers livssituation och framtidsvision?, för att få en uppfattning om hur de valt att konstruera sin livsbiografi och ett oberoende från föräldrarna, och graden av individualisering hos individen. Problemformuleringen belyste hur individen i det moderna samhället idag ställs inför ständiga flöden i form av förändringar och risker som innebär att individen tvingas fatta beslut om hur de skall välja/vara/göra och samtidigt förhålla sig till det omgivande samhället. De metoder som låg till grund för mitt arbete var den kvantitativa metoden i form av enkäter som tilldelades alla informanter i populationen och den kvalitativa metoden i form av intervjuer med fyra av informanterna. I arbetet har jag tagit med litteratur som varit tillämpbar i samspelet mellan individen och samhället, och teorierna var: Ulrich Becks teori om individualisering, Anthony Giddens modernitet och självidentitet och Zygmunt Baumans arbete, konsumtion och den nya fattigdomen.

This essay will discuss the Roman God Janus, as a figure of speech, in four different texts written by Publius Ovidius Naso, Michel de Montaigne, Francis Bacon and Elijah Fenton. The Janus figure could also illustrate the relationship between the past, the present and the future, because of the attributes of looking back and forward, in both space and time, that Janus was said to possess. Reinhard Koselleck's ideas of space of experience and horizon of expectation will be used as an analytical approach, thus creating a dual purpose for this essay. On one hand to understand texts about Janus, which implies an understanding of the changes over time associated with the history of ideas of Janus, and on the other the past's importance in relation to the future, which includes an understanding of Janus via Koselleck's thesis about the change in relationship between experience and expectation.The question formulations are as follows: How has the Janus motive changed over time in the researched texts? How can the literary use of Janus show the changed relationship between the space of experience and the horizon of expectation, and in a wider context between the past and the future? Janus has gone from being a physical presence, as the arcs of the Forum Romanum in ancient Rome, to becoming a tool for authors, one that spans many literary rooms.

Bullying is a widespread problem that currently exists in many places and in different age groups. In our paper we intend to focus on bullying in adult life. As many as 340,000 adult persons are subjected to victimization in the form of bullying, which is about 9 % of the working population. Between 100 and 300 cases of all suicides committed in Sweden can be linked to bullying. Bullying is a social problem that should be taken more seriously than it does.

BAKGRUND: Skapande verksamhet är vanligt förekommande i förskolan. Läroplanen förförskolan slår fast att sådan verksamhet skall finnas med för att bl.a. främja lärandet. Det finnsmånga villkor som påverkar barns val av att ägna sig åt bild- formskapande. Tidigareforskning inom området pekar på miljöns betydelse samt att barn inspireras av varandra.SYFTE: Syftet med vår studie är att studera vilka villkor i förskolans kontext som påverkarbarnen att välja bild och form som ett av flera sätt att uttrycka sig och kommunicera.METOD: Utifrån en etnografisk ansats har vi använt oss av intervju och observation för attsamla in vår data.
